No matter how annoying he may be....Gale will always be my main back up.....next to my brothers in loyalty you could say.
“Careful you could’ve hit me with that thing!” I say towards the still startled unicorn “That’s what I intended on doing!” Kei said tossing even more tools towards me.
I dodge the incoming array of tools until she finally runs out “Will you please stop now i’m not here to hurt you!”
“Why did you sneak up on me then while I was working.........unless.......YOU PERVERT!”
“I’m no pervert.....I just thought when Clawfang told me not to look at you when you were working on that thing I thought he was setting me up for a joke....now I see I became the plot of the joke...”as I say this I come to the conclusion that it was not the smartest thing to say given the current event that took place as her face became completely red and soon she started hurling large pieces of metal once more at me until she finally calmed down “Now....for what reason did you come here.”
“Clawfang said I needed to gain a “real fighting gun” for my next challenge.”
“Wait you’re still doing the challenges.....why would Clawfang suggest that?”
“He said he made an exception for me after seeing that Gale wanted to be my final challenge.”
“YOU'RE FACING GALE?!” she says amazed at what I got myself into.
“Why is everyone overreacting at me getting challenged by that hulking wall of griffon?”
“Gale is a well known fighter and has amazing strength and uses weaponry to match his style of fighting.......something you will see soon enough....anyway follow me.”
I follow the unicorn towards an assortment of weaponry “Please hand over that training gun.” the second she finishes her sentence I hand over the “training gun” and she immediately hands over a weird look gun that looks more like a backpack “And this is supposed to be what exactly?”
She sighs at my confusion “It’s your new gun genius....and you’re lucky cause i’m giving you the first of this new gun....the others use different type of hunting guns......just let me give you your personality efficient mod to complete it...now lets see your body schematics....”
She brings down a weird machine with a wide lens and it immediately scans me “Weird i’m not picking up any heartbeat or sense of emotion from you.....”
“Well I don’t have a heart and no emotions.....cept empathy, hate, and anger.”
“A-Are all y-your species l-like that?” she stutters after hearing what I said “No......it just seems I was an exception.....unfortunately.”
“W-What about your a-arm?” the second she finishes Ruby pops out from my arm “You rang?” with his appearance Kei fell over shocked at the ghost in me “Who are you?”
“Ruby Flames my little pony and an ex general of Discord.”
“Heh never thought I would see one of them up close......not after he got imprisoned and all......so I take it he’s the reason you feel anger and hate?”
“You guessed correctly” I say in a monochrome tone.
“I see.....so your insides burn for battle alongside Ruby’s natural hatred of everything and anything...I GOT THE PERFECT MOD ADJUSTMENT FOR YOU!” she says overjoyed in a tone similar to Wish when she found a name for me “Yes the red mod will work perfectly for your gun....it uses the power of fire generated from hatred and anger towards the enemy or the anger stored within the user.....matches you perfectly so long as you have that guy with you.....so place this piece in your gun and voila!”
She hands me a red box that feels as if it were alive with the heat it was expelling “So I place this in here and.....WHOA!” as I place the box within the backpack type gun it turns in a small gun that latches to my arm that seems like a mini hand cannon “Yes this mod will be fun for its “explosive measures”.....you better get to your battle with Gale now....must not keep them waiting....and be careful with the knockback and recoil of that gun!”
As she forces me out I soon notice that her area has become a mess “I’m pretty sure I can stay a bit longer to fix up your place.....i’m mean it’s my fault that it ended up like this....it’s the least I can do.”
“Nononononononono I can handle on my own you don’t need to waste your own time helping me....” as she says this her face turns a deep shade of crimson.
“Yes I going to help you and that’s final”
As I say this she immediately tries to force me out and as I move backwards I trip on a fallen pipe and fall backwards with her in my arms with both land on the floor and unfortunately our lips meet as well, and to make matters even worse another pony dropped in to make sure I wasn’t trying to run away from my third challenge.
“B-Baron.....?” is all Pure says at the sight of me and kei stuck in an unwanted kiss lock.
Kei immediately breaks the kiss and tries to explain “Oh hey Pure......what you just saw there was a complete and total accident....you know a guy would never want to be with me...”
“Kei.....you stole my first kiss with him!” as she says this I immediately try to clear my name “She didn’t kiss me and she really didn’t steal your first kiss with......wait what now?”
Before I could continue my proving my innocence Pure attempted to buck Kei, but she avoided it leaving me to get hit and I got sent flying through eight walls before coming to a complete halt “Ow.....”
My body is strange as my weight is lighter than that of air no matter how much I eat.....and I don’t eat much to begin with anyway, but I can alter my weight at will to anything heavier than my current weight and right back to it.......gives a new meaning to lightweight, heavyweight, or deadweight doesn’t it, but even so there was no possible way for that small earth pony to actually send me flying that far.
“Baron are you alright.....you got sent farther than you should have.”
“Thats cause I was in lightweight mode.....” I say still holding my body in pain
“Lightweight mode?” both girls say in unison confused about what I said
As I explain my weight abilities to the two ponies I also state that I should not have gotten tossed that far from the kick that Pure deliver until Kei answers that.
“That is easily explainable....Pure is the strongest earth pony alive......correction the strongest being alive in this world.....however she never uses it as she is completely terrified of everything and nothing ever prompts her to use it.....until you came into her life apparently.” with the final part said she sticks her tongue out in a teasing manner “H-Hey....don’t say that with him here.....”
“Anyway.....lets go.....I have to finish my third challenge....I can see you don’t want me to help you tidy things up here...so I better be off.”
I leave the area leaving the two mares behind “And I don’t want to see you there looking at him!” Pure said towards Kei “As if I wanted to be there!” and with that said Pure left the room leaving Kei alone “But I really do want to be there.......”
I meet up with Clawfang in his area of the arena again “You got your weapon from Kei.....amazing you got the new untested weapon....hehehe this should be fun....you know the drill by now Baron.”
I take the lift down to a new area fitted for a one on one battle and soon Gale drops down on another lift.
“Well little man are you ready to fight in you last battle?” as Gale finishes his taunt I respond with my own “I wasn’t told you like talking about yourself in third person!” as I say this everyone in the room laughs at the now angered griffon “Oh we have a comedian here.....i’m going to enjoy this even more now!”
As we take are stance and glare at each other Clawfang speaks up again “IN NATURE ONLY THE STRONGEST SURVIVE.......LIFE IS A COMPLETE CHALLENGE FOR EVERYONE....SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST.....AND HERE WE HAVE A GREAT DEMONSTRATION BETWEEN GALE THE FLYING WRECKING BALL AND BARON THE DEMON KNIGHT!”
“Demon Knight.....well you sure are earning yourself a great load of publicity Baron....better title than mine!” Ruby says mocking me on my newly given title.
“You ready for this blondie!” Gale says to me “Ready when you are meathead!”
We both shout a line in unison “WITH YOUR BLOOD FALLING IN THE NIGHT, PREPARE TO LOSE THIS FIGHT”.
Gale pulls out a minigun that was on his back and starts to fire “Eat this little man!”
I run off avoiding the stream of incoming bullets and soon notice that they came to a halt “Preserving ammo already.....smart man.....maybe you aren’t a meathead like I thought you were!”
“That was just a test fire....to see what you’ll have to deal with later!”
I rush at Gale who soon puts up his claws and waits for me to close in “Take this you overgrown feather duster!” I jump over Gale who follows with his claws trying to slash me, but I quickly fire from my gun which not only blasts me even higher in the air from the recoil but forces Gales arm and head to forcefully slam into the floor.
“Ow.....what the hell......don’t tell me Kei gave YOU the new gun she was working on....dammit this will be interesting now won’t it?”
Gale turns to me and charges completely unaware that he fracture the ground when his punch made contact with it and tries to slash and punch me repeatedly were i just jump away repeatedly dodging each attack angering him even further “Quit jumping twinkle toes and take it like a warrior!”
“Not when i’m fighting someone who is just rushingly attacking waiting for one to connect.....you are really easy to anger aren’t you?”
He soon gets annoyed and pulls out his minigun again and this time fires in a spray of bullets that not only nearly hit me, but also go haywire and shoot the ground making it further unstable and having small bit of lava jump out and land in random spots, and in just minutes Gale corners me “That gun has an amazingly large amount of ammunition.” I say amazed at how he kept the pressure going and that he still had enough to fire at me “You haven’t seen anything yet!”
As he came closer he started up his gun readying himself to fire faith looks kindly to me as small bits of lava land on his gun over heating it to the point where he drops it from pain “OW DAMMIT......alrighty guess i’ll do this a different way!”
Gale jumps back to a wall and shatters it were he picks up the fallen rocks and hurls them at me
“Well you are certainly a creative one aren’t you Gale?” I say towards the griffon still throwing rocks at me “I learned that in battle anything is a weapon against the enemy, and this is no exception for you!”
As he keeps tossing rocks someone calls me from the stands.....it was Kei “Baron your gun can force you target back.....lightweight targets will fall far and hard on their backs while large targets like Gale will just get sent back a few inches, but not only that you can also reflect certain projectiles just like the rocks Gale is throwing at you!” as she said this everyone turned their heads towards her in amazement that she finally left her work area “Amazing.......it seems that our newcomer has not only made Gale fight him for his third challenge, but has also made Kei leave her work area....something that has not happened in a long while!”
As everyone finishes staring in amazement Gale speaks up towards Kei “And just why are you helping this guy at his attempt to kill!”
“Because you have lost your true purpose of fighting Gale......and it’s time for Baron to show you how to really fight again!”
“Oh sure I’ll believe it when I see it!”
“I’m amazed that she came here to tell me that.....heh guess I now have a better chance of surviving.” as I say this Gale angrily continues his assault of rocks which I now reflect back at him with my gun. “Guess you need a new tactic now don’t you?”
Gale soon takes flight and starts throwing bigger rocks that are harder to reflect seeing as they are pelting me from the sky “Guess you need the new tactic now little man.” after he finishes he onslaught continues until one of them knocks the gun out of my hand in which he soon lands and starts to slash at me once more “NOW WE FIGHT LIKE REAL WARRIORS!”
“Ruby help now!”
“No one can help you here!”
Ruby soon unites with me once again and brushes off his assault “YOU WERE SAYING YOU WALKING FEATHER DUSTER!” me and Ruby say with a strong punch hitting his gut soon after we said this.
“Where do you get this hidden power from?” Gale says as he clutches his stomach
“Thats none of your business now prepare yourself.”
We continue or melee onslaught repeatedly harming each other greatly with each connecting hit with the floor slowly becomes more unstable the more our movements get more violent, and soon Ruby's power slowly starts failing “Baron I can’t keep this up......your body has taken too much damage......I can’t help you anymore...”
I see my gun near me and quickly deliver a left hook towards Gales head which makes him do a one-eighty spin into a wall, and while his back is turn I grab my gun and plant it in his torso while he turns around with his arms in the air, but as I looked towards his face I saw him smiling “Laughing at your own demise Gale?” as I say this he looks up and I soon do the same only to gain a look of horror......he held a huge cracked boulder above my head.
“Time to test fate little man......are you feeling lucky?”
