Vacation Gone Ahoof

by Skylight77

It's Just a Hoof Massage

The cranking of heavy metal on wheels was like music to her ears. When it got going, it was like a rock band. Rainbow Dash was sitting at the front seat of the roller coaster, already with her hooves held high. A few other ponies in the front held them up as well while the back ones held the handles nervously. This was going to be a great vacation.

But when they were getting to the highest point of the coaster’s tracks, Rainbow saw something floating over the horizon. It was huge, massive, enormous, anything that could describe something as big. And it was heading this way with a serious fit, blowing away clouds and sending them crashing down towards the buildings. Some of the clouds it passed by activated into deadly storm clouds.

Rainbow Dash gasped, released herself from the safeties of her seat, and shouted, “SKY WHALE!!!”

“A sky whale? Seriously?” a stallion unicorn with a lab coat interrupted. His name was Organ Dot, a doctor in a hospital off the coast of White Tail Woods. It was a few miles away from Las Pegasus and on the way to Ponyville.

“Yes!” Rainbow responded. “It was totally gonna wreck all of Las Pegasus if I didn’t do something. So I-”

“Look, as much as I’d love to hear your fantasies, just cut to how you got hurt.” The doctor’s response left Rainbow unamused.

“Fiiine,” she said as she crossed her hooves.

The cannon was ready. Rainbow Dash was propped in and set to be fired. She started giving the signal to the ponies behind her to fire the cannon.

“Wait for it… NOW!” The cannon fired with a loud bang, launching Rainbow Dash in an instant rainboom while she left a rainbow trail behind. The sky whale was directly in her path. She would collide with it and be rid of the monster threat of Las Pegasus. When her distance closed to just a few meters, she adjusted her hind hooves straightforward and-

“That’s enough,” the doctor interrupted once again.

“Oh, come on!” Rainbow shouted in a whine. “You wanted me to explain it! What’s the deal?”

The doctor slammed his clipboard down. “You expect me to believe you were fired out of a cannon designed to stop a giant sky whale? First off, a cannon of that firepower would incinerate you the second you were fired from it!”

“You’ve obviously never seen a party cannon,” Rainbow whispered while the doctor continued.

“The only injuries we saw on your body was on your hind hooves, which need I remind you, we had to have every doctor in the hospital just to restrain you while we treated them!” Rainbow Dash’s ears fell upon the reminder. “And one of them had to be sent to one of our rooms after you knocked them through a wall!” Now she was biting her lips while flinching back in her bed.

“As far as I’m concerned, your injuries were caused by a roller coaster accident that only happened because you wanted to act cool and not put your safety belt on, causing you to fly off and land here. You’re lucky you landed on your hooves, otherwise you could’ve suffered something worse.” Rainbow Dash narrowed her eyes, making her wings flare to try and prove a point. “Don’t blame me for your own incompetence. Stay here or leave. But if you continue this charade of a princess’s work, we’ll discontinue your insurance.”

The doctor left the room with his last words, shutting the door before Rainbow had a chance to respond. That didn’t stop her from doing so.

“I paid with my vacation bits!” she shouted, making her head vibrate in anger.

“Ow… Oww… Ooww…” Rainbow Dash moaned silent pains as she flew the rest of her way to her Cloudominium in Ponyville. She would rather end her vacation early than spend another second in that hospital. Her hind hooves may have been bandaged up, but with how sore they were from that impact, it was difficult to fly without them screaming at her to stay steady. Thankfully she managed to reach the window of her home.

“I wish somepony had told me a sky whale’s skin was harder than a rock full of gems! Ugh!” Rainbow plopped herself on her bed as she talked to herself. “At least I managed to stop its rampage. But darn it! Who’s gonna believe I managed to take down a monster that big?! If anypony sees me like this, they’re all just gonna think it was another accident, rather than an awesome act of an attack on a rampaging sky whale!”

“You attacked a sky whale?!” Rainbow froze when she heard a new voice inside her room. The softness of that voice turned surprised told her exactly who it was, making her instantly regret what she just said. She looked towards her window and saw the pony in question.

“Daah! F-Fluttershy!” Rainbow scruffled her sheets in a panic seeing her old time friend standing by her window. “N-No! I didn’t attack one. Well… okay, I did. But it was to stop it from destroying Las Pegasus!”

Fluttershy cringed. “Oh dear! Why was it attacking?” she asked.

“I don’t know,” Rainbow responded.

“You didn’t ask?” Fluttershy put a hoof to her mouth and paced in panic. “Oh… I hope you didn’t hurt the poor thing too badly. You should’ve called me. We could’ve discussed things delicately and no pony would have to be hurt.”

Rainbow rolled her eyes. “Well I’ll be sure to tell the next rampaging whale to be patient for a few hours while I go get you,” she said sarcastically.

“Oh really? You’d do that? Oh, thank you!” Fluttershy fluttered her wings in delight.

Rainbow ignored the fact Fluttershy missed her sarcasm. “What brings you here anyway?”

“Oh, umm…” Fluttershy brushed her mane nervously. “We saw you flying to your house rather slowly. You said you would be on vacation longer, so I thought something was wrong.”

Rainbow blinked. “Wait, ‘we’?”

“Yes,” Fluttershy responded. “All of us saw you, actually.” Rainbow groaned and pulled on her face in agony. She didn’t want the others to have seen that display. “We all would’ve come to see how you’re doing, but only pegasi ponies can meet you here. And Twilight left town on an important duty.”

Rainbow looked back up to Fluttershy curiously. “Important duty? What happened?” she asked. Suddenly, her front door slammed open.

“A sky whale happened!” A new voice shouted from the front door. Rainbow and Fluttershy flinched and looked to see who it was.

“Scootaloo?!” they both said. She was holding a newspaper and rushed to them with it.

“All the way on the other side of Equestria, a sky whale was seen heading to Las Pegasus.” After reaching the bed, Scootaloo pointed to an article showcasing the details of the sky whale. “Princess Celestia was requested to fly over there and deal with the situation before things got out of hoof. But when she arrived,-” she paused to point to the next section showing the princess looking at a motionless sky whale, “-the sky whale was already unconscious, with nopony in Las Pegasus harmed. Now Twilight’s heading over there to figure out what happened. But now I already know!” She pointed at Rainbow with a huge smile. “It was you, wasn’t it?! You stopped the sky whale and saved everypony!”

Scootaloo was shouting in excitement, Fluttershy was concerned with a hoof to her mouth, and Rainbow… was irritated.

“OH, YOU’VE GOTTA BE KIDDING ME!” Rainbow shouted. “You mean to tell me I got myself hurt stealing Princess Celestia’s job?!  AAAGH!” She threw her hooves in the air and dropped her head backwards, leaving an audible pomph when her head collided with her pillow.

“You got hurt?” Fluttershy asked. “Oh no. What happened to you?” Rainbow now realized her injury was being covered up this whole time. She threw her sheets off to reveal her hooves in their casts, making Fluttershy gasp. “Oh my… your hooves!. Are you okay?”

“They’re not broken,” Rainbow responded. “But they ache sooo muuuch.” Rainbow pushed the back of her head deeper into her pillow. “You have no idea how hard it was getting all the way back here. Imagine if I had to walk on them.”

Fluttershy’s ears dropped. “Oh, you poor thing…” She may not have been much of a flier herself, but she understood the pain that came from trying to fly while something ached. Most other ponies don’t think it would be a problem. But if they felt the air restrictions being pressed on them like that, they would understand, especially flying at Rainbow’s casual speed. “Is there anything we can do to help?”

Rainbow stayed silent, not really sure if she had an answer to that. She tried to think of one, when suddenly Scootaloo answered.

“How about a hoof massage?” Rainbow cringed harshly as her eyes darted to Scootaloo. “You like those, right Rainbow Dash?” She was about to scream, when Fluttershy interrupted.

“That’s a wonderful idea!” she said, leaving Rainbow with more interrupted agony. “A hoof massage is the perfect thing to soothe those aching-”

“NOOOO!!!” Rainbow shouted at the top of her lungs. “Scootaloo! How did you even come up with that?!”

“From the spa!” Scootaloo answered, making Rainbow cringe. “Well I did find it surprising, and regretful, to find that you enjoyed hooficures. So how bad can a hoof massage be?”

“N-”

“Oh! Speaking of which. I’ll be right back!” Scootaloo zipped away before Rainbow could respond.

“Oh this’ll be so wonderful!” Fluttershy clapped her hooves in excitement. “I’ve never done a hoof massage treatment with you before. I’m sure it’ll be wonderful.”

“NO IT WON’T!” Rainbow shouted in Fluttershy’s face. It made Fluttershy snap out of her excitement and replace it with worry.

“Rainbow, what’s wrong? Do you not want us to help?” Rainbow was about to respond when Scootaloo returned.

“Here it is!” When Rainbow looked to see what Scootaloo was carrying, she screamed.

“Where did you get that?!” she shouted. Scootaloo was carrying some sort of ointment that was meant to relax your hooves when they were applied.

“Oh… wasn’t that one of your gifts from your last birthday party?” Fluttershy asked. Rainbow’s eyes became pea-sized right then.

“Yeah, it was!” Scootaloo responded. “Good thing I know where Rainbow keeps all her stuff!”

“STOOOOOOOOP!” Rainbow shouted at the top of her lungs and threw both her hooves from side to side. Both Scootaloo and Fluttershy froze and became silent. Deep breaths were coming from Rainbow Dash as sweat slid from her head. She got their attention. Now what? All she wanted them to do was stop. That happened, but she had nothing to follow it up. Only silence came. As a result, Fluttershy came to her side.

“Are you okay?” she asked. Rainbow stuttered her breaths.

“I… I don’t… I…” Rainbow was afraid. The last thing she wanted was ponies touching her hooves, especially when they were aching. She would never admit just how sensitive they were. Although she wouldn’t have trouble telling that to Fluttershy, it was a much different story with Scootaloo. It was bad enough that Scootaloo believed she actually enjoyed that, but to tell her the real reason?

“Come on, Rainbow. We promise we’ll be gentle. There’s nothing to be afraid of, right Scootaloo?” A few aching grunts escaped Rainbow’s breath. She wanted to yell again, but how would she follow that up besides more silence?

“I’ve only heard examples from Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle, but sure! I can help!”

Fluttershy smiled. “Good. Let’s start by taking off those-”

“Gah!” Rainbow’s hooves flinched away when Scootaloo and Fluttershy attempted to reach for them.

“Please be still Rainbow Dash. This will only take a second. Or can you take them off?” Rainbow held them back for a few more seconds while they shook. With a gulp, she let them straighten back out. Fluttershy and Scootaloo reached for her hooves again. This time, they managed to grab the casts, but it resulted in Rainbow vibrating intensely, making her screams vibrate. Even her wings vibrated. Suddenly, her wings made her body dart upwards harshly. She was in the air, gasping harshly in pain when she felt a sharp ache rush to her hooves. At least the casts were removed, but she could literally feel all her blood rushing to them.

“What’s wrong with Rainbow Dash?” Scootaloo asked.

Fluttershy gave a determined look. This was gonna be more difficult than she thought, but she knew what to do. “Her hooves must really hurt so much,” she said as she flew up to Rainbow’s altitude. Rainbow looked away and attempted to cover up her hind hooves again. Then she felt Fluttershy’s hoof softly rubbing against her cheek.

“Just stay calm Rainbow. Please sit down and relax. It hurts now, but the more you struggle, the more it’ll hurt.” Fluttershy gently tugged Rainbow by the forehoof to lead her back down to her bed. Stuttering her breaths, Rainbow allowed herself to be brought back down. Her wings sprawled out on the bed, shivering.

“Scootaloo, get the ointment ready, and be extra careful.” Rainbow started tensing up again, but Fluttershy turned back to her before her nerves went into overdrive again. “Just look at me Rainbow, and relax. Don’t pay attention to anything else. Don’t even think on it. Just look at me.”

The soothing voice of Fluttershy helped Rainbow’s nerves calm down. She was still breathing heavily, and she still wanted to move away. But with Fluttershy looking with her eyes like that, she couldn’t even think about looking away. Those eyes were practically sending her into a trance. It was as if Rainbow was experiencing what a Stare felt like. Except that Stare, was scaring away her fear.

Meanwhile Scootaloo was reading the directions for how to apply this stuff. It seemed to start off simple. Opening the cap, she slowly dipped her hoof in it and took another look at the directions. The liquid was a light blue that closely resembled Rainbow’s coat color. With the directions in mind, she slowly moved the gel towards Rainbow’s left hind hoof, or to Rainbow, would be her right. And then, it made contact.

Rainbow Dash immediately tensed harshly when she felt the gel, as well as Scootaloo’s hoof touching her own. “Relax Rainbow. You’re doing great.” Fluttershy said as she held Rainbow’s forehoof in her own. Her eyes turned to Scootaloo quickly. “Circular motions, Scootaloo. Gently.” She turned her eyes back to Rainbow, placing a hoof on her chest.

Rainbow could feel just how intense her heart was beating from Fluttershy’s pressure. Fluttershy’s hoof was sending a huge chill along her features, which helped settle the feelings on her hind hoof right now. The sloshing coldness spreading around her hoof echoed in her ears. She tried to pull her hoof back, but her legs wouldn’t move. As a result, her hoof could only bend backwards as the gel stimulated her aches into a rather agonizing, yet cooling rush.

“There we go. Now the other one Scootaloo.” Fluttershy didn’t look away from Rainbow this time. In fact, she brought herself closer. Rainbow’s forehoof was gripping onto Fluttershy’s rather harshly, which was good as it was allowing Rainbow to release her stress. She released another agonizing grunt when Scootaloo started applying the other hind hoof. Her other forehoof ended up latching onto Fluttershy’s as a result, squeezing even harder. The grip made Fluttershy grunt slightly. It was quite a tight squeeze.

“Good job Rainbow. Mmh... Just a little longer.” Fluttershy rubbed her other forehoof along Rainbow’s forehead to wipe away the sweat. It must’ve been difficult if her hooves really were that sensitive. But she knew Rainbow Dash. She was strong. And she knew Rainbow could get through this.

“And, done,” Scootaloo announced, stepping back and placing her hoof on the cap. “How was that?” she asked.

Rainbow closed her eyes and panted as the agony ceased. Now that her hind hooves were covered in that gel, most of the pain went away. She could still feel the blood in her hooves swirling in a very awkward way, creating pulses that stimulated a strange comfort. It was cold while her body was warm.

Seeing Rainbow being able to relax, Fluttershy looked at the job Scootaloo did. Looked like she did a pretty fine job. The gel covered both her hooves well like they had been dipped in the jar themselves, without an overflow that would cause them to drip. Fluttershy smiled.

“Wonderful!” Fluttershy took a quick look to Rainbow. Her eyes were closed, but she was breathing steadily. It seemed she was ready for the next step, so Fluttershy left her side to get that ready. She was sure she knew what the next step was, but to be sure… “Scootaloo? What do the instructions say next?”

Scootaloo proceeded to check that. “Hmm… Sounds like it wants us to... continue rubbing the gel… until it… dries?”

Fluttershy nodded her head. It was as she thought. “I’ll take it from here,” she said.

Rainbow Dash was experiencing very mixed feelings of panic, comfort, and ache. Her eyes stayed closed as she felt every rhythm her body was performing. The blood flowing through her hind hooves made them feel heavy, almost like they wanted to pop. With the gel covering them, it stimulated her pain in a strangely comforting way. She could feel the light air breezing against them.

Rainbow’s trance was broken with widened eyes and a gasp when she felt Fluttershy make contact with her hooves. Her muscles tensed and her teeth gritted. She could feel the tip of Fluttershy’s hoof slide and scratch around the edges of her hind. They moved with her hind’s uncontrollable bends, threatening to just break away. But the thing preventing them from doing so was not only her will, but the help of Fluttershy’s other hoof keeping it in place.

“Good job Rainbow! You’re doing wonderful!” Rainbow was breathing in and out deeply while Fluttershy worked. Her hoof was undergoing pain due to the massage. But it wasn’t a pain the type of pain that felt bad. It was pain that felt like it was hurting the aches moreso than her hoof, much like when she would stretch.

“Hey. Can I help?” Scootaloo asked. It was somewhat drowned out by Rainbow’s moans, but Fluttershy managed to hear.

“Sure Scootaloo. Just do what I do and rub firmly, but gently.” Scootaloo nodded and moved towards, well, to Rainbow would be her left hind hoof. “Not too hard, and not too soft.” Fluttershy finished.

Both of Rainbow’s forehooves gripped harshly against her sheets when she felt the second pair of hooves grip on her left hind. She could feel every detail of the firm touches being placed on them. The smaller ones rubbed its soles along the insides and outer edges of her hoof, feeling the gel drying up and soothing the aches. Then the bigger ones on her right started tapping the outside layer of her hoof, pressing against the softer parts. Each tap made her grunt. Overtime, those grunts were turning pleasant. All the agony was starting to turn into a rather pleasant experience.

The gel had all dried up, but Fluttershy and Scootaloo continued rubbing for good measure. Rainbow could no longer feel the pain from her hind hooves being rubbed. For a moment, she was worried that the sensitivity of her hooves would cause her to kick Fluttershy and Scootaloo out of her home, just like they did with the doctors at the hospital. Somehow, Fluttershy’s comforts kept herself maintained. The best part, or worst part, she couldn’t tell yet, was that Scootaloo was witnessing it.

“Hmm?” Scootaloo cocked an eyebrow when she looked at the directions again. “For… maximum effect, use… saliva?” Fluttershy stopped the rubbing when she heard that, providing a questioning hum. “Well, if the instructions say so. If Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom do it, then...”

Scootaloo proceeded to release her tongue and move forward, leaving Fluttershy with widened eyes. She didn’t get a chance to say anything before Scootaloo’s tongue made contact on Rainbow’s hoof, licking slowly up.

Rainbow’s eyes flung open with her teeth biting her lips harshly. The feeling of something warm and wet sliding on her left hind hoof caused her right to jolt back. Fluttershy nearly yelped from that sudden thrust in her grip. Scootaloo continued licking though. Although the hooves were covered in gel a moment ago, they seemed to dry enough so that the taste was gone. Not that she was curious as to what it tasted like, but at least the taste was clean.

Fluttershy began to blush from what she was witnessing. Every lick Scootaloo made caused Rainbow to jolt. She could see Rainbow’s wings twisting themselves and pressing against the bed. Rainbow wasn’t restrained. So if she wasn’t liking it, or if it was too much for her, she would’ve blasted off right then and there.

“W-Well… if the instructions say that… then…” Fluttershy decided to follow what Scootaloo did. She re-grabbed Rainbow’s right hind hoof, causing Rainbow to flinch. After gently tugging the hoof towards her, another blush came before she let her tongue out, slowly sliding her tongue from the bottom to the top.

Rainbow was releasing harsh gasping moans again. She desperately tried keeping her eyes up since she couldn’t close them anymore. But she was feeling every detail of what was happening to her hooves. Both tongues slid gently along the soles of her hinds, one bigger than the other. With her left, she could feel the tongue sliding from bottom to top repeatedly, and changing positions each time. It started from the left side, sliding somewhat against the outer layer. Then it shifted to the right side, doing the same thing. When it slid through the center, her hind hoof desperately bent backwards, trying to escape the tongue's touches, proving helpless since her legs refused to move. Saliva could be felt left behind.

Rainbow could feel even more detail on her right hind hoof. Those details were tickling her, causing her to laugh. The tongue not only slid up along her hoof, it also slid down without releasing contact. When it got to the center of her sole, it started sliding in circular motions, making sure the saliva covered as much of her sole as it could. She felt something else warm and slimy other than the tongue. It felt like the inside walls of a mouth. They moved to the top of her hoof and latched on, where she could feel a gentle tap of bone, which was probably teeth.

Rainbow’s cheeks turned a bright pink. Her right hind hoof was starting to be sucked on, as well as nipped slightly. The odd thing was, those nips didn’t hurt at all. But they sure tickled quite a bit. She was finding it so difficult to keep her legs in place. They would not be able to hold still if it wasn’t for their hooves helping to restrain her own. Even their breaths were tickling her.

There was one more motion. The tongue on her right hind started doing large circular motions along her hoof. It didn’t quite reach the bottom of her hoof, but it mostly slid along the edges of the top and its sides. Saliva was pouring down Fluttershy’s lips, drenching Rainbow’s hoof like a heavy waterfall soaking her.

Eventually, the rhythm became rather relaxing. Rainbow found herself somehow enjoying the tickling feeling. Her harsh laughter began calming to a point where they sounded casual and happy. She could close her eyes again, but her limbs remained in place. Sliding on the left, sucking on the right. Breathing on the left, nipping on the right. Those were the most prominent details she felt on each side. They were both pleasantly relaxing.

The licking ceased. Fluttershy and Scootaloo released their hold on Rainbow’s hooves. Rainbow’s laughter became silent. There was careful breathing coming from Rainbow, while Fluttershy was rubbing her cheeks from embarrassment. She had no idea what got over her. When she got going, it all just became so natural to her.

“So… how did I do?” Scootaloo asked, making Fluttershy blush more.

“U-Um… pretty good, I think. Rainbow Dash?” Fluttershy tried turning the question to Rainbow, wondering if she found it all alright. Rainbow released a few more pants before answering.

“Yeah…” she answered slowly. “You… could say that.” But to Rainbow, that was an understatement. The aches on her hooves had all but vanished. She could still feel the saliva drenched on her hooves. They trickled along her hooves slowly, moreso on her right. It tickled a bit, but the air blowing on them made it feel so nice. Waves of chilling pleasure filled her body feeling that saliva trickle down like that.

“Ahh! Cool!” Scootaloo shouted, excitingly fluttering her wings. “If Rainbow Dash liked it that much, they must not be as lame as I heard they were!” Fluttershy flinched when Scootaloo rushed past her. She suddenly stopped and looked back. “Hey Fluttershy? Do you think next time we do this, you can teach me how to do what you did? I-I mean, if Rainbow Dash is okay with doing this again.”

Fluttershy’s cheeks burned even more red than before. “U-u-um… u-uh…”

“Yeah… I’d be down… for it…” Rainbow interrupted, still a bit dazed in her pleasant world.

“Awesome! I’ll see you guys later then! Maybe tomorrow!” Scootaloo rushed out of the house excitedly, leaving Fluttershy stunned. She wasn’t sure why this experience made it feel so wrong, yet so right at the same time. Turning to Rainbow, she had to ask.

“Isn’t Scootaloo a bit, too excited for this?” she asked. Rainbow managed to recover enough to sit herself up.

“What? It’s just a hoof massage. What’s wrong with that?”

It was shocking to Fluttershy that Rainbow would answer that so casually. If it had been one hour ago, Rainbow most likely would’ve answered differently. Her eyes turned to the bottle that had the gel for the massage. Seeing that gift she prepared made her smile. That wasn’t such a regretful mystery gift after all. Or maybe it was. She had a hard time telling.

Fluttershy’s smile faded when she noticed the instructions. She looked closer to it for a better look. Her eyes went wide.

“You okay Fluttershy?”

Fluttershy’s cheeks couldn’t get any redder. The instructions that Scootaloo read about using saliva, it was meant to be used with a rag. For some reason, it never occurred to her that Scootaloo possibly skipped or read the instructions wrong.

And then, looking to Rainbow, Fluttershy thought maybe the reason it didn’t occur to her, was because she secretly wanted it that way. Was that right?

In the end, it was just a hoof massage, right?
