Meanwhile down into the sewers, before Twilight, Trixie, Starlight, Rarity, and Sunset proceeded forward to their underground HQ. Twilight wishes to have a talk to Trixie, despite their successful rescue mission. Before any of the unicorns knew what was going on, Twilight angrily smacked Trixie across the face in an instant with her front right hoof.
"TRIXIE LULAMOON, WHAT THE FUCK WERE YOU THINKING BACK THERE?!!!" Twilight Sparkle lividly roared at Trixie in a Canterlot voice. "JUST WHAT PART OF 'STAY CLOSE TO ME' DID YOU NOT UNDERSTAND???"
After a few minutes, Trixie turns around to face Twilight, while feeling her bruise on her face with her hoof.
"Well, I-I uh..." Trixie stammered in fear not knowing what to say, while the rest of the unicorns started at Twilight with their eyes widen with shock and fear.
"I was about to exfiltrate the palace when I noticed that you weren't there with us when we got Rarity out. Before I could do anything else, Sunset told me on my ear-bud that you were being restrained by Morning Blade's guards," Twilight angrily added. "YOU ALMOST GOT US KILLED!!! In fact, I just had to expose my identity and fought my way through Morning Blade's guards before saving your sorry flank."
"I-I'm sorry Twilight," Trixie apologized in a cowering tone of voice. "I just missed being my old self again. I found my old wizard stuff and my traveling wagon in the Canterlot's storage area and I tried to get it back from them but not before I got caught. During the invasion back in Canterlot, I escaped in a flash but not before realizing that I left most of my stuff behind at the palace."
"Argh, you..." Twilight said angrily at Trixie, unable to come up with anymore words to say due to her frustration for a few seconds. After taking a few deep breaths and stretching her hoof from her chest and away from her, Twilight continued with her sentence towards Trixie while still glaring at her in a stern look. "Don't you realize that we have more important things that need to be taken care of, than rather recovering and retrieving lost items??!! DO YOU??!!!"
"Now look, darling. I'm sure Trixie didn't really mean it." Rarity told Twilight in a sympathetic way.
"Rarity, her actions almost put our entire mission into jeopardy." Twilight responded to her fashionista friend in a stressed out tone. "It's bad enough that most of my friends got captured and enslaved by the enemy. When Princess Luna gave me an offer that I cannot refuse, in order to redeem myself, I promised myself not to leave another friend behind."
"You know what? Why don't we deal with Trixie's idiocy later, Twilight?" Starlight suggested to her. "We still need to get back to HQ for a debriefing."
"I guess you're right Starlight," Twilight huffed, finally calming down from her immediate anger with Trixie's disobedience. "Let's go."
Not a moment to soon, the 5 unicorns proceed further into the sewers before heading back to HQ. As for Trixie, she is still shaken from the fact that her actions had almost put every pony in Twilight's group in even more bigger danger than they're already in. After getting beaten by Morning Blade, Trixie could not help but almost wasted her own life thinking that she would meet the same fate as Twilight's friends did. Despite experiencing such trauma, Rarity patted on Trixie's back telling her that everything will be okay once they reach their HQ.
Meanwhile back at Canterlot, Queen Majesty was able to make it back with the help of Vermillion and Black Scythe, while being escorted by her Royal Caravan. By the time Majesty looked through the window of her Royal Stagecoach, she sees medics and guards all swarming all over the palace. As soon as the Unicornian Queen got out of her Royal Caravan, the moment they stopped, Majesty immediately went on ahead to investigate the situation. When Majesty asked her guards to if her father is okay, they brought her to the medical tent. As soon as she went inside, Majesty was notified by one of the doctors that all 25 guards are dead, all in one day. However, her father was still alive. Unfortunately, the moment Majesty got closer to check up on her father, she noticed that Amadeus has a big bandage covering up his left eye and a couple of bruises all over his face. As for Morning Blade, he's still lying on a stretcher unconscious, while suffering from a traumatic brain injury, and is scheduled to be sent to the hospital to perform an immediate brain surgery.
"Father!!! Are you okay??" Majesty asked in a panicked state. "What happened?? Who did this to you???"
Majesty hadn't forgotten that after she defeated Princess Luna before the end of the civil war, she nearly used up all of her magic in order to perform an exorcism on her father. It was the only way to drag Luna's Tantabus from Amadeus' body for good. Right now, she's starting to have a breakdown not knowing what to do anymore since Amadeus got attacked again. The moment Amadeus turned around to see his daughter, he took a deep breath before he responded to Majesty's question.
"An incursion took place in our castle grounds. All 25 of our guards were massacred during the line of duty. You're not going to believe who showed up while causing all of that bloody mayhem." Amadeus said to Majesty while still traumatized from his injuries. "It was Twilight Sparkle, she came back from the dead to seek vengeance on us!!!"
"What?!! But father, you told me that Princess Twilight was dead!!!" Majesty said to Amadeus, unable to think clearly about how all of this started.
"It turns out that not only did we underestimated Twilight Sparkle, we also underestimated Princess Celestia as well!!!" Amadeus explained to his daughter with a new theory. "I know Celestia. Her magic revolves around powerful healing and revival abilities and has been practicing them every single day. She must've tried to revive Twilight earlier before she gave up and never realized how successful she was until the last minute. What's worse, Twilight Sparkle already had accomplices helping her out. They already vanished leaving no traces."
"My Queen! You've got to take a look at this." One of the guards said to Majesty as he led her to the eastern tower.
When Majesty got to the eastern tower, she went inside only to realize that Rarity was nowhere to be found. On the wall to her right, she sees a huge writing next to a window. It said, "OH THANK FAUST, I'M FINALLY FREE AT LAST!!!! SO LONG MAJESTY BLUEBLOOD, YOU SPOILED, BRATTY TORMENTOR!!!! -Rarity."
"AGH!!! I can't believe this is happening!!!?" Majesty shrieked to herself. "Not only was Twilight Sparkle and her group after us, they were after their friends as well. They must've came here and got Rarity out when I wasn't looking."
After Majesty left the eastern tower, she meets up with Vermillion and Black Scythe at the castle grounds.
"I guess I will have no choice but to notify all of our garrisons and our allies about this new impeding threat heading our way," Majesty said to herself before speaking to her two officers. "Vermillion, alert the rest of our armies from the other cities about this. Black Scythe, send word to our allied leaders. Tell them to meet up with me in the Canterlot Palace for an emergency conference."
Without hesitation, both commanders took off while following Majesty' immediate orders without any further delays.
Back at the Lunar Republican HQ, Twilight's team was able to bring Rarity into the medical ward to be treated of her injuries. After learning that Rarity was saved, Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie both hugged Rarity while crying in tears of joy. Later on, Twilight was summoned back to the briefing room to go over the results of her mission. Unfortunately, Luna gave Twilight a stern, angry look, in which wasn't a good sign.
"Twilight Sparkle, I was impressed on how you were able to save Rarity," Luna said to Twilight before continuing with the results of her actions. "However, I also read further on your report that after you took Rarity to the extraction point, you went violently reckless by attacking several guards in the palace courtyard. That's not acceptable because they could've outnumber you from 10 to 1 in less than a minute. So, may I ask why did you cause so much unnecessary deadly force on your enemies before you left the area?"
Before Twilight could say anything to Princess Luna, Trixie stepped forward and wishes to make a confession.
"Actually Princess, it was my fault that Twilight did all that!" Trixie spoke as she answered Luna's question for Twilight, feeling guilty of her actions. "I was just trying to recover my stuff from Canterlot, but I got caught by the enemy. If it weren't for Twilight Sparkle, I would never see the light of day again."
"Is that true, Twilight?" Luna asked her after hearing Trixie's confession, with her eyes widened with disbelief.
"Yes, it's true Luna. I didn't want those bastards take away any more of my friends from me. You already told us that most of your other LR commandoes went MIA on you and that we must always stay close to each other in order to survive out there. Since we're nothing like them, I do not wish to make the same mistakes they did." Twilight said to Luna. "If I were to succeed in doing these rescue missions, I have to make sure all of my team members and friends survive. Otherwise, we'll fail our mission in saving Equestria. I've already been through this more than once with my friends."
"So, you're saying that all of this happened because one of your fellow team members disobeyed a direct order from you?" Luna asked Twilight, trying to summarize all of the bad news that occurred during her first rescue mission.
"Yes!!!" Twilight answered to Luna's question.
"Okay then, I'll let you both go with the warning this time," Luna said to both Twilight and Trixie. "However, if this happens again, one of you will be suspended from proceeding onto the next mission until further notice. Now go get some rest. Your next mission will start at dusk. And you, Trixie, if you wanted to recover your personal belongs, make sure you write it down first and let Pinkie Pie take care of it for you."
"Understood, your highness." Trixie said to Luna while apologizing for her incompetence.
"Thank you, Princess Luna. Come on, Trixie. Let's go get something to eat." Twilight said to Trixie before they both left the briefing room.
"So, Moonbutt, what makes you think that what Twilight did to Amadeus was reckless? She pretty much wanted revenge on him for a long time but was hesitant to do so due to attempting to make peaceful solutions earlier." Discord asked to Luna as he appeared right next to her.
"Discord, she's still not ready to face Amadeus or his family yet," Luna said while answering Discord's question. "Twilight still has a long way to go before she can take on those wretched vermin. I'm pretty sure you have a long way to go before helping us stop Tirek in his tracks."
"Well, since Twilight gave Amadeus quite a scare, it's only a matter of time before she'll bring him to justice if she faces him again." Discord continued. "I know, there maybe limits to one pony's revenge but Twilight won't be able to hold it back any longer if they keep tormenting her any further. You know what I mean, right?!"
"If that's true, then Twilight needs to take it easy and handle to next mission carefully," Luna said to Discord before he left the briefing room. Luna turned towards the portrait that displays a stained glass of Princess Celestia herself. "Oh, Tia, if only you were still here with us."
Meanwhile, in an unknown shadowy part in Equestria, there were two alicorns locked away inside a dark prison tower. Princess Celestia and Princess Cadence were bound in chains, stripped of their magic and their cutie marks, and imprisoned inside the top level of the tower. Below them, they see their innocent subjects being whipped left and right as they were put under forced labor by Cicada's Changeling servants. While being held prisoner in the dark tower, Celestia and Cadence were comforting each other while they let their tears fall silently from their eyes.
"Oh, auntie. I'm sorry. I wish there was some way to end this horrible nightmare, the very same nightmare that took away my dear foal sister." Princess Cadence said to her aunt Princess Celestia as she comfort her with her hooves.
"I know, my dear. Fret not, Cadence, I'm sure Luna will find a way to save us both." Princess Celestia said to Cadence while still crying in silent. "Though, I wish I hadn't enforced all of Twilight's reforms so fast like that. I hope Gladius will able to take care of Sunset Shimmer when I'm gone."
During the final siege of Canterlot, Sunset Shimmer, Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, and Gladius Strife were all struggling to fend off the Unicornian invaders that rampaged throughout the city of Canterlot. Unfortunately, despite all of their best efforts, the invaders keep getting closer and closer. Before they knew it, all of their defenders were overwhelmed and taken down in an instant and the 4 remaining defenders were losing their stamina for fighting off an endless wave of enemies. Celestia gave the order to fall back to the throne room inside the palace. As soon as they finished barricading the palace doors, they tried to recover and take a breather. However, in just 20 minutes later, the Unicornians were using a battering ram to take down the palace doors leading to the throne room.
"Princess Celestia!!! The Unicornians are about to breach through the Palace doors. What should we do??!!" Sunset Shimmer asked her mother-figure Princess Celestia.
"I'm sorry Sunset Shimmer, but I'm afraid that this is where we will part ways." Princess Celestia responded to Sunset.
"Part ways?" Sunset Shimmer asked in a horrified tone, with her eyes widened. "You don't mean...."
"You still have a long life ahead of you, Sunset Shimmer. For your own safety, your must leave this place at once and don't look back." Princess Celestia ordered Sunset in a royal Canterlot voice. "Gladius Strife, you will look after Sunset Shimmer from now on. That will be the final order I will give you."
"But Celestia, I can't move on without your guidance." Sunset Shimmer protested in fearing for her mother's safety.
"Sunset, you must live for my sake and go find yourself another mentor." Celestia said in a tearful voice.
"Come on, Sunset Shimmer. Let's get out while we still have the chance." Gladius said to Sunset as he used his magic to uncover a secret passage behind the throne. "It's been an honor serving you, Princess Celestia."
"NO!!!! I WON'T LEAVE YOU!!!!" Sunset Shimmer wailed very loud as she keeps getting dragged by Gladius' magic before disappearing into the secret passage. "PRINCESS!!!!!"
After Sunset disappeared through the passage, along with Gladius Strife, Princess Celestia gets up on her hooves once again.
"I'll always be there for you in your heart, Sunset Shimmer." Princess Celestia said with a tearful smile on her face. "Luna, are you ready to finish this fight together?"
"Ready when you are Tia!!!" Luna responded to her elder sister.
The royal sisters see the palace doors burst wide open. The next thing they saw was Majesty Blueblood marching into the throne room preparing herself for the final battle between her and the royal sisters of Equestria.
"Luna, Celestia, say your prayers!!!" Majesty hissed at them before she unfurled her wings and charged toward them, unleashing a massive surge of magic coming out of her horn.
As Majesty unleashed her magic upon the royal sisters, Celestia used her magic to form a shield barrier while Luna flew up above her and launched her magic at Majesty. Unfortunately, because of the training she took from Lord Tirek and from her other teachers at Unicornia, Majesty fired a massive beam at Luna, colliding into Luna's spell. After a few minutes of struggling over the magic of both alicorns, Majesty finally broke through Luna's spell and struck her squarely in the chest. Upon impact, an explosion occurred that sent Luna crashing through a nearby stained glass window and plummeted straight into the ground unconscious, much to Princess Celestia's horror and devastation. Enraged after seeing her sister get beaten so easily, Celestia used her horn to summon forth all of her alicorn magic and aimed at Majesty. As soon as Celestia fired her magic, it unleashed a massive beam of sun magic straight at Majesty. However, Majesty was able to counteract it with a huge deflector shield. As a result, the entire palace of Canterlot exploded, destroying the palace roofs in one go. Both Majesty and Celestia unfurled their wings and took to the skies, engaging in an aerial battle, firing their spells at each other while in mid-air. Before Celestia could see what was coming, Majesty used in illusion spell to keep her off guard. The next thing Majesty did was that she flew right behind Princess Celestia, summoned all of her magic and formed into a huge arrowhead, and slammed her straight into a nearby tower. Upon impact, the tower collapsed, taking down Celestia with it. For Majesty, she was still in the air. As soon as the tower fell, Majesty landed on all four hooves in front of Princess Celestia. Upon seeing the sun princess coughing up blood and suffering from internal injuries and bruises, Majesty started gloating at Celestia in a evil cackle.
"Princess Celestia, this is the end. Victory is mine." Majesty Blueblood spoke in an intense tone of voice.
"Let's not give up hope Cadence. I'm sure someday, there will be a hero that will bring forth back the light that was taken away from us." Princess Celestia said to Cadence.
Meanwhile, back at the Lunar Republican HQ, Twilight and her team finished with their lunch break and are preparing to head out to rescue Applejack from the slavers.
"Okay, guys. I just received a report from Luna that Applejack is being hauled off in a slave caravan along with a group of 20 slaves in cages mounted on wagons from one of the Canterlot farms to Baltimare." Twilight announced to the group. "First up, they'll be traveling through the forest at sunset. Our objective is to ambush the slave caravan before they reach the city. If they successfully reach Baltimare, the threat level there will be too high for us to handle there. Sunset Shimmer, before they reach their destination, you will plant the explosive charges one of the tallest trees 100 meters ahead of their encroaching position. When you're done, wait until they get close enough, then set off the charges so that there will be a blockade in front of the caravan. As soon as they stop, me, Trixie, and Starlight move in a eliminate all of the slave masters and slavers, while you bring out the blambow and aim at their battle wagons. After all threats are neutralized, free all the slaves and escort them to Daring Do's group so that they can take care of them for us, while we bring in Applejack, so that she can recover. Don't forget, some of the slavers are actually working undercover as Daring Do's spies, so be careful in choosing your targets. They'll be wearing forest green headbands on their heads. The moment we strike one of the slaver wagons, they'll start engaging the other slavers and slave masters while they're still confused."
Wasting no time, Twilight and her group geared up once more before heading out. This time, they took a hot-air balloon to their destination with Twilight directing it with while using her wings to flying into the clear, sunsetting sky. When they got close to the the forest, Twilight helped made a clear landing on the grassy area. After Sunset, Starlight, and Trixie disembarked from their balloon and grabbed all of their weapons and equipment, Trixie used her magic to cast an illusion spell on the balloon, turning it into a huge boulder before proceeding further into the forest. Starlight and Sunset went on ahead to scout the area for the slave caravan. After there search, Starlight pointed out to Twilight that the caravan was slowly coming down from the west 500 meters of their position.
"Okay guys, time to take point. Starlight, you find a safe hiding spot in the trees near their location. Trixie, go hide behind the bushes or behind the trees. We wait until Sunset gives out the signal, then we strike with all our might." Twilight told both mares before using her invisibility spell to disappear into the woods.
"Trixie, try not to do anything that'll upset Twilight this time, okay?" Starlight told Trixie, while still feeling concern for her friend's safety.
"I won't. I promise!!" Trixie replied to Starlight in a sheepish tone.
"I'm serious, Trixie. Twilight was right at one point, you were being irrational during our last mission and your actions had almost put our entire team in danger." Starlight said in a serious tone of voice. "This isn't a game. The fate of Equestria all depends on our mission, do you understand me?! Twilight still cares about us as much as she cared about her family and the Mane 5. You should be grateful that Twilight gave all of us a second chance to understand friendship as much as she did. As of right now, we still owe her our lives. So, don't disappoint her again, okay?!"
Trixie made a simple nod to Starlight before she disappeared into the woods, while Starlight using her levitation magic to lift herself up into one of the trees above.
Somewhere, on other side of the forest, the slave caravan was proceeding further down the main road leading to Baltimare. In front of the caravan, there were three slaver wagons and in the back, there were 4 caged wagons with each of them carrying 5 slaves. About 2 slaves are dragging each wagon forward down the road. Behind the slaves, they were being whipped by the slavers who were sitting at the front seat of each slaver wagon. Both sides of the caravan were being escorted by a couple of slavers, while the rest of the slavers and slave masters are sleeping inside their slaver wagons.
"Forward, you maggots. Forward!!!" One the slavers shouted as he whiplashed one of the slaves in front of him.
"Argh, damn faggot." Applejack mumbled to herself while being beaten by one of the slavers behind her as she continued hauling the second slaver wagon down the road. "If only Rainbow Dash was still here."
In second the slaver wagons, there is a huge, muscular earth pony stallion sitting in the middle of the wagon. The stallion had a brown body with a red mane and tail. He happens to be in charge of the slave caravan. He bears the cutie mark of a red-orange relic cross and is wearing grey spiked armor and helmet. Next to his left side is a huge flanged mace and next to his right side is a spiked shield. His name is Crimson Cross, who once served in the Unicornian forces as one of Morning Blade's favorite officers during the civil war. He was also known as "Bloody Beater," due to his reputation of aggressive torturing and interrogation. While in the Unicornian army, he has beaten and interrogate more than 25 POWs, about 20 of them were able to leak out information to superiors after one minute of brutal beating. He was also the one who took Applejack down when she made a failed attempt to save her family.
"Hey, Applejackie." Crimson Cross said to Applejack, followed by a evil cackle. "When we get to Baltimare, how about you and I go on a date? I heard that city is famous for it's bars. I always liked hanging out with sexy, cute earth ponies like you."
"Ya wish, ya ugly freak!!!" Applejack fuming while still hauling the wagon that Lasher is on, gritting her teeth.
Crimson Cross laughed at Applejack while taking a sip of apple cider from his mug. "I'll always enjoyed your apple cider, little lady. Tell you what, you go out on a date with me and I'll treat you fairly, unlike the rest of the slavers."
Applejack grunted with anger. She knew that Cross is lying to her because the last time she was forced to go out on a date with one of slavers, she got mugged by a group of them and one of them gave Applejack a burn mark on her neck before she collapsed for a few hours. As far as Applejack can tell, Cross will not be any different from any of his fellow slavers.
Meanwhile, more than a 100 meters ahead of the slave caravan, Sunset Shimmer successfully planted the dynamite to a tree nearby the main road. After she was done, Sunset went to hide in the tall grass while waiting until the caravan gets closer to the trap. Right next to Sunset is a detonator that will be used to trigger the explosion, making the tree fall right in front of the main road.
"Twilight, this is Sunset. The dynamite is armed and ready." Sunset said to Twilight through her ear-bud.
"Roger that. Wait until I give the order." Twilight silently acknowledged to Sunset through her ear-bud, while hiding in another spot behind the tall grass.
For Trixie, she is hiding behind a tall, wide tree which is across the main road from where Twilight is hiding.
After 20 minutes have passed, Starlight was finally able to see a full glimpse of the slave caravan with her telescope while hiding in the trees above the road.
"Twilight, I see the caravan. They're heading this way." Starlight silently told Twilight through the ear-bud.
"Okay." Twilight replied to Starlight before switching channels to communicate with Sunset next. "Sunset Shimmer, get ready to blow up that tree on my command."
"Understood." Sunset acknowledged Twilight's command as she grabbed the detonator, preparing to set off the explosive charges.
As soon as they reached 100 meters, Twilight gave the order to Sunset Shimmer. Without hesitation, Sunset activated the detonator. Without warning, an explosion occurred from the right of the main road. Before any of the slavers or slaves could see what was happening, a huge tree fell on top of the main road, preventing them from proceeding any further.
"WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON, OUT THERE??" Crimson Cross shouted as he woke up from his dream and jumped out of the slaver wagon.
During the commotion, the rest of the slavers and slaves also woke up from their sleep after hearing the explosion coming from outside of their wagons. While still hiding, Sunset uses her magic to bring out the blambow. It was a long bow armed with 3 grenades attached to each arrow. Sunset aims her blambow at the first slaver wagon.
"What in tarnation just happened??" Applejack muttered to herself after hearing the explosion.
As most of the slavers and slave masters came out of their wagons to investigate the fiasco, Sunset fired her first shot into the the first slaver wagon with her blambow. Upon impact, the wagon exploded into a million pieces, startling most of the Crimson's slavers. Just when a couple of the slavers and slave masters went to investigate the second explosion, the undercover slavers started attacking, disarming some of them before grabbing, beating, and shooting them down with their weapons. During the fight, Crimson Cross and a couple of his slave masters regrouped and fought against any traitorous slavers that came in their way. Suddenly, without warning, Starlight Glimmer jumped out from her hiding spot in the trees and made a bone-crushing, blood gushing strike on one of the enemy slave masters from above with her warhammer. Before the other slaver could react, Starlight started swinging a metal ball and chain at him, knocking the slaver to a nearby tree and collapsed. Trixie and Twilight sprang out from their hiding spots and opened fire with their magic and with their flintlock pistols at the enemy slavers.
During the fight, Applejack, who is still restrained by her slave harness, spotted a full glimpse of Starlight Glimmer knocking away every opponent with her warhammer.
"Starlight Glimmer??" Applejack spoke up in a surprised tone of voice. "How did ya find me here??"
"I'll explain later, Applejack." Starlight said to Applejack while she used her magic to levitate a key that she got from one of the downed slavers and released the farm pony from her slave harness. "We're here to get you out."
"Not yet, sugarcube." Applejack protested. "I've got ah score to settle with that wretched slaver brute. I need ah weapon, like that ball and chain ya have in ya hooves."
"Okay, if you insist." Starlight said as she reluctantly handed over the ball and chain to Applejack.
"All, right ya mangy, rapist buckers." Applejack snarled as she held her left hoof with the chain and her right hoof swinging the metal ball above her head. "It's payback time for y'all. YEEEE-HAAAAAWWW!!!!"
Before they could see it coming, Applejack charged at the enemy slavers with all her might, knocking every one of them with her blunted weapon with full earth pony fury. As the fight continued, Twilight moved to the side, avoiding a whiplash by a nearby slave master, and slashed at him with a downward cut, in which gave the slave master a blood-gushing wound, with her sword before it hit the ground. At the same time, the wounded slave master fell to the ground, dead.
As Twilight fought with 3 more enemy slavers, Cross spotted her 20 feet away from his position. After he broke the skull of a nearby traitorous slaver with his huge hoof, he marched with his remaining slave masters, closing in on Twilight's position. After Twilight killed all three slavers, she spot a couple more of Crimson's slave masters closing in on her. All of sudden, Twilight started spinning around very fast and formed a bladed whirlwind that engulfed and shredded all of Crimson's slave masters in one go, as if they were all caught inside a blender. The next thing Crimson saw from his fellow slave masters were all nothing but a pile of bloodied, chopped up pieces. He, then see Twilight Sparkle land on the ground after her flight, feeling a little dizzy for her whirlwind attack.
"Well, if it isn't Celestia's little bitch." Crimson Lasher said while he drew out his flanged mace and shield. "I thought you were dead."
"I hate it break it up with you Crimson, but true heroes never die." Twilight hissed at Crimson before holding her sword in a warlike stance, after she snapped out of her dizziness.
"True Hero?! Oh-Bah!!!" Crimson sneered at Twilight. "The only true hero I always put my faith in is Queen Majesty Blueblood. She needed slaves in order to keep every pony under a strict disciplinary code of conduct. And I'm one of the best slave masters she's got. I can't wait to bring in your head upon her doorstep once I'm done with you."
"Like that's ever going to happen." Twilight snarled at Crimson. "Bring it on, you dim-witted beast."
Angered by Twilight's taunting, Crimson charged at her with his shield in front and his mace behind his back. As both of their weapons collided with each other, Twilight dodged Crimson's shield bash by performing a 10ft flip into the air with her wings. The next thing Crimson saw was Twilight flying straight at him, performing an aerial ace with her sword pointed at him from her right. Crimson got out of the way of Twilight's aerial ace and attempted to slam her in the back with his mace. However, Twilight rolled on her back while in mid-air and blocked Crimson's attack with her sword in front of her exposed body. After parrying against Crimson's blow, she flew away from him and unleashed a lighting bolt spell from her horn. Not moment too soon, Crimson raised his shield up high in order to prevent Twilight's spell from hitting him. As the lighting bolt struck Crimson's shield, a small explosion erupted above where he was standing. However, the shield was left undamaged by Twilight's spell. Shocked by what Twilight saw, it turns out that Crimson was using a ebony-steel tower spiked shield, filled with anti-magic enhancements.
"Where the hell did you get that shield from??" Twilight asked in a state of shock.
"Well, it was made for me by one of the best blacksmiths in Unicornia and I've been able to keep this with me, since I joined the Unicornian Army."Crimson said in a cackling voice.
Crimson launched himself up into the sky and tried to bash Twilight with his shield, only for her move to the left away from Crimson's attack. When Crimson landed on the ground with his hooves, he started shooting at her with his flintlock pistol. Twilight used her magic to form a shield barrier that deflected every shot that Crimson is making. As soon as Twilight made a dive bomb from the sky, she lashed out at Crimson with her sword only to be parried by his flanged mace again. After several more parries between both ponies' attacks, Twilight eventually broke Crimson's mace in two after she focused all her energy into her blade. However, the moment Crimson's broken mace fell to the ground, he finally bashed Twilight with his tower shield, sending her reeling into a nearby tree. After Twilight face flat on the ground, Crimson grabs her by the neck and lifts her up high above his height.
"That maybe a good display of fighting and flying stunts you got there, girly." Crimson sneered while laughing at Twilight, who was still struggling to break herself free from his grip with little or no effort. "Though, it's still not going to save you. Now say good night, you little brat."
Before Crimson was about to straggle Twilight to death, Starlight and Applejack joined in the fight. They both used their blunt weapons to knock Crimson out cold by striking him in the back of his body. As he fell down, Twilight broke free from his grip and took a breather. Upon seeing Twilight again, Applejack hugged Twilight while sobbing on her shoulders.
"Oh, Twi. I can't believe you actually came back. B-But how was this possible??" Applejack cried as she wiped away her tears with her hoof.
"Well, it turns out the Princess Celestia used her magic to revive me before she even knew it." Twilight answered Applejack's question. "However, I didn't wake up until 15 years later because of the Orichalcum that was embedded beneath my flesh."
"I see. Well, I'm glad I was able to break free from these slavery restraints." Applejack said to herself. "By the way Twi, did ya know where they took ma family? It was a couple of months ago when ah last saw them."
"I don't know Applejack." Twilight responded to her. "Well, I hope Luna will be able to discover the whereabouts of our families very soon."
"Princess Luna?? But ah thought she was kidnapped by those bucking assholes!!!" Applejack exclaimed in a state of shock.
"Well, it was actually thanks to Discord and the Changeling Republic that I was able to see Luna again." Twilight told Applejack.
"Where are they at, y'all?" Applejack asked Twilight.
"They're at our hideout, down below the sewers underneath Canterlot." Twilight answered.
"That's good ta hear!!" Applejack said before she turned around to see Crimson regaining consciousness.
After taking the beating from Applejack and Starlight, Crimson slowly started to get up on his hooves again, when all of a sudden..... WHAM!!!
Before any pony could see what was going on, Applejack smashed Crimson's face into the dirt with both of her front hooves.
"That's for beating me and torturing me half to death." Applejack snarled at Crimson before she walked away from him.
When the battle was won, all of the enemy slavers and slave masters that weren't killed or beaten surrendered after seeing their head slavemaster defeated and were rounded up by Twilight's team and Daring Do's team. They all freed the slaves from their cages before parting ways. Daring Do's team also decided to round up the prisoners and haul them away from the area. Before Twilight's team left the area, she received a scroll from Princess Luna, telling her that she wants Twilight to bring in Crimson Cross for interrogation. Twilight accepted this order and had her friends tie up and gag Crimson while he's still out cold. As Twilight, her team, and Applejack made their way to their hot-air balloon, they all got on, except for Twilight and made a lift off into the blue, night sky, with Twilight pulling them from behind. During their flight back to their hideout, Applejack was a little curious on what Twilight did back there.
"Say, sugarcube?" Applejack asked Twilight. "Where did ya learn all those bad ass moves, ah? That was amazing on what ya did back there. If Rainbow Dash found out what ya did to those mangy buckers, she will be really jealous!!!"
"It's a long story, Applejack." Twilight said to her while flying through the sky. "Well, let's just say that Luna taught me some things that helped me even out the odds against those heartless nobles."
"Thank you for saving my life, y'all." Applejack said congratulating Twilight and her friends. "Ah sure would've never been able to live it all down, if I were to spend the rest of ma life as a miserable slave."
"Not a problem, Applejack." Twilight said, smiling at the earth pony mare. "Not a problem."
