A week later, Screwball is enjoying a sleepover at Dinky's. "I'm so glad the sleepover is at your place this time around, no balloons to haunt my nightmares here," says Screwball relieved.

"Me too, your dad's balloons are scary," replies Dinky. The two then begin to tell ghost stories and crack jokes. They even snack on muffins, popcorn, chocolate and candy as they enjoy a movie. 

"I'm glad you're my best friend," says Screwball.

"Me too," replies Dinky before taking a bite out of a muffin. 

Meanwhile in the main room, Derpy is staring at the wall at a picture of Doctor Whooves with tears in her eyes. "When are you coming home?" she sighs. "Our daughter needs her father, she hardly knows you." She then goes and walks over and sits on the couch. 

All of a sudden, Dinky notices the sound of her mother crying. "I'll be right back," she says to Screwball, "I need to go and see if mom is okay." Screwball nods.

"I understand Dinks," Screwball replies.

"Thanks for understanding, Screwy," replies Dinky as she goes downstairs and checks on her mom.

In the living room, Dinky goes and sits by her mom. "Momma, are you okay?" She asks.

"No, not really, I miss your father," Derpy replies. "He hasn't been home in months. I can't help but worry. He probably got sucked into a time portal again." Dinky gives her mother a hug and comforts her for a few minutes before returning back upstairs to Screwball.

"Is your mother alright?" asks Screwball.

"Yeah, father has just been gone a lot lately, likely sucked into a time portal is all, she always takes it rather hard," replies Dinky. 

"Well, your dad is a time lord pony after all," replies Screwball.

"True," replies Dinky laughing. The two then start the movie back up again and get back to enjoying their snacks. The two are glad they're the closest and bestest of friends and they'd truly have it no other way.
