A week later, it's finally the day of the school carnival. Dinky and Screwball are happily setting up and filling their claw machine using Screwball's magic. About fifteen minutes later, the carnival opens to the public. Everypony happily throws balls to dunk the colts into the dunk tank. Happy parents and infants do the crafts together. Pony after pony enjoys doing the claw game full of sweets, puzzles, games, and toys. Screwball even makes balloon animals for everypony as an added bonus. Screwball can't help but smile, same for Dinky.
A few minutes later, Twilight walks up to the girls stand and plays their claw game. She wins herself a puzzle. She then plays a second round and wins a Starswirl doll. Over this one, Twilight flips out. She then walks away with her two prizes. Screwball is just glad she got some attention from some pony she knows. About two minutes after Twilight left the claw machine, Fluttershy and Pinkie come over to Screwball's station to give her claw game a go. Screwball can't help but smile. She's glad her mom finally agreed to come over to her station. Fluttershy happily wins a butterfly toy from the claw game. Pinkie then gives it a go and wins a lollypop, ring pop, and chocolate bar. The two then smile, take their prizes, and go off to talk with their friends.
The carnival continues for several more hours. Every pony continues to play games and eat snacks. All the foals smile as they interact with the booths and the food ponies. All the parents watch as their children enjoy themselves. Carnival day is always a much loved tradition held by the school and now Screwball, looking around her, knows why.
