Oh god explaining this to her.......my ass is still killing me.....and Kei just stood there laughing as she beat me......hehe......at least Pure held back....
I land a perfect bullseye on one of the griffons killing him instantly and soon start dodging bullets fired from nearby marauders around the dead one and soon start returning fire.
“And I thought things that had perfect swiftness, guile, and the ability to fly had the accuracy to shoot direct hits all the time!” as I say this they all get mad and start shooting all they had at me which was stupid as they run out of ammunition within two minutes until they send in ones with speared guns that had the ability to launch an electric shock “WHERE THE HELL DO YOU GET THESE KINDS OF THINGS IN THIS WORLD I MEAN SERIOUSLY?!”
Thankfully despite the deadly weaponry the griffons using it had terrible use of it as their anger blindly made them fire wildly, inaccurately, and horribly timed as I made most of them zap, stab, and shoot their own comrades.
“Ha I guess corruption destroys your mind enough to spastically shoot your own comrades on the field of battle.
I use every marauder to my advantage as most of them become useful meatshield.
“Hey ugly over here!” I duck behind a unsuspecting marauder as I say this and another ends up blowing his brains out while I stay behind the headless body and I repeat this process four more times with much more tormenting insults.
With that they grow more angry lowering their guards long enough for me to shoot more of them down and soon twenty-five are dead.
“You griffons need more focus amongst yourselves.....how the hell are you even a threat to the outsiders anyway....” As I say this a dark voice speaks up, but I can make it out that its a female speaking “MARAUDERS LINE UP AND STAND BY FOR BATTLE!”
I look over to see a green colored dragon cladded in dark armor, and she was the same size as Clawfang, but not the same age....clearly this one was a teenager dragon.
“So I take it you’re the one leading these pathetic meatheads?” I say to the dragon girl ”Yep they may have a temper that causes them to lose all coordination, but thats why I’m here, and hey you would need a leader to if your brain was completely deteriorated causing destructive movements when unsupervised.”
“Fair enough, but enough on discussions with your troops and onward with the fight.”
As I say this she jumps back and orders the remaining griffons to battle on “LINE HALT AND OVERWHELM HIM NOW!”
“That doesn’t sound like a friendly order to hug me......”
With that given command the marauders started closing in on me and as I try to shoot them I soon notice I am out of ammo “Not good...” I say as they get even closer to me.
“Ruby come on please I need your help here now!” as I say this a couple of marauders grab my legs and stop my movement cold “Please man this is no time to screw around!” they latch on my torso and arms leaving only my head free “Seriously if you are here I need you to help me stop them!” they start closing in for my head “IF YOU ARE TRYING TO SCREW AROUND WITH ME CHOOSE A DIFFERENT TIME CAUSE NOW IS NOT THE TIME FOR A JOKE!” one marauder dives on me “Ruby...” another dives on stops my air flow “Ruby!” one more stopping the sounds I can hear from the outside “RUBY?!” a final one stopping my screams from being heard.
“BARON?” Pure shouts from Clawfangs area which has Clawfang following with “It seems that Baron has taken his final breath” and as he says this a rumbling fills the room causing him to speak up again “What the....” is all he says as most of the floor opens up revealing lava around the area where the marauders were on top of me.
“GET OFF ME YOU USELESS SACKS OF LIFE!” me and Ruby shout in unison as the marauders get blasted off of us in a cartoon type manner into lava “HAHA IT SEEMS WE NOW HAVE TEN SERVINGS OF EXTREMELY FRIED GRIFFON FOR DINNER!”
With thirty-five dead it just leaves fourteen griffons and the dragon “NOW TO FINISH WHAT’S LEFT!” the remaining griffons stupidly rush at me “Think you can handle them Ruby.” I say towards the spirit that had finally awaken inside my mind “Are you kidding this is nothing but child’s play!”
I clutch one of the griffon’s heads in my hands the my arm ignites on fire with the griffon and I soon toss the burning griffon on a group of his comrades igniting them as well and I jump in front of a griffon who froze from the sight of the burning marauders and I thrust my arm through him with his heart now in my hand which was now coming out of his back.
“Oh i’m sorry....did you need this?” I say towards the dying marauder “Well i’m afraid that this is no longer usable.......i’m dreadfully sorry....LET ME GET RID OF IT FOR YOU!” as I say this I crush the heart and pull my arm out of the dead griffon that falls on the floor.
Now that just leaves ten of them with the griffons trembling in their armor, but the dragon standing there still processing the sudden rage and power I had just acquired “Well since you are not going to make a move.....I’LL TAKE MY TURN THEN!” I lunge in and forcefully shove a griffon into the lava pool then I grab a nearby griffon and do the same while another marauder jumps head on at me only to hook him with my red arm into the lava “Man if this were Left 4 Dead I so would have earned the achievement Hunter Punter.”
“Come on you are making this too easy.....and you are supposed to be the brains of this group aren’t you?” I say towards the dragon angering her greatly “You think I need these brainless idiots...as if!” with that said she claws and incinerates the remaining griffons “Now try killing me blondie!” she says towards me after disposing of her group “DON’T INSULT MY HAIR COLOR!” I grab her and lift her over my head “BATHE IN LAVA YOU SCUM!” with that said I throw her in the lava which was a stupid mistake as she rises from the pool of lava “Of course with you being a dragon that would be a daily thing for you......I am an idiot....”
“Yes you are....NOW PERISH!” with that she breathes fire and stirs lava waves in an attempt to melt me of the platform “Sorry but bathing in lava isn’t a thing I do normally and don’t plan on doing sometime soon so good luck trying to burn me missie!”
She dives back into the pool of lava swimming around to another edge of the arena and tries to do the same thing again and she repeats this process over and over “God I need to get out of her sight, but how....”
With all hope starting to fade I soon take another look at the bodies that were still left on the platform....they weren’t sanitary, but they could provide cover, and I really didn’t have much of a choice at the time “Well I hope this works!” as I say this I shove a few bodies together and hide within them as soon as another pool of lava and fire rushes across the floor and the dragon resurfaces only to see nothing but her fallen comrades “Well looks like I finally got him!” she jumps onto the platform and shakes off the lava then stands in the center of the platform “Guess I win this challenge hahaha!” I jump from the bodies making a loud sound in which she quickly turns around “WHERE ARE YOU?!” is all she manages to say before I reappear “RIGHT BEHIND YOU!” I insert my arm through her back, but it doesn’t go all the way through her due to her scales, but that was not my plan anyway “So you dragons don’t get burn from the outside....BUT HOW DO YOU FARE FROM INCINERATION COMING FROM WITHIN!” with that said my arm burst into flames igniting her insides which cause her to scream in agony as she slowly starts to disintegrate from within.
“Well Ruby this is something I find undermining your true abilities.” I say towards Ruby who's in control of my arm that was killing off the dragon girl “Really...i’m going all out here with your body not mine so it means that you’re dragging me back..” Ruby says in defense “Well then forget I said anything and lets just finish off this dragon!”
I pull my arm out only to see a fountain of blood take its place within the hole in her back and soon I pick up the dazed slowly dying dragon and toss her in the lava having it seep in the hole in her back burning her even more from within finishing her off permanently.
“Glad to have you back Ruby, but why did you come at such a late time...” I say towards him “I’ll tell you later, but for now...” with that said he connects our minds once again “WHO ELSE WILL YOU SEND FOR ME TO SLAUGHTER CLAWFANG.....I CAN BRING I CAN TAKE ON ANYONE HERE FOR THE THIRD PART OF MY CHALLENGE!”
“That is your third challenge already, but with what I just saw.......who will I send to face you.....” is all Clawfang manages to say until someone speaks up “You got a big mouth blondie, but if you managed to shut up Clawfang then I guess I should intervene to see why you were enough to do so....yeah....I’LL BE YOUR CHALLENGER FOR YOUR FINAL CHALLENGE!”
As I look up I see a griffon who was at least four or five inches bigger then me and the crowd goes ballistic and shout his name for choosing to fight me “GO GALE GO!” is all they shout in unison repeatedly and with that I take the lift up and once again go into Clawfangs room.
“Well to get Gale into a fight with a newcomer.....I must say you proved your metal boy.....but I doubt you’ll stay long with that training gun.”Clawfang says to me after witnessing the current events that took place just now “yep you’ll need one of our guns.”
“I thought I needed to clear all the challenges first?” I say towards him “True, but given the conditions of you fighting a strong and well known fighter i’ll make an exception for you.....come follow me to the mech room where we can get you better equipped.”
“What happened to Pure?”
“Oh she passed out after she saw you tormenting the marauders when they were all on top of you.”
I follow Clawfang into a deeper part of the building and the scenery changed from ancient ruins to a mechanical future type area “What the hell........” as I finish the sentence Clawfang speaks up “Surprised....don’t be there are many types of metal and ore alongside other material that allow all this to be possible....alongside our engineers and the marauders we can build things like these even more amazing things that you would only see to dream.......this is why it’s only located here...”
“Wow that’s.....incredible.....anyway I just saw you pass many doors that have symbols signifying it’s a mechanic room...why didn’t you go in one of them?” I say towards the dragon “Because i’m taking you to see our best mechanic...she is a bit flighty however.....and never leaves her station as she prefers to stay working on different machines improving them....and one particular machine that is broken beyond repair, yet she still attempts to get it up and running again.”
“Then how does she know whats going on in the city and buildings?”
“She installed cameras everywhere.....anything that is happening around the area she will see it.....creepy if you ask me......”
“What’s her name?” I ask with a response added almost immediately “Her name is Kei and here we are.....i’ll leave you to get your weapon...”
“Wait you not staying?”
“No she will already know what you will be there for.....at least I hope she knows given she wasn’t on the machine again during the fight....oh and one more thing....if she is on that machine....don’t look at her....trust me....” he says in a voice that that tempts me to do the opposite “Why not...” i say which he responds just to shut me up “Look i’m trying to save you from an embarrassing moment.....but if you don’t want to listen then do whatever you want....good luck.”
Clawfang walks off leaving me alone, and with that I enter the room
“Ruby since we’re alone now mind telling me... WHY THE HELL YOU TOOK SO LONG IN HELPING ME BACK THERE?”
“Simple....I enjoy being “fashionably” late to things...including fights!” after he finishes I respond angrily with “NEXT TIME DO THAT WHEN THE STAKES AREN’T SO HIGH IDIOT!”
“Fine then didn’t think you would get so angry....but at least you should know that all that fighting and rage came from you....I can’t do much using your body given my current form so all I can do is awaken one percent of your full capabilities....seeing as I once worked for discord I saw the things he is capable of and managed to give some of that to you....but not enough for either of us to work with.”
“I didn’t think such a thing was possible...”
“Believe it boy.”
We carry on walking and soon start to hear whistling and as I approach the source I see its a female unicorn who was working on a strange machine...her head was inside it with several tools attempting to fix the machine....all the while she was shaking her backside in a swaying hypnotic motion in tune to the song she was whistling to.
“Baron you alright?”
“Can’t.........stop.........staring.........to.......hypnotic........help......me....”
My eyes were glued at the sight and now more then ever I wished they weren’t as for a split second her tail flew an inch higher from the swaying exposing a much more private area from her “Oh god I wish I could unsee that!”
She immediately turned around after hearing me say that “W-What.....”

With all restraint gone she throws a wrench hoping for it to hit and all the while time feels like it is slowing down.
“How do I get myself into these situations....”
