Ponyville. A peaceful place to be! Birds were singing, flowers were blooming on the day, and even the ponies of the village were giggling with their gossips and talks with some tea and coffee. Nothing went wrong when the six mares were busy in their jobs, helping each other for maintaining happiness and hard-work.
Meanwhile at Pinkie's Sugarcube Corner, she had many orders from the ponies who loved her bakery's finest cupcakes that she loves it, too! Pinkie Pie was putting the cupcakes in the boxes, packing them with tape on the surfaces and giving it to her customer. After a long work, she gets tired and went to her room and play some TV show.
As the TV started, the Jeopardy theme starts up. This makes Pinkie to jump from her sofa excitedly as her favorite show is now what she's seeing. Jeopardy was her favorite show and she always watches it on 9:30 pm as it was the current show timing. As she watches it along, she gets a jerk of a idea that she can only tell her friends to do it now. She records her show and went to the Castle of Friendship where it was her secondary home of her friends.
As she opens the door, she screamed so it can reach the corners of the castle:
"GIRLS! GIRLS! I HAVE SOMETHING THAT IS SO COOL!"
Twilight opens the door of her room with her wide eyes open, thinking what might have gone wrong into Pinkie. As her other friends who were busy later got distracted by Pinkie's scream. No one knew why she screamed so hard like that, so they went to her who was still screaming to call the girls.
"GUYS! I HAVE SOMETHING COOL!" Pinkie Pie screamed again.
"W-what the hay, Pinkie? Why would you just scream here? Shouldn't you have told us all by a talk?" Rainbow Dash said first.
"Yeah, Pinkie. You shouldn't scream in front of the entire castle, if anyone was here so.. he would find it..weird.." Rarity said.
"B-but I have something to say!" Pinkie Pie said.
"Okay! Okay! Girls! Please listen to Pinkie Pie for what she has to tell us for that she had to scream." The princess confronted and told everyone to listen Pinkie. "Okay, Pinkie. Tell us what you want to tell?"
"Thanks, Twilight! Now, I was saying that-"
"Did you again used the Mirror Pool?" Fluttershy said before she broke Pinkie's lines.
"W-what?! Pinkie! I said you NOT to use the Mirror Pool! Why wouldn't you even understand after a warning?" Twilight cried.
"NO, TWILIGHT! I haven't even used the Mirror Pool! Fluttershy! Please be quiet or I'll never be able to tell anyone!" Pinkie Pie cried at Fluttershy.
"O-oh.. sorry Pinkie.." Fluttershy apologized.
"Now! Without wasting any time, my first question is that.. does anyone know the game, Jeopardy?"
The girls went silent for a brief moment where Rainbow Dash broke it in the first place.
"THAT SHOW? I LOVE THAT BECAUSE IT'S JUST AWESOME!" Rainbow Dash said by flying with her arms out.
"Oh! I know that quiz-based show. Applebloom used to watch that show everyday on 9:30 pm by calling the Apple family to watch the show." Applejack answered.
"It's just.. marvelous! Sweetie Belle and I use to watch the show with pizza, popcorn and apple pies!" Rarity said with a giggle.
"Um.. well, I know that show! But, Angel usually watches the show most as she loves money-based quiz shows but, I watch that show too. No doubts." Fluttershy said.
"Um.. well.. I have a question.. what's Jeopardy, by the way?" Twilight questioned.
"WHAT?" All screamed except Twilight.
"WAIT A SECOND! Twilight.. have you.. NEVER WATCHED THE SHOW BEFORE?!" Pinkie Pie questioned while she cried.
"Um.. no? I mean, I never watched the show as I was busy with my princess duties! Heh heh..." Twilight replied.
"Wow, Twilight.. shame on you.." Applejack said.
"Yeah, Twilight! Can't you even open the TV to see something new?" Rainbow Dash said.
"Oh.. my.. GOD!" Rarity said as she fell to the ground getting dizzy.
"Twilight, I-I'm sorry if I'm rude this time, but... SHAME ON YOU!" Fluttershy screamed.
"Girls! But, why are you blaming me? There are many ponies who have not watched that show! Is that a type of shame?" Twilight said in defense.
"Excuse me, Princess! There are millions of ponies who know that show! If you ask someone about the show, they are gonna answer it in 2 seconds!" Pinkie Pie replied.
"Okay! It's my fault that I haven't watched the show, okay?!" Twilight replied by folding her hooves.
"Good!" All said in unison except Twilight who now opens her eyes wide.
"But, why were you telling about this?" Rainbow Dash questioned to Pinkie.
"Oh! I forgot that! Soooo.. I was thainking that.. mind not we also.. DO A JEOPARDY SHOW?" Pinkie Pie cried after she said calmly. Everything was silent after all.
"W-what? Pinkie.. that game is for adult ponies! Why would we attend an adult show?" Rarity said.
"We are adults, Rarity! Why would you budge in my plan that I'm planning to do?" Pinkie said with a smirk.
"I'm not budging, Pinkie but, Jeopardy is the show where adults play the game by answering adult-based topic's question, and we are not adults! Please, Pinkie.. try to understand..."
"Yeah, Pinkie. It's maybe better we shouldn't attend the show like that. You don't know that we are not that geeks to win a money game." Applejack gave Pinkie an advice.
"B-but..." Pinkie said before Twilight broke her lines.
"No, Pinkie! I said.. NO! If we are giving advice then why would you add more chilli sauce into that? Please, we CAN'T attend the show.." Twilight said by moving her hoof to the sky.
"NOOOOOO!" Pinkie Pie bended her knees to the ground with her hooves and head to the sky.
"I'm sorry, Pinkie. If we were adults this time, we would have accepted to join the show." Rainbow Dash said.
Pinkie Pie sheds a tear that she can't go and attend the Equestria's famous show, Jeopardy that which it was her dream to answer a question there. Pinkie Pie standed up with a sad face and begins to walk away to her room with her head down.
"I think we shouldn't had to do that to sadden Pinkie like that.."
"But girls! Please try to understand! We are not-" Rainbow Dash said after Twilight broke her lines.
"No, Rainbow.. even we're not adults and all, we still have to make Pinkie's childhood wish true. Friends also have a duty to make their friend's wish true, and we're her friends! We have a responsibility to make Pinkie attend our favorite show. If we didn't allow her to attend, your hearts will feel we did wrong..." Twilight said.
"Yeah. Twilight's words show some weightage, friends do have a responsibility!" Rarity said with a glancing look on her face.
"I feel bad about Pinkie. I don't think she's gonna have a good rest." Applejack said worriedly.
"But, wait. Pinkie always get excited when we do allow her to go there, before she was sad when we didn't allow her to attend there." Fluttershy said.
"Remember when we lied that we didn't let her knew that we were having a secret for Pinkie's party, right?" Rarity said.
"Yeah, she got excited that it was her birthday.."
"That's what we're gonna do!" Twilight said.
The next day, Pinkie was walking through the hallway, going to the map room where she finds her friends discussing something. She thinks that they are maybe deciding to attend the show. She quickly barges their current conversation and asks that maybe they can attend the famous game Jeopardy.
Sooooo! That means... can we... attend the show?" Pinkie Pie questioned with a glance.
The mares were silent. They were looking to each other with weird expression on their own faces. Pinkie Pie was sweating that would they accept to attend the show, as she wanted to attend the Jeopardy show, she only wanted her friends and her to play the for excitement. After a brief silence, the decision came.
"Pinkie... we decided." Twilight said first by breaking the silence.
"Y-yeah.. would.. you?" Pinkie Pie said with a smirk.
"We.. will.."
Pinkie sweats a lot. She gets so scared for hearing the final word from their mouths.
"ATTEND THE SHOW!" All cried in unison except Pinkie.
"R-Really?!" Pinkie said in excitement.
"Yeah, Pinkie! How we will never attend to the favorite show we use to watch the most?" Rainbow Dash replied.
"T-THANK YOU SO MUCH GIRLS!" Pinkie Pie said by hugging the mares. "B-but.. why would you do that?"
"Pinkie.. don't you know? Friends have a responsibility to fulfilling a friend's wish, and that's what we are doing!" Fluttershy said.
"T-thank you.. I am happy that I have these friends..." Pinkie Pie said with a tear.
"Pinkie, I-I have a question.." Twilight said.
"Yeah, Twilight!" Pinkie Pie said.
"A-are you sure it's free of cost?" Twilight said.
"What?! Nooooooo!" All cried in unison again except Twilight.
"Why you care about money, Twilight? We are gonna get cash when we return home!" Rarity said.
The mares laughed hard from the joke Rarity said.
"Don't worry, Twilight! It's free of cost and we all can join it for free!" Applejack said to Twilight.
"W-wow.. I never knew this show would not take cash from us!" Twilight said.
"You're right, Twilight. You are..." Fluttershy said.
"I bet they were!" Rainbow Dash said.
The mares laughed with a excitement and they were overjoyed to join the show. They spent the entire day from day to night, making a very good day.
"Okay, girls! Jokes aside, now time for bed!" Twilight said loudly.
"Yeah.. *yawns* it's pretty nighttime and we need a good night rest.." Rarity said with a yawn in between.
"I'm pretty tired... goodnight everypony.." Fluttershy wished the girls.
"Good night..." All said in unison.
The girls went to their bedroom to sleep their eyes out. They were sleeping happily as they are going to attend the show tomorrow. No one was so excited than Pinkie who was dreaming that she was in the show. She answered the question right from the topic and won the prize, she was super excited from that.
The next morning, it was the day to take part in the quiz game, Jeopardy for what Pinkie wanted the most. She woke up with a great smile on her face as it was a lucky day for her. She can't sustain the happiness as she's going to take part, when her friends saw her jumping around very happily, her friends were smiling that they made their day best as their friend's mood's cheery.
"It's kinda good that Pinkie wakes up in this mood. When I see her in this mood, I feel like.. I also want to join her!" Twilight said with a grin.
"Yeah, because we are going to attend the show now, that's why." Rarity said.
"But think about it, girls. She just wanted to attend the show and we didn't allow her to join, such a shame right?"
"Twilight's right. We friends have a responsibility, and it's only for her happiness and all. We can't afford it like that." Applejack said.
"True that.."
"Soooo.. have you forgotten we have to take admission in the game, right?" Rainbow Dash reminded.
"Ooohh!" All wooed except Rainbow Dash.
"Yeah.. we should think about that firstly." Fluttershy recommended.
"But where is the admissioning place where we have to register a paper to join?" Rarity questioned.
"I-I don't know about that, Rarity.. I think Pinkie knows about this." Twilight replied.
"Yeah, she must know where we can admission."
"We should go to her and ask."
"Yeah, yeah.." All said in unison and walked away to find Pinkie.
Pinkie Pie was walking out of the bathroom, singing a song melodiously. The girls find her and they are about to ask her.
"Uh, Pinkie?" Twilight said.
"Yeah, Twilight?" Pinkie said with a brow up her head.
"Um, we are not cancelling the show but, do you know where is the registering place?"
"O-oh! The admission place! I know that!"
"W-where it is, then?"
"Well, it's quite far away from Ponyville but, it is in Manehattan."
"WHAT?" All cried sans Pinkie.
"So far away? That's not fair!" Rainbow Dash said angrily.
"But, girls! The show's residing in Manehattan where it's registration place is just near it." Pinkie said.
"B-but Pinkie! It's so far away! We don't even know where is the show's address." Rarity said worriedly.
"But, we're gone there! Why would you think it's just far away? It's only a matter of one-day approx!" Applejack cried.
"But, still. We don't know when the registration will end, maybe.. it will end here today itself?" Rainbow Dash feared.
"What? Nooooo!" All cried sans Rainbow Dash. "Say positive, Rainbow!"
"Oops, sorry.." Rainbow grinned.
"Why sorry? Now since you said that, we are gonna be late for registration!" Applejack said.
"It's really confusing! We even don't know where to register, and we even don't know when it ends.." Twilight said in question.
"I think we can join another year.." Fluttershy said.
All looked at Fluttershy angrily, making Fluttershy bend herself to the ground, looking everypony one by one.
"But, how we will go there? We can book a train but, we must know the location of the place before we can leave." Applejack adviced.
"Yeah..." All said together.
"Wait! I think we have a registering site on our computer." Pinkie Pie remembered.
"What? You know that?" Applejack said in surprise.
"Yeah! Veeeery long time ago, I founded the website as I wanted to join the game! But, my parents stopped me for doing this..."
"Really? But you may know the website, right?" Rarity questioned.
"Umm... yeah!"
"Oh my goodness gracious, we have got one problem solved.."
"Buuut..."
"Now, what Pinkie?" Applejack raised her brow.
"Um, well... the website name was.. www.jeopardy.com.. like that!"
"Yeah! So, we gotta register it fast!" Rainbow Dash said.
"Yeah, yeah! Turn on the computer now!"
The mares opened their computer and typed the website what Pinkie told. When they searched the website and entered it, the website was downed due to certain reasons.
"W-What?! T-The website's downed?!" Twilight said in surprise.
"Pinkie! You said it'll work!" Fluttershy said.
"B-but, I don't know that it's downed!" Pinkie Pie replied.
"Oh no.. now how we're gonna register?" Twilight said by putting her hoof on her head.
"There's no other way.. we gotta register by going to Manehattan this time." Applejack said.
"Yeah, yeah.. come on girls, pack your bags, we're leaving for Manehattan." Twilight said.
"Okay, Twilight.." Fluttershy said shyly.
"OKAY!" Pinkie Pie said happily.
The mares packed their bags to leave for Manehattan for registration. They spent one-day to reach Manehattan, making their one-day sleep in the train. After that, they reached safely, whey went off the station and waited for a cab.
"Okay! I'm ready! The place where Jeopardy registrations are!" Pinkie was keeping herself ready to tell the cab pony.
"Yeah, you'll have to say like that." Twilight said.
"Yeah, yeah.."
The cab pony reached to the mares, asking where to go.
"Madam, where you have to go?" The cab pony asks.
"Yeah! To the place where Jeopardy registrations are!" Pinkie replies.
"Wait, mam.. the registrations are closed."
"WHAT?!" The mares cried in unison.
"Yeah! Why?"
"Uh.. nothing. But, you know where's the location, huh?"
"Um.. yeah?"
"OKAY GIRLS! JUMP ON!"
The girls get in the cab and they leave for the registration centre. When they reached there, they saw the registration counter closed.
"OH NO!" Pinkie says sadly.
"It's all Rainbow's fault!" Applejack pointed.
"W-What? What are you talking about!?" Rainbow confronted.
"You said the registrations will may end today itself! And look what you did!"
"That's not my fault, Applejack!"
"It's is you're fault!"
"Okay, okay! Girls.. stop fighting and find another way." Twilight said.
"There's no other way! Applejack is barging inside me with no truth thoughts!"
"What? Why I'm barging onto you, huh?"
"STOP!" Twilight uses her magic to stop the mares.
"I-I can't move..."
"Girls, stop! Fighting will not make the registrations open fast!" Twilight cried. "You'll need to find another way till-"
"No need to register, girls..." Pinkie said sullenly.
"W-what? Pinkie.. we promised that we will make you attend the show!"
"I know but, if the registrations are closed so, why you're finding another way out?"
"No, Pinkie. Please don't take this thing seriously.. we are NOT late!" Rarity explained.
"But, why are we standing here only? You'll think and time will already pass out!"
"Pinkie.. we're sorry but, we can't do since the registrations are closed now." Fluttershy said.
"I know but, now they are closed so, why are we here then? We should leave for Ponyville then.."
"No, Pinkie! Please, it's not too late! You're understanding wrong!" Twilight said worriedly.
"I'm not wrong, guys.. you tried my best to make my dream come true, and you did. That's my journey to the show, and only a friend can do this." Pinkie smiled.
"Pinkie, that means.. you're not sad from us?" Rainbow Dash said in confusion.
"Yeah, girls! Why I should be sad? I am the Element of Laughter! We should be happy in negative attitudes! And that's what I'm doing, too!" Pinkie said happily.
"Oh, Pinkie..." Twilight smiled.
The mares did a group hug to each other as well to Pinkie's comfort. As they we're busy in hugging, a pony's voice called out:
"I'll do your registration."
The mares got confused and looked around that where would the sound came would be. Then the pony who was hidden came out of the shadow, that pony was none other than.. Alex Trebek!
"Alex Trebek?" All said in unison.
"Yes, my dear friends! I just heard that you all are sad since the registrations got closed. I feel bad too but, I am feeling good today from Pinkie's words." Trebek said sincerly.
"W-wait.. y-you know my name? H-how?" Pinkie said in surprise.
"You know.. you're the Element of Laughter, right?"
"Y-yeah! I-I am!"
"You really love this show and I really admit you want to join the show, and you couldn't so, I was thinking that, mind not I... do you're registration?"
"Y-yeah! We're glad to hear that!" Twilight said happily.
"Just fill in these details and your signatures and you're done!"
Alex Trebek hands over some papers to the girls and they register their details into the paper, when they were done, they celebrated very happily.
"See, girls! We found a way and that way made a thing good for us!" Twilight said.
"Yeah, Twilight. We we're kinda wrong so, sorry about that.." Rainbow Dash said.
"No! It's okay, girls! I appreciate that."
"Sooo, Mr. Trebek? When the show's gonna start?"
"It's gonna start on Saturday, 9:30 pm as the timing of the show." Trebek replied.
"Thank you so much, Mr. Trebek! We're so lucky since you did our registration!" Rarity said.
"No, Miss Rarity! It's okay.."
"OH MY GOD, HE KNOWS ABOUT ME!" Rarity falls down.
"Okay, girls! See you on Saturday, 9:30 pm!"
"See you too!"
"Bye, girls!"
"Bye! Thank you so much!"
Trebek walks away.
"Yay! We got the registration straight! I'm so happy!" Rainbow said cheerily.
"But, thanks to you girls.."
"Why, Pinkie?" Twilight said.
"Because of you all made my dream possible..."
The mares hugged Pinkie. That made a pleasant thing for the Mane 6, which let them into the famous show, Jeopardy.
Saturday, the day when Pinkie Pie had the chance to compete in the famous game show of Equestria, Jeopardy! She was pretty too much excited to play the game, as she was overjoyed to play so. The day when Pinkie failed to register once got registered in the game by the show's host, Alex Trebek. The mares were walking through the hallway to the show, but suddenly Alex Trebek stops them.
"Hello, girls! Nice to meet you on this day of your first play." Alex Trebek greeted.
"It's nice to meet you too!" Twilight said happily.
"But, girls... Alex Trebek rhymed! That means.. he's like Zecora?" Rainbow Dash said in surprise.
"No! I'm not Zecora! Mostly a zebra, understood?" Trebek replied.
"Um... okay?"
"Very well then, now.. ahem.. the game show's about to start so, get ready to answer the right. Are you ready?"
"YEAH!" All cried in unison.
"But, girls. A short advice."
"W-what is it, Trebek?" Pinkie Pie questioned.
"There can be only three contestants in the game. Who wants to join actually?"
"MOSTLY ME!" Pinkie raised her hoof.
"Fine! Pinkie's chosen. Anybody else?" Trebek raises his one brow.
"Um, I want to join because, I never watched the show before but, I feel those topics are just based on studies! Heh heh..." Twilight said.
"Um, Princess Twilight? There will be different topics chosen by the studio. Not based on studies and all."
"Oh! Okay then.. get ready to bear the insult..." Twilight shook her head.
"One seat left! Who wants to pick their name?"
"Me! Choose me! Rainbow Dash!" Rainbow said.
"No! Choose me!" Applejack said after.
"No! Me!"
"CHOOSE ME!"
"Girls, STOP!" Twilight screamed. "You all would stop fighting, would you?"
"Um, I'll not to there because.. I-I'm just too embarrassed to answer a question..." Fluttershy said.
"Don't worry, darling! I'll join then." Rarity said Trebek to put her name on the seat.
"Okay! All of the seats were chosen. Oh! The show has started broadcasting! You all better need to get on your positions before people will think you all are invisible contestants.
"Okay, Trebek! We all know!" Pinkie said.
"All the best, guys!" The others said in unison except the contestants.
"Thanks, guys!" The contestants said in unison.
"Okay, girls! Now.. get ready to play some, Jeopardy!" Trebek cries.
"YEAH!" All cried in unison.

"Ooh! We're sorry to say but, this is the end of the game. But, we're going to do a final Jeopardy! Right after this break."

"You did good playing there girls!" Alex Trebek said.
"Thank you!" All said in unison.
"Now... it's time for the final Jeopardy so please be ready!"
"We will!" Twilight said.
(After the break, the Jeopardy! theme starts again)
"Hello, and welcome back after the break! We have our three contestants who are waiting for their final Jeopardy question, and it's the time!" Alex greets the audience again and then announces to start the final Jeopardy.
"Wait!" Pinkie stops the host Alex Trebek to start the final Jeopardy.
"What happened, Pinkie? Is there something wrong?"
"Yes, Alex. But, I am okay with the show but, after I have done the final Jeopardy, I'll remember that I came her in the show because of my friends and you especially. I have to go home but, I thank you that you entertained us by asking questions that really laughs the audience. Thank you so much.."
"N-no, Pinkie! It's okay! You can register anytime by asking me. I'm always with your side."
"Thank you.. and thank you, too friends.."
The other mares smile at Pinkie.
"Ahem! Now.. we will go through the final Jeopardy. The final Jeopardy category is:

"Aw man! But, it was sure that fun!"
"Now, Princess Twilight! Let's see what you wrote down:"

"But, I listen to this song everyday.. and your waiter was:

"Now, Miss Rarity! Our final contestant to see it's podium. Let's see what you wrote down:

"Because, Trebek.. her anger makes me so scared for a young beautiful lady like here."
"But, Applejack's your friend too, right?"

"But, let's see what's your waiter, here":

Applejack sees Rarity with bloodshot eyes, staring at her, making Rarity creeping out and gulps.
"Okay, but that's all for today for Celebrity Jeopardy, and I hope you enjoyed today. Thanks for coming.."

After the show, the mares enjoyed a lot. After that, they met Alex Trebek again.
"Hello, girls.."
"Hey, Trebek!" All said in unison.
"How was the show?"
"Awesome!" Rainbow said excitedly.
"Well, I hope you do.. Well, I need to go in hurry.. bye girls!"
"Bye!"
Alex Trebek leaves.
"This day was awesome!" Fluttershy screamed.
All looked at Fluttershy wide. It makes Fluttershy uncomfortable but soon after they all laugh.
"Thank you, girls.." Pinkie said.
"For what, Pinkie?" Twilight replied.
"For you all to attend the show.."
"No, Pinkie! It's okay! We do all love to enjoy you when you were here playing the game! " Rarity said.
"But, still... this is what I wanted... true friends who did this to me..." Pinkie shed tears.
"Oh.. Pinkie..." All said sans Pinkie.
The mares hugged Pinkie for comfort. Pinkie made this as her best moments for going to the show first time. And a true friend has the ability to do this. The camera goes up to the night sky, showing the moon as well, screen fading black.
