“Chapter 1: Rise of the new Green Ranger”
Intro: Everybody Wants To Rule The World (Lorde version):
Canterlot, Equestria, Planet Harmony
Twilight Sparkle signed as today despite having date with Flash Sentry was filled with shit from the Traditionalists trying to stall her plans for modernizing Equestria from having ponies having a bigger voice to allowing to creatures of different species to marry.
On top of her shit cake, she got into an argument with Rainbow Dash over the latter’s temper problems with the Wonderbolts to which the speed demon Pegasus pony demanded that she use her power as a princess to be placed in the Wonderbolts in a snap.
Twilight maybe a Princess of Equestria, but she was not about to use her position on the grounds of nepotism that didn’t go well with Rainbow Dash who snapped at her and left while saying she hated her while refusing to hear her problems Twilight tried to explain to her that included solutions to working well with the Wonderbolts.
Lately however, Princesses Luna and Celestia informed her at dinner a few hour ago that there was now a killer at large as two nobles and five Royal Guards were dead, but strangely enough, only things that were missing was anything gold related. If things could get worse, the Alicorn Amulet was also among the stolen items.
As she stripped down to her black bra and panties in her guest room in Canterlot Castle, she knew that she had to figure out who it was before the Traditionalists blamed her for it as well as moments later, she then retrieved the Green Ranger coin she had found earlier from her purse and set it under her pillow as a thing to help her sleep well.
Ever since she had become a Princess of Equestria, she had been verbally assaulted by a lot of pony’s chief among them, Amadeus Blueblood Prince Blueblood’s father. That stallion was the type of pony that was a king of all things anypony would connect a swear word to him.
For a moment, she thought of resigning, but she knew that she could never give up as she had her family and friends beside her including Princess Celestia after looking at a few photos of them before she then turned in for the night unaware of the plan unfolding from the shadows.
Outside her room, a group of cloaked figures were approaching the room Twilight slept as they were all conversing about their sinister plan for the newest Princess of Equestria.
“Well, are we doing this or what?”
“We’re murdering a princess! Do you think that’s a little too far to save this land?”
“Shut up! Do you want us to get busted? Besides, we have a tool to help us out greatly…”
One of the figures then drew a dagger, but it was no ordinary dagger as another one spoke up at the green metal that shined like an evil tooth belonging to a demon.
“Is that?”
“Aye, Orichailcum the metal that can harm dragons and Alicorns with ease. Wasn’t that hard for the boss to get as all it took was seducing a mare who knew the location of the mine of this stuff and boom, we have it now. Besides, we’re here so we need to haul flank now.”
With the weapons in hand, the five figures crept into the room as the all soon surrounded the sleeping princess as one of them soon spoke up quickly.
“Well, who wants to go first?”
One of them spoke, “I, Gallant Heart will go first.”
Unknown to the assassins, Rita Repulsa heard their conversation outside of the room and now via the Green Ranger coin and wasn’t about to let her chance of vengeance against the Power Rangers and Zordon slip away as she spoke to herself.
“Not on my watch boys…besides, that metal color matches perfectly with my armor…Also, I need her for my plans…”
Then suddenly just as Gallant Heart was prepared to slit Twilight’s throat, Rita all of a sudden jumped down from the rafters of the roof she was hiding in earlier that caused her to unleash an energy burst that caused everyone including Twilight to be sent into the air, but soon the assassins were on the floor as Rita then stood up and looked at them.
The assassins soon looked at whoever stopped them from killing Twilight as they then saw a figure obviously female clad in some dark armor wielding a golden staff with a dark red coin in the top part of her staff as soon, the helmet part of the Rita’s armor soon then showed her face to them as they were frozen still from fear at what they were staring at; Rita Repulsa.
One of the assassins then spoke, “What is going on here?!”
It was then that Rita used her staff to dress up her future Green Ranger in a green muscle shirt, black shorts, and gray sneakers before she then lowered her to the ground, placed the coin she once had in the left pocket of Twilight’s shorts, and then seized control of the Princess of Friendship.
Then Twilight spoke, but to the horror of the assassins, the voice that came out wasn’t Twilight’s, but rather it was someone else as a darker, more sinister voice came out of Twilight as her eyes turned green as well as Rita’s staff glowed showing that she was in control of Twilight.
“Five little fools trying to kill a princess in her sleep, how cute…and very old fashion…did you all really think I was going to let you all destroy my chance of vengeance against Zordon and his new Power Rangers? I don’t think so…”
For a brief moment, Twilight returned to normal as she then looked at all of those who were actively trying to kill her right now including Gallant Heart who stared back at Twilight with his blue eyes that went with his brown fur and gold mane and tail as she then spoke up while ignoring Rita for the moment.
“Gallant, why?”
“I’m sorry Twilight, but they’ll kill my brother if I don’t go through with this!” Gallant shouted.
Then, the assassins saw Twilight’s eyes turn back into the shade of green they had seen just moments ago as Twilight then walked over to Rita and bowed before her as Twilight then spoke to the fallen Green Ranger.
“How may I be of service to my empress?”
Rita then smiled evilly as seconds later, she then used her staff to drain the assassins of their most of their magic as seconds later, they all dropped to the floor weakened, but still alive.
The former Green Ranger then smiled wickedly as she looked at her new Green Ranger and looked at the assassins who were all looking horrified at what they were seeing as Rita then walked over to Twilight and spoke to her.
“Now, morph my Green Ranger…and destroy these fools!”
Twilight then spoke, “It shall be done Empress Rita!”
In a flash, Twilight then morphed into the Green Ranger as she now had the same armor as Rita did during her time as the Green Ranger, but now she sported a golden shoulder piece that covered the diamond part on her chest, golden wrist bracelets, golden wing-blade covers over her wings, and one piece of gold on the tip of her horn to top it off.
“Now then, let’s have some fun…” Twilight said.
Using her new powers, Twilight darted towards the first assassin and slammed him into a wall before she then crushed his skull easily killing him with her new powers that merged with her magic as another tried to flank her, but Twilight did a back flip and snapped the neck with ease.
Nearby, Rita spoke, “Excellent, my Ranger…kill them all…”
One of the assassins tried to flee, but was soon sliced in half by Twilight’s new wing blades killing the only female among the group as Twilight then summoned a pair of swords similar to Jason the Red Ranger’s, but they were evil looking and were pure black.
Twilight then engaged the second-to-last one with a furious speed as she managed to catch the blade of her would-be-assassin and using the other blade, she cut off the arm with the dagger and quickly decapitated the assassin killing him.
Her attention was now on Gallant Heart who tried to flee only to find that Rita had shut and locked it preventing him from fleeing as Twilight then spoke to him as the face part of her outfit dissolved to show her face that now had a nice slasher smile.
“My brother trusted you, he had faith in you, and you were at his wedding and this is how you reward me? By trying to murder me for what? To protect your worthless brother? You should’ve realized that trying to kill me was not the best idea of who ever set you up to this job. And now, I’m going to kill you…”
Gallant Heart then charged forward and the two engaged in a vicious sword battle to the death that went inside Twilight’s guest chambers that Gallant struggled to keep up due to most of his magic being drained as then, Twilight sliced off both of Gallant’s hands leaving him defenseless.
Before the final blow could be struck, Rita told her Green Ranger to stop as she had some things she still needed from the traitorous Royal Guard.
“You are going to tell me how to get back to Earth so I can get the Zeo Crystal and complete my vengeance against Zordon and his Power Rangers…” Rita said.
“I…I don’t know! I don’t know about this Earth or this Zeo Crystal or for that matter about Zordon or Power Rangers! I do know who set me to do this!” Gallant said with fear.
He didn’t need to tell her as Rita then used her staff to probe Gallant’s mind for information as she then found what she was looking for and then had her Green Ranger kill him seconds later.
They both soon heard footsteps as Rita quickly disguised herself as a fly to hide as Twilight de-morphed as more Royal Guards soon appeared as one of them spoke up.
“Princess Twilight! Are you okay?!”
Twilight then spoke, “I’m fine, though the same can’t be said for those traitors who tried to kill me, got to leave now so, smell ya later loser!”
Rita then landed on Twilight’s left shoulder and before the Night Guard could process what happened next, Rita changed back into her human form and teleported away with Twilight in tow.
Back on Earth, Alpha 5 a robot servant and friend of Zordon was busy congratulating the Power Rangers on another job well done with defeating a pair of criminals-turned-monsters when all of a sudden, Zordon’s voice blared out to the group.
“Alpha! You and the Rangers need to be back inside now! We have a crisis on her hands!”
Wasting no time, all five Rangers and Alpha 5 were soon the same chamber as Zordon who then appeared with a grave look of concern on his face that all of them saw it meant it was bad news.
“What is it Zordon? Is Rita back again?” Jason asked.
Jason was the new Red Ranger and leader of the team and was a normal, if not flawed former football star turned hero who sported a light red shirt and jeans as Zordon then spoke to him.
“I’m afraid…Jason, she is and it is a lot worse than before…”
Billy then spoke, “Like how worse? Like taken to 11 worse?”
“It’s worse than that, she’s managed to create a new Green Ranger, but this time she isn’t wearing the outfit.” Zordon said.
“Who is it Zordon?” Zack asked.
Zordon then brought up an image of Rita clad in a new armor, but it was dark blue and gold that was similar to the outfit she had when she was still on Zordon’s team, but right next to her bowing was a creature none of the Rangers had seen.
Scratching his black hair, Zack spoke, “Who or what is that?”
“It looks like an Alicorn Zack, my grandma used to have artwork of it in her house before she died when I was still a cheerleader.” Kimberly said.
Kimberly the new Pink Ranger looked at Zach the new Black Ranger before she briefly looked at Trini the new Yellow Ranger as she then let her hazel eyes rest on Zordon as she then spoke to him.
“What do you want us to do Zordon?”
Zordon then spoke, “You’re going to where Rita is at and stop her from using another innocent to do her dirty work. If she manages to harness all of her magical powers, Rita will have more than enough power to get the Zeo Crystal and kill all of you unless we stop her.”
“What about that Alicorn? We can’t just let Rita use her like a puppet!” Trini said.
“You’re right about that, get some things and we’ll be gone for a while.” Zordon said.
“What about the Zeo Crystal? Rita said others would come for it…” Billy said.
Jason then spoke, “Remember that creepy Apex lady we met? I think she can handle guarding it as the crystal will hurt those not worthy and it can’t be removed without killing all life on Earth. What I recommend is that a few of us stay here on Earth while the rest of us go and stop this new Green Ranger.”
With some quick planning and discussion, the Rangers left the ship and came back with stuff to get for their weakened trip to their next destination: Equestria.
Just as they were ready to be teleported away, Billy then spoke up, “Wait, about us all having to report to detention?”
“I don’t think we have to worry about that as Alpha managed to send a note to our families and the school saying we’re camping this weekend, but we'll make up for the missing day when we get back.” Jason said quickly.
“Okay then….” Billy said.
Then, the rangers were soon on their way to Equestria as on the other hand deep in the caves of Canterlot, Rita was sitting in a throne made up of the armor of Twilight’s would-be-killers as she was smiling as her Green Ranger bowed to her and spoke to her.
“What is the next task my empress?” Twilight asked.
“Oh, I have a few ideas…” Rita said.
Seconds later, she let out an evil laugh that echoed through the caves as she then teleported her new Green Ranger unmorphed in all form back to Canterlot castle where Princess Luna greeted her.
Her flowing mane that resembled the night sky shone with concern as did her teal eyes as she was clad in a nice gray toga-like dress as she then spoke to Twilight.
“Twilight, I have heard what happened, come with me and you will thy stay in my royal bed chambers to keep you safe until this blows over.”
While Twilight followed the Princess of the Night, Rita on the other hand smiled at what she was thinking of next as the Power Rangers were soon arriving to Equestria and appearing near Ponyville…
