Spike was in a dark void, floating in midair, wondering where he was at. "Where am i? why is it so dark?" he asked, looking around scared.
"That's because your in the dream realm" he heard a voice say. There was a flash of a bright light that neary blinded him. He saw a purple, and green baby dragon.
"Hey, i know you, you were in that picture i saw" Spike said in shock. The dragon nodded, and said "That's right, and I'm here to help you remember who you are".
What Spike saw next was the same baby dragon he saw, walking in Ponyville, with a smile on his face. He was waving to ponies that pass by, and they were waving back, then he heard 2 ponies talking about a gem stone in the Everfree forest "hey, did you grab that gem in the Everfree?" one pony said.
Spike saw the baby dragon stop, and jump behind a barrel to listen.
"No man, I almost had it, but those Timber Wolves found me in that dark Castle". the baby dragon grinned, and walked out from his hiding spot, saying "Sweet, there a tasty gem in mom's old Castle," he licked his lips "hmm Twilight would freak if I go into the Everfree...meh she'll get over it" he shrugged.
He started to walk to the Everfree, and Spike was following him. When the baby dragon crossed into the Everfree, everything changed again, Spike looked around, and saw that he was in some old dark Castle, with half the ceiling gone, and spider webs everywhere, it gave him the creeps.
He saw the baby dragon pass by the hall way, he ran calling "hey, wait up, what does this have to do with me remembering?" His words fell on deafs ear, he ran in front of the baby dragon to try again "I said, what does this ha-" he stopped talking, as the baby dragon walked through him, Spike shuddered "dude, that's creepy".
He turned around just in time to see the baby dragon walk into a room. Spike ran to catch up, when he did, he saw the drake picking up a gem stone. the baby dragon sniffed it, and licked his lips, he opened his mouth, and ate it. The baby dragon had a disgust looked on his face, and said "that gem tasted funny for some reason" he shook it off, and walked back out, with Spike not far behind.
The seen changed again, Spike looked around saying "now what?" he heard yelling, and saw the baby dragon running away from the Timber Wolves he heard about when he was in the Hospital, he ran, and followed them.
When he reached them, he realized he was not in the Everfree, he saw that he was not in Ponyville "shoot, he must of ran the wrong way" he saw the baby dragon grabbing his stomach in pain, as the creature from before, was closing in on him, Spike tried to warn the baby dragon about the river behind him "hey, watch out for that river" but he forgot he couldn't hear, or see him.
The baby dragon looked at the Creature with fear, and said "i need to call for help".
He took in a large amount of breath, and yelled "TWWWWIIILIIIGGGGHHHHT!!!" he called in the royal Canterlot voice his mom taught him.
He backed up more when the creature closed in, but he fell into the river, and started screaming "help somepony help me!" Spike stood there wishing he could do something, but he knows he can't.
Everything changed again, and he saw that he was somewhere in a green beautiful forest, he saw the baby dragon crawl out of a river dazed, and tired.
Next thing Spike knew, he saw the baby dragon grabbing his stomach in pain, and passed out.
What made his jaw drop was that he saw the baby dragon transforming. He saw his claws turn into hooves, his green spikes, and tail turn into a green mane, and tiny wings grew out his back, and a horn from his head.
Spike stood there, staring wide eyed at the dragon turned pony, and said "n-no, this can't be....i was a dragon....my name is Spike?".
Everything changed again, he was back in Ponyville, 6 ponies searching for something, he heared Twilight crying "Spike? Where are you? Please answer me?"
She sounded like she was scared "Spike? Please? Tell me yo-" she stopped when felt a hoof on her shoulder.
She turned around and saw Applejack, with tears in her eyes, she said "Twilight...we been searching for 2 months now...we checked all of Equestria" she looked down "maybe we should accept that he's gone".
Twilight smacked her hoof off her, and cryed "NO!! He is not gone....h-he c-can't be gone" she felt tears rolling down her cheeks.
Spike stood there, watching Twilight fall to the ground. He felt tear's in the corner of his eyes, he walked up to Twilight, and said "I'm here Twilight, I'm ok".
But he forgot that she can't hear him, or see him. He saw the rest of the main 6, with another pony he didn't see at the library, walk up to Twilight, and group hug her, as they cried for the baby dragon they knew, and loved.
Spike stood there watching them mourn for him, everything went black again, as he saw that he was in a dark void again, floating with images of ponies that knew him when he was a dragon, talking to him.
He saw 2 images that caught him attention, one was of him and a filly playing, the filly was running from him, saying "heh heh, can't catch me Spike".
The other was of him when he was a tiny baby dragon, and a beautiful white alicorn. The alicorn was cuddling him in her bed as he yawned, and fell asleep.
She kissed his tiny head, and whispered "Goodnight, my beautiful child".
Everything changed once more, as he saw images of ponies with sad looks. The same 2 images made him want to cry, as he saw a filly, with a red mane, and tail with a pink bow on her head, crying in her room.
The other was of the white alicorn crying in her bed saying "my son, I can't believe your gone....why" she cried into her tear soaked pillow.
Spike was looking at the alicorn with tears of his own, saying "m-mom.....I'm here, I'm ok".
He was starting to remember, he looked around at other images from his lost memory "Twilight! girls! i'm alive! Apple Bloom! Sweetie Belle! Scootaloo! I'm here!" he yelled, as everything went black and he got sucked into the darkness, he screamed as he woke up covered in sweat.
