"Did you find it Twilight?" asked Starlight
"Yeah but it's pretty hard to pull out," answered Twilight.
"Well hurry Sunburst is waiting for me and I don't want to be late," said Starlight.
It was a beautiful day in the Crystal Empire and Starlight was just getting ready for her next magic lesson with Sunburst. Now she was in the crystal empire library with Twilight looking for a book that would help her for today's lesson. Twilight grunted as she used her strength to pull out the book Starlight needed.
"GOT IT!" Twilight beamed.
"Here give it to me," said Starlight reaching for the book. Twilight flew down and handed Starlight the book. Starlight checked the book for accuracy and thanked Twilight, she then ran off.
Twilight grabbed her own bag and was getting ready to leave when she ran into a familiar pony with big orange antlers. "Thorax!" Twilight called out.
The reformed Changeling looked up and waved, "Hi Twilight," he responded.
Smiling Twilight trotted over to him and gave him a big hug, "It's so good to see you,"
"Same here," said Thorax.
"How are you is everything going good?" asked Twilight.
"Yeah," answered Thorax.
"How's Flurry?" asked Twilight.
Thorax frowned and said, "Oh sweet Celestia your brother and Cadence is on vacation so they asked me to look after her while they were out," He wiped a sweat from his forehead and continued, "She is so hard to keep track of I never expected an alicorn filly to be so much work,"
"Well she is still growing up," said Twilight giggling. "I assume your looking for books to help you?" asked Twilight.
"Yeah," answered Thorax. "Didn't find a single one," replied Thorax.
"Well keep trying," said Twilight.
"I was planning to keep searching but I have to get back to Flurry," said Thorax. "I'm too worried about her," he answered.
"Well maybe I can help you," said Twilight smiling.
"Really oh that would be helpful thanks Twilight," said Thorax smiling.
The two walked out of the library talking and laughing as they made their way to Flurry's room. On their way there the two passed by a room with Luna, a mare neither Twilight or Thorax had seen, and several royal guards.
"Wonder whats going on here?" asked Twilight.
The mare was the first to notice the two and turned to Luna and the guards while pointing a hoof towards the two. Luna looked up and walked towards the two followed by the mare and the guards. "Hello Twilight Sparkle,"
"Princess Luna what's going on here?" asked Twilight.
Luna looked towards the guards and nodded. The guards saluted and walked back into the room to finish whatever business they had. Luna turned back towards Twilight and Thorax and said, "It appears that two of our royal guards had suddenly vanished,"
"What?" asked Twilight. "How?" she asked.
The mare stepped forward and answered," Nopony knows they just suddenly disappeared last night,"
"Um sorry who are you?" asked Twilight.
"This is my friend Hazel Nut," answered Luna.
Hazel shyly smiled and waved. Twilight and Thorax waved back.
Suddenly one of the guards called out to Luna in a horrified tone.
Luna Walked back into the room followed by Hazel, Twilight, and Thorax. "What is it?" asked Luna.
One of the guards pointed to a hole in the wall that wasn't supposed to be there. The four walked over to the hole to examine. "What is it?" asked Thorax.
"We don't know it just suddenly appeared out of nowhere," answered one of the guards.
The sudden flash followed by the loud sound of zapping caused the group to step back. Suddenly a hand reached out of the hole followed by a small human. The group stood there in shock as the human slowly emerged from the mysterious hole. The human looked around the room before turning around and yelling at something in the hole.
"It's safe guys you can come out," said the human.
Suddenly another human emerged from the hole followed by another, then another, then another. Soon there was a total of nine humans standing and looking around room.
"Who are they?" whispered one the guards.
'We're about to find out," said Twilight stepping forward. "Um hi there," she said smiling. The humans turned to look at her. Twilight smiled and waved.
"Did that pony just talk?" asked one of the humans.
"Yes, yes I did," answered Twilight. The room went silent for a moment before Twilight spoke up, "Um hi I'm Princess Twilight Sparkle and these are my friends," said Twilight point a hoof behind her. "That's Thorax with the antlers, Hazel Nut, with the green mane, and Princess Luna at the end," said Twilight going in order.
The first human walked up and shook her hoof, "Hi I'm Will Byers," he said. "And these are MY friends," said Will pointing behind him. Going in order, Will pointed to each human and introduced them one by one, "That's Dustin over there, to his left Mike, to his right Lucas, behind him Chief Hopper, my mom Joyce Byers, my brother Jonathan Byers, and Nancy and Steve," said Will.
"It's nice to meet you," said Twilight.
Luna stepped forward and said, "Greetings fellow humans," "What brings you here?" asked Luna.
Before anyone could answer, Hazel stepped forward and looked at Will. "You," she said pointing her hoof at him. everyone looked at Hazel in confusion. She turned towards Luna and said, "He's the one," Nobody knew what was going on except Luna who stood next to her friend.
She looked at Will and asked, "Will Byers right?" Will nodded. "I want you to meet my friend Hazel Nut," said Luna gently pushing her friend forward.
Hazel waved shyly at Will smiling.
Will waved back before taking a closer look at her. Then it hit him. "Your the mare in my dreams," Both groups looked at each other in confusion. Hazel raised one of her hoof and Will his hand. The two gently pressed it against one another while staring each other in the eye. This was it. After this very moment both of their lives would be changed completely. . The group stared at each other the two in confusion. Meanwhile not noticing the black stallion hiding behind the door.
Smiling wickedly he whispered, "Yes this is exactly what I was waiting for all this time," "This is it," he said.
