Spike was playing chess with Gummy and appeared to be losing when Pinkie jumped in through the window.

"Spike the author’s back!" she yelled.

Spike looked startled. "He is!?" Spike said. "Really? I thought he was doing other stuff and was just making quick little one-chapter stories?"

"I thought so too! But he came back and is going to write another chapter!"

"Oh good, I was afraid we were canceled," Spike said, putting a small crown on Gummy for beating him in chess. "Well then.....expect more chapters readers" *CRACK*

"What was that?" Pinkie questioned, looking around for the source of the loud sound.
