//------------------------------// // Chapter 15 // Story: Equestria Super Powered Pony League // by Creativa-Artly01 //------------------------------// Five days after her daughter is born, Evergreen returns with baby Rose Gold in tow, to the Hall. There, she is greeted by all her friends. She shares hugs with all of them. She can't help but agree that she's glad to be back. Today, thankfully, is one of the League's quieter days too. There are no villains running around begging for blood, everything is peaceful. Meanwhile, all her friends goo and ga over the foal. Canary and Wonder Mare even get chances to hold her as well. Everypony can definitely agree that Rose Gold is a little cutie. The foal just coos all the while as Evergreen smiles at her. She considers herself so lucky that her daughter is so chill with all the attention she is receiving. Golden even gives the little filly a gift, it's a little teddy bear in a superhero cape which the foal takes with open hooves and begins to cuddle with with a smile spread across her face from ear to ear. Everypony else then proceeds to give the little filly gifts as well of everything from wunzies to booties to blankets to even more toys. Radiance even made her a cutie ensemble of a dress, booties, and hat, all matching. All the while, Evergreen looks on with a smile at her smiling daughter. A few hours later, Evergreen and Rose Gold leave for the afternoon with all the gifts in tow. Her daughter is going to be spoiled someday but she doesn't care. A few minutes later, after stopping by the store, they arrive at home. Once at home, Evergreen puts Rose Gold in her playpen then unloads all the groceries. Meanwhile at his work, Evergreen's husband Colton is busy working on a major newspaper for his boss J. Jonah Pony. As he works, all he can think about is his daughter to the point he can't even really focus. He goes and gets some coffee, which helps him focus and get the paper done. He then sends it off to publishing, relieved that it is finally finished. He then slips back in his seat and sighs a sigh of relief. Now, he can think about his wife and daughter as much as he pleases as he continues drinking his coffee and working on a short column for the Sunday Paper's Think About It section. It's his favorite thing to do for the paper, so he does it with a smile on his face. Back at their house, Evergreen gets to work on one of her poems she's been working on for awhile now. She hopes to turn all her poems into a book to publish someday. She works on the poem while keeping an eye on Rose Gold at the same time. She just smiles at the filly as she works on the poem. A few moments later, she sees her daughter drift off to sleep. She can truly agree everything is perfect and she'd have it no other way.
