“Chapter 4: Backs against the Wall”
Intro: Everybody Wants To Rule The World (Lorde version):
Canterlot Castle, Equestria, Planet Harmony; the next day
“I don’t believe it! We got our flanks handed to us!” Rainbow Dash shouted.
“Rainbow! All of us did, both at the hands of that dirty varmit Rita and her new Green Ranger! On top of that, there were rock freaks adding more trouble sugarcube!” Applejack said with anger.
Zack approached and spoke, “Easy ladies, arguing won’t help us defeat the Green Ranger or Rita. We’re just as bummed out as the rest of you.”
“What he said! We never faced another Ranger like that let alone one that is a freaking Alicorn! She was a tough opponent, but what I learned in my time as a football player is to never let a loss determine our future.” Jason said with a calm voice.
It was then that Billy once again in his normal clothing came to the two mares and his two teammates with something on his mind that had been bothering him ever since he spoke to Princess Luna about why the ponies of Canterlot looked at his friends and himself with distaste as he soon spoke up.
“Uh guys, I think I might have an idea of who could be the Green Ranger.”
“Who?” Pinkie Pie asked.
Billy then spoke up, “Ever since we arrived here, I’ve noticed that of the four Alicorns that are here who are Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, Princess Cadence, and Princess Twilight Sparkle, the fourth one wasn’t present when we came to Canterlot that tells me that Twilight Sparkle could be the Green Ranger.”
“Oh no! Twilight would never be that evil! That’s not her!” Fluttershy shouted.
It was then that Shining Armor spoke, “The could be a clue as I saw Twily wearing a green shirt earlier for some reason before she ran off to only where Faust knows…”
Kimberly then appeared to the group and decided to tell everyone where Twilight was as she had recently spotted the mare in question and thought her teammates and her new friends needed to hear it as she soon enough spoke up.
“I think I might have found her; in the Royal Guards training room.”
Just before they left, Flash Sentry came stumbling in with an ice pack over his crotch for some reason looking a bit shocked and embarrassed as Kimberly soon spoke to the stallion.
“What happened to you?”
Flash then spoke, “Last night…Twilight was…the stallion…”
At that instant, Rainbow Dash along with Applejack and Fluttershy all blushed brightly upon realizing what that stallion meant; he had sex with Twilight and she was the dominate one in that act.
“Um, Flash Sentry…did I hear you right? Did you have sex with my sister?!”
That voice belonged to none other than Shining Armor who despite have a few bandages on him and clad in a hospital gown looked rather unhappy at the stallion now known as Flash Sentry who began to scratch his mane with nervousness as the rest of the Power Rangers and the Main 6 came in along with Cadence.
Shining Armor was just about to deck Flash Sentry, but thankfully Cadence stepped in and managed to talk Shining Armor down and then turned her attention to the Royal Guard whom she then spoke to him calmly.
“Now Flash, tell us what happened to warrant an ice pack on your crotch?”
Flash Sentry then spoke, “It happened last night after I had gotten back from visiting friends in the Crystal Empire that I wanted to stop by a jewelry store to buy an engagement ring for Twilight when I noticed when I arrived that it was destroyed, at least the one I wanted to go to as I did find another one. After getting the ring, I tried to find and locate Twilight that after no luck finding her due to the battle that happened yesterday, I went back to my apartment here in Canterlot where I found her waiting for me in the most naughty of lingerie as if she was reading my mind.”
“Well considering that you two were secretly dating, something tells me I shouldn’t be surprised, but continue on Flash.” Cadence said.
“Where was I? Oh yeah, after being surprised by her sudden appearance and form, the next thing I know is that she pulls me close, strips naked, and pushes me onto my bed and ordered me to strip naked as well as then, we made love, but with her being the dominate one and nearly breaking the piece that makes me a stallion. The strange thing was that her eyes went from purple to green to purple back again seconds later that when were finished, I felt less joy and more of feeling violated. Sure we had sex before and wearing protection for added measure, but this wasn’t the normal Twilight I know and love. That’s all I know and if you will excuse me all, I need some help for my burned out rod…” Flash Sentry said with a whimper.
As the group left, in another part of Canterlot Castle, Princess Celestia sighed in frustration as she read how many Royal Guards were killed and how the Traditionalists were pinning the blame for the recent events on the Power Rangers despite the fact that the heroes from Earth were trying to help Equestria.
Alpha 5 via the transmission device noticed her frustration and decided to speak to her in an effort to help her out and to try to calm her down over the growing problem with the Traditionalists.
“Your highness, you should get some rest like a nap or something as a lack of sleep isn’t good for you.”
Princess Celestia then spoke, “I know that Alpha 5, but over a dozen Royal Guards dead is something that can be idly dismissed as these ponies had families and friends.”
It was then that Princess Luna came in with a look that spoke of something that she had just found out and wasn’t liking it all, not one bit as she then asked Alpha 5 to gather all of the Power Rangers at once in the Royal Throne room.
On the other hand, the surviving Royal Guards including the Night Guard were keeping themselves at a great distance as they saw Princess Twilight Sparkle working out with a set of weights while clad in black sweat pants, green tank-top, fingerless gloves, and gray running shoes.
Once Twilight was finished with her set, she walked over to a punching bag and began to aggressively punch it like no tomorrow as Jason’s team, the rest of the Mane 6, Cadence, Spike, and Shining Armor came in.
“And here I thought I ah’ was a hard working pony…” Applejack said.
“Big deal, I do stuff like this all the time AJ.” Rainbow Dash said seconds later.
Shining Armor walked over to Twilight in an attempt to try and see if the suspicion that Twilight Sparkle was in fact the Green Power Ranger being used by Rita Repulsa and soon enough, spoke to her.
“Twily, we need to talk now…”
Twilight snorted and spoke, “I’m not a little filly anymore so buzz off…”
“Mom, we’re worried about you…” Spike said.
“There’s nothing to be worried about, as for why I wasn’t present for when those so-called Power Rangers showed up, I was busy with other matters…” Twilight said firmly.
Rainbow Dash then spoke, “Like what? Choosing to not to make me a Wonderbolt still?! I am worthy to be one!”
“No you are not Rainbow Crash or should I say Rainbow Drunk Ass? Those mediocre Wonderbolts are worthless and weak, just like the Royal Guards who couldn’t defend Canterlot properly against those rock creatures or Rita.” Twilight said.
Twilight’s comments enraged Rainbow Dash that she tried to hit Twilight only for Twilight to all of a sudden slap Rainbow Dash hard on the face sending the speed demon pony to the ground while Twilight glared at her with contempt.
“Twilight darling, that’s enough!” Rarity said with growing anger.
“Oh really? Maybe you should spend less time worrying about good looks and being a member of those Canterlot snobs and more of doing something useful, then would you be a better pony rather than a damn drama queen.” Twilight said with anger.
If it wasn’t for the seriousness of the situation, everyone would’ve laughed at the last bit, but not today as Twilight soon left the area and to the showering area leaving her friends, adopted son, Jason’s team, her brother, and her sister-in-law in shock.
Moments later, Princess Celestia appeared and saw that the attempt to talk to Twilight had failed and that things were not looking good as she then spoke moments later.
“My little ponies and guests, meet me in the Royal Throne Room now!”
She quickly teleported everyone near her instantly to the throne room where Princess Luna was waiting for them along with to their surprise, Alpha 5 while the device that linked the Power Rangers back to the Command Center was still operating with Zordon looking very concerned.
“Zordon, Alpha 5, what is it?” Billy asked.
“I’m afraid we now know of who is the Green Ranger…everyone….pay attention to what Princess Luna has to show right now.” Zordon said grimly.
Princess Luna nodded and spoke, “As the princess of the Night, it is my duty to visit ponies in their dreams or any other creature that is within reach to ensure they sleep well at night. However, last night I found something disturbing; a green energy holding me back from entering the dream realm of Twilight Sparkle. When I touched it, I found out who was the Green Ranger and a nasty message from Rita Repulsa telling me to stay out of her way or I die.”
With her magic, Princess Luna created a magical projection of a pony’s face that at first was blurry, but it soon eventually cleared up and it showed who was the Green Ranger; Twilight Sparkle.
“It is with my heavy heart that I share to you all the news; Princess Twilight Sparkle is none other than the Green Ranger who nearly killed all of those who tried to kill her in her sleep including Gallant Heart.” Princess Luna said with her head low.
The reaction in the room was at first pure silence like it was so quiet, a pin could be dropped. But then it morphed into shock and disbelief from the other bearers of the elements of Harmony to the Power Rangers and sadly, Twilight’s family as their reactions were quick to be known.
“WHAT?!”
“TWILIGHT’S THE GREEN RANGER?”
“No! It can’t be real!”
“This has to be a bad joke!”
“My baby sister…is the Green Ranger…being controlled by this Rita?!”
Rarity then spoke, “Of all the worse things that could happen to Twilight, this…is…the…WORST…POSSIBLE…THING!”
Seconds later, Rarity fainted in a drama queen fashion while muttering why a lot that if it wasn’t for the situation, it would’ve been comical. If it could get worse, Night Light and Twilight Velvet along with Flash Sentry came in where they learned the grim news themselves.
In spite of all of the drama going on, Trini stepped forward and decided to ask Zordon and the Royal Sisters one question that everyone had on their minds.
“How do you all expect us to stop her? She is an Alicorn and magical at best.”
Before anyone could respond, a deep and evil laughter was heard around the Throne Room as everyone looked around to find the source of the laughter as Zordon knew it was Rita as he spoke out quickly.
“Show yourself Rita! You don’t need to hide!”
Rita didn’t respond, but rather she appeared right above the heads of everyone involved as if she was casually enjoying herself while lounging in the chandelier before she made herself known as she then spoke.
“I’m not bothering to hide as fun as it would be to beat you pathetic worms again, I’ll let my Green Ranger take care of you all instead!”
Rita then teleported away as the doors the Throne Room were blown away and standing before them all was none other than the Green Ranger who then spoke to the assembled group.
“Ready for round two Rangers? I could say the same to those ponies as well!”
Jason stepped forward and spoke, “We know who you are Green Ranger! You’re Princess Twilight Sparkle of Equestria and the one who uses the Element of Magic!”
“Yeah! Don’t you realize that Rita is only using you for your power that when she is done with you, she’ll kill you? If you really are a Power Ranger, then you’d be fighting with us, not against us!” Kimberly shouted seconds later.
“She is my empress and you will all be history along with Zordon, those Royal Sister Dweebs, and those ponies as she will then rule all!” Twilight shouted.
Within seconds, the Power Rangers quickly morphed and all of them went to go fight the Green Ranger except for Jason who escorted the ponies out of the chamber quickly including a balling Twilight Velvet.
Once in a safer part of the castle, Jason then went to go and rejoin his teammates, but Twilight Velvet stopped him and made him look at her as she spoke to him.
“Free my daughter and kick that bitch Rita’s ass for me!”
Jason nodded and ran to go and help his teammates who were busy fighting the Green Ranger who were busy with the Green Ranger as Twilight sent Billy flying into Princess Luna’s throne smashing it in the process as Jason’s Power Sword formed and thus, he clashed blades with Twilight.
The two rangers clashed and traded blows with each other as on the other hand safely away from the action on Earth, Zordon spoke to Alpha 5 about something important for the Power Rangers.
“Alpha, it is time the other rangers received their weapons and their sidearm weapons.”
Alpha 5 then spoke, “You mean…the Power Daggers, the Power Bow, the Power Axe, and the Power Lance? Not to mention…the Blade Blasters?”
“YES! Send them now!” Zordon shouted.
With a few commands, Alpha 5 sent the weapons to Equestria where they appeared before the Royal Sisters as Zordon then sent a message to tell them to give them to the Power Rangers.
Princess Luna then used her magic to don on her armor that was similar to the Night Guard, but customized to her form and grabbed the weapons before she headed to the Power Rangers before her sister could stop her.
On the other hand, the fight against the Green Ranger wasn’t looking good as the team were blasted into the dining room of the castle and were at the mercy of the ranger under Rita’s control.
“Had enough?” Twilight asked.
Before she could move, Princess Luna then tackled her before she came to a stop a short distance from the Green Ranger and turned to the Power Rangers as she then quickly spoke up.
“Your mentor Zordon has thy gifted thy rest of thy Power Rangers with their tools!”
Quickly the Power Rangers each got their Blade Blasters that at first glance looked like silver-red clubs, soon morphed into guns when the Power Rangers held them for a split second before the holstered them in their new holsters on the left sides of their waists.
Seconds later, Zack got his Power Axe, Trini got her Power Daggers, Kimberly got her Power Bow, and Billy got his Power Lance as they only had a few moments to soak it all in before Princess Luna joined them in their fight against the Green Ranger.
“New toys and a new friend won’t stop me or my empress!” Twilight shouted.
“Please Twilight, you’re being controlled like how Chrysalis controlled your brother! Snap out of it or I will be forced to stop you, permanently…” Princess Luna said somberly.
Twilight then charged forward only for her to be stopped by Kimberly’s new Power Bow that was silver and pink in color that looked like a hunter bow firing energy shots to make the Green Ranger stop.
“My turn!” Trini shouted.
Trini then deployed her Power Daggers that were similar to the daggers that nearly killed Twilight, but were smaller and more elegant while running like a speed demon to dodge the two strikes from Twilight’s blades that Rita had dubbed Blades of Darkness before she slashed at Twilight’s torso making her jolt in pain before Trini then returned to her team.
“You pests!” Twilight shouted.
Twilight then ran forward that prompted Billy to use his Power Lance for the first time that resembled a double-ended trident and block the first strike by Twilight’s blades before Billy then jumped over her to avoid the second strike and slash her across her back as the weapon was quickly charged up with blue energy before being used to send Twilight flying out towards the Canterlot Gardens.
“Did we win?” Billy asked.
“YOU ARE ALL DEAD!!” Twilight shouted as she got up.
Zack however ran towards Twilight with his new Power Axe that at first looked like a single-bladed axe, but then turned into a double-ended one as he caught her twin blades before he did a flip over her and used its gun mode to fire a few shots at her making her jump and fall to the ground.
“Now that’s how you deal with a crazy lady!” Zack shouted.
Jason then called Zack back as the team put their weapons together for a special attack as each of their weapons made up a part of the weapon that was the Power Blaster.
Zack and Kimberly went first followed as Zack’s weapon went first followed by Kimberly’s weapon attaching itself towards the front of the first barrel.
The next weapons to form the Power Blaster were Trini and Billy whom the latter’s weapon split into two weapons as Trini’s weapons made up the inner two barrels while Billy’s made up the outer barrels as Jason combined his Power Sword for the top part of the weapon.
“Power Blaster ready!” Jason shouted.
Within seconds with Princess Luna helping out with her magic, the group fired the Power Blaster knocking the Green Ranger out as a massive fireball erupted.
“Did we get her?” Zack asked.
Seconds later, the Green Ranger to everyone’s shock and horror just stood up and was rather very pissed off as Twilight then reached her left hand into the air and a dagger appeared.
“So, you want to play games huh? Well now, say hello to my Dragon Dagger and my Dragonzord!” Twilight shouted.
The Dragon Dagger looked similar to Trini’s Power Daggers, but had a dragon foot print in the hilt part and part of the weapon looked like a flute as seconds later, Twilight summoned the Dragonzord.
Moments later, the ground started to shake as a dark scream roared around Canterlot as the Dragonzord soon appeared out of the blue just outside of Canterlot.
Twilight then jumped up and landed on top of the head of the Dragonzord as the beast roared as it made its way into Canterlot as Rita then appeared and spoke to her.
“Now my Green Ranger, crush them!”
Within seconds the Dragonzord roared and fired a flamethrower into a few restaurants rated by Zesty Gourmand destroying them as ponies of Canterlot were fleeing as nearby in a hospital that was staring to be evacuated, an injured Prince Blueblood saw the massive beast and spoke to himself.
“Great, now that Green Ranger has a beast to help her destroy Equestria…could anything else get any worse?”
The Power Rangers on the other hand were not deterred by this as after getting into contact with Zordon, their zords were sent to Equestria to fight the Dragonzord.
After boarding their zords, the Power Rangers went to work as Kimberly flew around the Dragonzord strafing it while her friends surrounded it though they had to contend with the limited space of Canterlot as Zack accidentally knocked over a cabbage stand much to the dismay of its owner.
“Oh! My cabbages!”
Zack then quickly spoke, “Sorry about that sir!”
On top of her Dragonzord, Twilight played her Dragon Dagger a tune that caused its tail to whip out and knock aside Trini’s zord that went right into a shop owned by a few wealthy ponies, but shrugged it off as she then managed to get her zord to cling to the front of the Dragonzord before clawing on it.
Jason’s zord then tried to clamp on the tail of the Dragonaord only for him to be swung around by the tail and flung right in front of Canterlot castle.
Billy on the other hand used a weapon he once used on Rita that managed to distract the Dragonzord so Zack could fire on it from behind allowing Jason to get some shots in just as Trini was flung off of the Dragonzord, but thankfully Kimberly caught her.
Annoyed by the Power Ranger’s antics, Twilight played another tune from her Dragon Dagger that caused the Dragonzord to fire a blast of energy as seconds later, she fired missiles from the Dragonzord’s finger tips and the tips of its wings hoping to destroy the Power Rangers.
“That should-“
Twilight didn’t finish as the Power Ranger’s zords soon formed the Megazord much to the joy of the citizens of Canterlot as it then took a battle stance as Jason spoke to Twilight.
“Twilight, this is your last chance; surrender now or we will be forced to kill you.”
Charging forward, the Dragonzord flapped its wings as it then ran forward towards the Megazord as the Power Rangers braced for the attack as seconds later, they caught the rogue zord as it then started to wrap its tail around the Megazord before it the started to go up with the intent of dropping it.
“What the? Jason, did we go over aerial combat?” Billy asked.
“No, but we need to break free!” Jason shouted.
Then Trini spoke, “I got an idea!”
“Say it now as I’m not in the mood for flying!” Zack shouted.
“We fire our jets as we have our own right? Then we go straight up into the air, kick that Dragonzord into the mountain side, and then we go in for the kill.” Trini said.
After agreeing, the Megazord then fired its jets sending both zords higher into the air with Princess Luna following suit after them as Rita on the other hand was watching the whole action unfold from Pony Joe’s Doughnut shop though the shop was deserted after the battle had started.
“That’s right my Green Ranger, drop them and crush them!” Rita shouted.
It was in that moment during the battle and unknown to the Power Rangers, Amadeus Blueblood appeared before Rita and he sat down across from her not afraid of her as he then spoke to her.
“Excuse me, but could I trouble you for an alliance between us?”
Rita looked at him and spoke, “What could you possibly want from me you worthless creature?”
Amadeus then spoke to Rita of his plan to use Unicornia and the Traditionalists to usurp the Royal Sisters and Princess Cadence to allow his hidden Alicorn daughter Majesty Blueblood to rule at least when she was old enough as he would rule first before passing it down to her.
After hearing of it, Rita then looked at the unicorn noble and gave him a rather bored looked as she then spoke him while pointing her staff at him.
“Okay then, I agree in exchange you let me rule the universe and you stay out of my way.”
Amadeus nodded and spoke, “Also, could you get rid of my worthless son Vladimir Blueblood for me? He was supposed to kill that helot Twilight Sparkle, but he failed.”
Moments later, he left though unknown to him, Rita had her left hand behind her back with her fingers crossed as she saw him depart before she spoke to herself.
“Ha, ha, not on your life…”
On the other hand, the unexpected acceleration during the battle had thrown Twilight off as she was now barely hanging on forcing her into her zord’s cockpit that was the same as the cockpits for the Power Rangers only hers had green crystals while trying to figure out what was going on.
Seconds later, the Megazord kneed the Dragonzord in the groin area making it let go of the Power Rangers as the heroes then grabbed the Dragonzord and double-kicked it into a mountain before it then flew towards it in an attempt to finish it off.
That didn’t come to be as Rita soon appeared and using her staff, grabbed the Megazord leaving the Power Rangers in her grip as Rita then spoke to the heroes.
“Not a bad attempt Power Rangers, but I’m superior and by taking care of you, I’ll be able to get the Zeo Crystal with no trouble.”
“Oh no you don’t!”
Rita turned her head and to her surprise, the shout came from Princess Celestia with her mane and tail on fire looking very pissed off along with her sister Princess Luna and Princess Cadence all clad in battle armor before she was forced into letting go of the Power Rangers thanks to the Alicorn trio firing a magical blast at her knocking her aside.
Both Rita and her Green Ranger got up and were just about to retaliate when all of a sudden, Twilight stopped her as she came out of the Dragonzord and spoke to her.
“My empress, I just had a realization; there were a trio of sirens that used mind control that I faced against not too long ago, but we need to go through the Magical Mirror to find them first as with their help, we can win against those Power Rangers!”
Rita paused and then spoke, “Very clever my Green Ranger…”
Seconds later, Rita fired her staff at a bunch of buildings that forced the Alicorn trio and the Megazord to stop from crushing a group of civilians including foals from Celestia’s School for Gifted Unicorns as Rita along with her Green Ranger and Dragonzord fled the scene.
While the heroes were forced to stop pursuing Rita and her Green Ranger, the duo along with the Dragonzord arrived at the Crystal Empire and entered the Magical Mirror as the Dragonzord vanished into thin air before re-formed into a medallion around Twilight’s neck in case she needed it again.
On the other hand, the citizens of Canterlot were safe from Rita’s rampage, but were now scared at how vulnerable they were now as the Power Rangers were able to fend off Rita and her Green Ranger, but the question on everyone’s minds was how.
Arriving back to Canterlot Castle, the Power Rangers departed their zords and went straight to the Throne Room to talk with Zordon with concerned looks on their faces as to their surprise, they couldn’t contact him or Alpha 5.
“Great, how will we defeat her and the Green Ranger?” Billy asked.
“I can help with that…”
Everyone in the Throne Room turned to the source of the voice; Blueblood looking rather battered and clad in bandages as a pair of Royal Guards held him up.
“What do you want you arrogant fool?” Trini said.
Blueblood then was brought forth before the Power Rangers, the remaining bearers of the Elements of Harmony, Flash Sentry, Twilight’s parents, Shining Armor, Cadence, and the Royal Sisters as he then spoke of something that shook everyone to their core.
“I…I…I was responsible for the attempt on Twilight’s life! I did it so I could gain the love I’ve so craved from my father Amadeus Blueblood! I know where the Orichailcum came from; from the Pie Family’s Rock Farm as I pretended to love Marble Pie so I could get the location of the Orichailcum mine to gain the metal that would’ve been used to kill Twilight, but then Rita intervened and well, the rest is history. But the real mastermind behind the attempt on Twilight’s life was my dad! I was having doubts of it, but he made me go ahead of doing it!”
Then, silence entered the room that it became so quiet that one could hear a pin drop. Seconds later, Shining Armor walked over to Blueblood, punched him, and grabbed him by his throat as he then started to straggle the now traitorous prince as the husband of Cadence spoke in a furious voice.
“YOU SON OF A BITCH!!! I’LL KILL YOU!”
It wasn’t long before nearly everyone in the room wanted to kill Blueblood for his actions, but Princess Luna quickly stopped it by separating those who wanted to kill Blueblood as she then bonded him with cuffs as she then spoke to him in her Royal Canterlot Voice.
“PRINCE VLADIMIR BLUEBLOOD! FOR YOUR ACTS OF HIGH TREASON, I HERBY PLACE YOU UNDER ARREST WITH A RECOMMENDATION FOR DEATH!!! TAKE HIM AWAY GUARDS!!!”
Seconds later, Princess Celestia spoke, “DUE TO YOUR ACTIONS, THE PIE FAMILY IS NOW IN DANGER AND WILL BE IN MY CARE UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE TRAITOROUS NEPHEW!!! KEEP HIM UNDER GUARD UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE!!!”
As the guards had left with the traitorous prince, a note fell from his pocket in which Billy found it and read it before he realized what it was; it told of a metal that was of the same as what made their power coins including the Green Ranger one.
“Guys! Look at what he gave us! A chance for help!” Billy shouted with excitement.
Billy then handed the note to Pinkie Pie and the Royal Sisters as they then began to discuss first how to keep Pinkie Pie’s family safe from retaliation from the Progressives.
Moments later, Cadence then spoke of an idea that would seem radical and to many absurd and crazy that board line would be completely risky.
“What if we made our own Power Coin or Power Coins to create new Power Rangers to combat Rita and her Green Ranger?”
Everypony started to argue with Pinkie Pie brought out a large air horn and blasted the sound throughout the Throne Room and she then spoke to all present.
“Excuse me, my family has been put into danger by these Traditionalists and that damn Rita! We need every idea we can to win! My family knows of this metal for a long time as the earliest ancestors of ours, but never knew its value until today. These Power Rangers need every help we can get. For now, they need to continue to pursue Rita and free Twilight from her grip while we work on reinforcing what we have now in case she comes back. I may be a party pony, but I will not let my family be harmed by Rita or those Traditionalists!”
Nodding, Princesses Celestia and Luna disappeared for a moment and reappeared with Pinkie Pie’s family that were of the following: Igneous Rock Pie who was Pinkie Pie’s dad, Cloudy Quartz Pie otherwise known as Pinkie Pie’s mom, and her sisters; Maud Pie, Limestone Pie, and Marble Pie.
Maud Pie was just clad in dark turquoise frock dress meant for rock or geology stuff, black boots, black gloves, and had a dark gray hand bag that had various items including a pick axe. Her grayish purple mane and tail were flat and straight, her Persian bluish gray fur had a few dirt spots on various parts of her body, her cutie mark was a rock as evidenced by the mark on her hand bag, and her eyes of light turquoise despite being filled with stoicism had tints of fury in them.
Limestone Pie in sharp contrast to her older sister Maud and her sisters had as her light green eyes showed her fury at what had been exposed that now had her family being dragged into a mess as she was looking like she wanted to bust some heads.
The mare had an opalish gray fur coat, bluish gray mane and tail done in a rough tomboy style, her cutie mark was that of a lime fruit with a trio of rocks near it, and she sported the same dress as Maud though hers was a dark green gray color along with sporting the same color boots as her sister Maud minus the gloves.
Marble Pie on the other hand looked rather ashamed as she tugged the edge of her dark tan frock dress as she tried to hide behind her dark gray mane with dark green streaks that was also the same for her tail, her coat was that of a turquoise gray, she had simple dark brown boots, her cutie mark was that of three purple marbles, and had grayish violet eyes that were full of shame.
Igneous Rock Pie on the other hand was had simple black slacks with a white button dress shirt with black suspenders along with a skinny black tie and black shoes, he had gray mane with lighter gray along with his tail, he had amber eyes that were at the moment filled with worry and disappointment, he had a dark shade of amber for his coat, his cutie mark was that of a pick axe, and finally had a simple black hat with a gray stripe that was like that of the Amish
Finally, Cloudy Quartz Pie wore simple gray checkered dress that covered her whole body except her hooves along with her light gold granny glasses that hung from her face, her grayish opal mane was done in a bun though her tail was not, the mare’s cutie mark was that of three rocks, and her light artic blue were filled with anxiety.
The Pie family was formally introduced to the Power Rangers in which afterwards, Maud stepped forward and looked at the Power Coins that the Power Rangers had and spoke quietly.
“I recognize that type of rock; Sentai-ruckus for most of the coin. The gem is that of a similar one found near the Pie Family Rock Farm.”
“So are you some type of geologist or something?” Billy asked.
Maud just simply nodded in quiet fashion before she pulled out the materials needed to create a Power Coin though Limestone Pie spoke of the bad news.
“Bad news is that my sister Maud has only enough for one right now as the rest of the materials needed to make more could be taken by those blasted Traditionalists!”
“But the question is this; what creature will it be and who will use it?” Zack asked.
Princess Celestia grabbed the materials from Maud Pie, disappeared for a moment, and reappeared with the elements of Harmony as she then told of what she was planning to do next.
“Princess Cadence, my sister Luna, and if Discord is around, we need his help as well to create this new Power Coin that I’ve decided that Sunset Shimmer will use it.”
“Did somepony say my name?”
The voice belonged to Discord as soon enough, the being of Chaos appeared in all of his odd-balled glory as his red and yellow eyes looked at the Power Rangers before he started to take pictures of them while clad in what looked like a news reporter outfit.
“Discord! We have no time for this! And where were you when Twilight became the Green Ranger?!” Princess Celestia said sternly.
It was while he was frozen still by Princess Celestia’s stern warning did the Power Rangers get a good look at Discord; he had the head of a pony that had a yellow amber gray color with a black mane or dark gray, a dark grayish reddish brown body for the midsection of his body while his tail had was a moderate amaranth with a white tip.
The rest of Discord was a mess; two horns on his head that were of a gray deer horn while the other was a blue goat one, his left arm was that of an eagle, his right arm was that of a lion, his left leg was that goat, his right leg was a dragon-like lizard, and finally his back had tiny pink spikes that started at his mid-back ending at the tip of his tail that also had him sport a pair of wings though one looked like a bat-type while the other looked like that of a Pegasus one.
“Whoa, he looks like a Chimera.” Zack said.
Discord heard the comment and teleported right by Zack’s side and pulled him up into the air so he would be face to face with him before the spirit of Chaos spoke to him.
“For your information, I happen to be a Draconequus. Though I must admit I’ve never seen creatures like you before except in comics, television series, and two crappy films; one set in MMPR and the other in Turbo…Looks like you are all different types.”
“Discord! We need your magic to help create a new Power Coin!” Princes Luna said sternly.
Discord got excited and started to move around the Throne Room in joy that would’ve escalated further if not for the stern gazes of everyone in the room that made him stop and he went to the Royal Sisters and Cadence that before they got started, Cadence then spoke to Discord.
“Where were you when Rita first attacked and the following attack by her and her Green Ranger?”
Discord shrugged and spoke, “Oh I was preoccupied…”
“With what?” Rainbow Dash asked.
“Making toast! Followed by buttering toast with Mr. Popo!” Discord said with joy.
“Wait, what?” Shining Armor asked.
Everyone decided not to dwell on it as moments later, the princesses and Discord using their magic along with the elements of Harmony to transform the materials that Maud had brought as a bright, white light bathed the materials as seconds later, a Power Coin was formed.
“The good news is that you have a new Power Coin! Bad news though is that you need to connect it to your Morphing Grid or something as it is not fully charged up.” Discord said.
“Why? Shouldn’t it had been connected?” Kimberly asked.
“The answer is simple, it takes a lot of energy to form matter into a Power Coin and just the same amount if not more are needed to charge it thus allowing it to connect to the Morphing Grid. When that amount of magic is found, only then will it connect to the Morphing Grid allowing it to charge up and whoever has it can morph.” Princess Celestia said.
Princess Luna then spoke, “She says this along with Discord is that…Tia and I’s mother Queen Faust was the one who originally forged the Power Coins you all thy have, but most are sadly either lost or destroyed now along with her.”
This revelation threw the Power Ranger for a loop as how their Power Coins were forged as Princess Celestia then spoke next to tell the heroes something else.
“After Zordon’s team fell, our mother vowed to never again make Power Coins that could cause others to become Power Rangers that she left our world and never returned due what she saw was her failure with that team.”
“But we’re different from them! We’ve managed to defeat her once, we can do it again that we just need to keep on trying and never giving up! We will free Twilight and save not only this world, but ours as well.” Jason said with determination.
Everypony saw how Jason and his team stood together firmly determined not to give up and not to give in that gave the Equestrians hope that things could be made right again.
Cadence then spoke, “Then you Power Rangers need to come with Shiny and I to the Crystal Empire to where Sunset Shimmer is at while my aunts will send the coin to her.”
“Wait a minute, why her? Isn’t she someone you would never want to be a Power Ranger?” Trini asked skeptically.
Princess Celestia then spoke, “Once, she craved power like Rita, but thanks to Twilight, I believe she deserves a second chance of doing something good. And she’s gotten better after she and Twilight defeated the Dazzles not too long ago. We all make mistakes, but we can be capable of good if we let Friendship into our hearts. One recent example is Starlight Glimmer that speaking of which, does she know about what has happened Cadence?”
“Oh, she’s on her honeymoon in Manehatten with Sunburst though I’m sure I sent her a letter of it, but she hasn’t replied back.” Cadence said with a blushing smile.
“Likely due to you having something to do with her getting knocked up by Sunburst thanks to you meddling in their relationship resulting in a shotgun wedding much to the chagrin of their respective set of parents and the subsequent honeymoon sweetie.” Shining Armor said while shaking his head.
Cadence blushed deeply and spoke, “Hey now! I thought they could use a little push after not seeing each other for so long sheesh!”
“Oh ho now, this is something that would be on Jerry Springer! Jerry! Jerry! Jerry!” Zack shouted.
“Zack focus! Your highness, you send the coin to this Sunset Shimmer and warn her while we make our way to her. If worse comes to worse, we’ll have a lot more trouble on our hands….” Jason said.
After that was done, the Power Rangers along with their zords teleported away with Cadence and Shining Armor just as the link to Zordon was reestablished as the mentor of the Power Ranger spoke up.
“What happened? All Alpha and I know was that one minute we’re in contact with all of you, next minute that blasted Rita fired our link. Is that Green Ranger still out there?”
“Yes she is along with Rita, but we have some good news; we’ve managed to create a new Power Coin that should eventually result in a new Power Ranger ally we need.” Princess Luna said.
“Show me the coin! If it is true, then the Power Rangers are going to need more help than before….” Zordon said.
After the coin was shown, Princess Celestia then sent the coin to Sunset Shimmer as Alpha 5 then spoke to Zordon about something he knew he wouldn’t like.
"Zordon, what if we trained some of these Equestrians to be Power Rangers! We could have more help!”
Zordon then spoke, “Alpha, that is potentially a risk I don’t want to take as I don’t want them to suffer the same fate as my team did.”
Princess Celestia then spoke, “I know where you are getting at Zordon, but you can’t be buried and bound by your past failures as your team would want you to heal and move on, but never forgetting them or their memory. My little ponies know what Rita is, what she is capable of, and what the risk she poses to my kingdom. Besides, these ponies before you are willing to take that risk to save their homes and to some extent, I am willing to lay my life down to ensure my subjects are safe. So please, let this happen with your blessing.”
“Very well then your highness, if you want it to happen…then I’ll let it happen for the sake of their world and that of Earth, but they must prove their worth to me and show they have what it takes to be a Power Ranger.”
It was then that Limestone Pie stayed where she was at looking like she was hiding a secret she really didn't want to share, but had to as her sister Limestone Pie then spoke up.
“What’s wrong Marble?”
“It’s just that because of that bastard Blueblood using me to find the Orichailcum mine that…I’m…pregnant with his foal!” Marble Pie shouted.
“Wait, what happened?” Alpha 5 asked.
Seconds later, both he and Zordon were brought up to speed on what had happened between Marble Pie and Blueblood along with the original plan to kill Twilight Sparkle leaving them both shocked and infuriated as Alpha 5 soon spoke.
“Why that dirty rotten bastard! Don’t worry, the Power Rangers will stop that attempted power grab Ms. Marble Pie…”
Zordon then spoke, “For now keep her safe in a place where no one can harm her or her baby. As for those present who won't become Power Rangers, never speak word of this to anyone else at all. Being a Power Ranger is a sacred and dangerous duty, it would be unwise if the secret got out of who the Power Rangers were.”
The rest of the Pie family nodded as seconds later to everypony’s surprise, the elements of Harmony transformed into Power Coins and went to those who currently used them except for the element of Magic being handed to Shining Armor for now shocking all present, but soon the shock wore off as Zordon then spoke to all present.
“With that odd event out of the way, to those might become Power Rangers, you must all follow these rules; never use your powers for personal gain, never use your powers escalate a fight unless you are forced by your enemy, and never ever show anyone your ranger identity to anyone at all unless Alpha 5 and I approve of it first. Are we clear?”
After they nodded, they then were all teleported to the Command Center except for the Royal Sisters and those who couldn’t become Power Rangers as Princess Celestia looked at her sister and spoke to her.
“Ready for a sparring session sister so if Rita shows up, she'll be sent home crying like a little bitch?”
Princess Luna nodded as moments later, they teleported to the Royal Guard Training Grounds while still being connected to the Command Center as the rest of the group soon met Alpha 5 face to face and were led down to a place called “The Pit”.
“Here is where you will train to be Power Rangers, trust me it will hurt, but it will be worth it.” Alpha 5 said.
Then the training started as a dozen Putty Patrollers or Rock Golems appeared though they were just holograms as Rainbow Dash, flew over to them thinking it was a joke as she then spoke up.
“Really? These are just holograms and-“
Rainbow Dash didn’t get to finish her sentence when one of the training Putty Patrollers smacked her into a wall causing her to groan in pain as she got up and spoke seconds later.
“Okay, not an illusion or a video game…and it's a strong as tartarus hologram...”
On the other hand, Rita had arrived in the world her Green Ranger had talked about and looked around a bit before she found the Dazzles who were digging through the trash not noticing Rita coming to them.
With a simple swing of her staff, the Dazzles were soon under her control as they all bowed before Rita before one of them spoke to Rita and it happened to be Sonata Dusk.
“How we may be of service to our empress?”
Rita looked over the Dazzles one by one starting with Sonata Dusk who had raspberry red eyes, light cerulean skin, light arctic blue hair with moderate Persian blue done in a ponytail, and her usual outfit of hot pink boots, pink mini-skirt, and dark pink jacket with turquoise clasps along with her patch detail that was of a heart with a bent music eight-note were replaced with a dark gray teal armored outfit similar to Rita’s though it had light green bat wings on the back.
Aria Blaze also had her usual attire replaced by a similar outfit Rita had given her except hers was a light purple in color as her moderate mulberry eyes stared back at Rita, she also had a light and pale grayish fuchsia color for her skin tone, her moderate purple hair and aquamarine details done in a pair of pig tails that now had broken star with a two-tone music note for brad marks.
Finally, Adagio Dazzle who now had a dark orange-yellow armored outfit instead of her normal attire looked at Rita with her eyes that were similar in color to Sonata only they were a brilliant raspberry color with total obedience, her usual skin color had been pale apple green though it was hidden by her new armor as was her cutie mark which would’ve been a yellow diamond, and her hair was that of luminous vivid orange with brilliant yellow streaks in a rather poofy style.
“Now my Sirens, rise to your feet!” Rita shouted.
They then followed her as the Green Ranger soon joined them as they took refuge in an abandoned sugar mill as Rita then began to plot out her next move as she soon saw a chance to do so; the Friendship Games.
“Soon, I will be ruler of all things!” Rita shouted.
She then out dark laughter as the Dazzles and her Green Ranger bowed before her….
