Day Five

"Hey, guys!" Scootaloo said walking in the kitchen. "Where's Aurora?" She asked. "Probably still asleep," Sweetie said sipping a cup of hot cocoa. "And Blaze?" And Sweetie pointed at the couch with Blaze sleeping on it.

"Oh," Scootaloo said. "Well, where's Apple Bloom?" She asked.

"She's in the cafe. Buying cocoa." Sweetie shrugged.

"That's weird. She could've just made one here." She giggled. She looked at Blaze and saw his bite marks. "What do you think it feels like to be a vampire?" Scootaloo curiously asked. "I don't know I don't want to burn in the sun, live forever, and have a thirst for blood." She explained.

"Really? You don't think that it would be fun to be a vampire for a day?" Scootaloo urged. "Yeah, we don't know anyone who can do that, if Blaze or Aurora bites us we'll permanently be vampires," Sweetie said.

"How about Twilight? When we go home later we can ask her if she has a spell for that!" She suggested. "Scootaloo, I don't know I mean what if yo--"

"You guys want to be vampires?" Aurora interrupted walking behind the two surprising them. "What? No... no, we don't want to be..." Scootaloo said nervously.

"What? I won't bite." Aurora giggled.

Apple Bloom walked in holding a cup of cocoa. "Man, the cocoa in their place is amazing!" She complained. "What were you doing there exactly?" Aurora asked.

"Well, making cocoa isn't exactly my thing." She said.

"Why couldn't you have ask Scootaloo or Sweetie Belle?" Blaze walked in scratching his head. "Aurora. Please never make me drink alcoholic cider." He said causing Aurora to giggle.

"Oh come on it's not like you haven't gotten drunk before." She said.

"Anyways, you guys want to hang out at Red's?" Blaze asked.

"We'll just stay at the castle, we haven't been there for four straight days," Scootaloo said sheepishly. "The guards might be concerned."

"Oh, alright. I'll ask Red and then Aurora and I will just be at his place." He said. "Actually I'll just stay in my place," Aurora said. "Why?" Scootaloo asked. "Listen I know you guys want to hang out with us but I don't think I'll fit in with you guys," Aurora said referring to Blaze.

"Oh, alright, so I guess we'll meet at the train station before we leave Ponyville?" Blaze suggested. "Yeah, sounds cool what time does your train leave?" She asked.

"Seven pm I think," Sweetie said.

"Alright, we'll pack all of our stuff, while you hang out." Apple Bloom said.

"Seems legit. Nothing wrong with that I guess." Sweetie said.

"Wait what about Summer?" Aurora asked. "Nah, don't worry. He just got his cutie mark he's probably freaking out somewhere with his friends." Sweetie said.

****

"Alright, she's the only friend I need to call." Summer said levitating a telephone.

"Hello?" Said the voice on the phone.

"OH MY CELESTIA, WINTER I FINALLY GOT MY CUTIE MARK!" He yelled on the phone.

"Summer? That's great but it's still early. I'm still sleeping." Winter complained.

"Alright, bye!" He said ending the call.

****

"Alright then, let's see each other at the train station or at the castle?" Sweetie said.

"Let's just see each other at the castle I don't want us leaving each other." Scootaloo scoffed. "Alright, I'll be at the castle by six-thirty, that sounds good?" Blaze asked.

"Okay that sounds great I'll see you ponies at the castle later." Blaze said walking out the front door.

"Hey, Aurora," Scootaloo said. "Yeah?" She asked. "Umm, let's visit each other when we're available." She grinned causing the others to let out an "aww".

"Sure, we'll do that!" She smiled.

"Kay, bye guys!" Blaze said.

"Bye!"

****

Red Feather was inside his parent's house, which is now his house, fixing the old furniture when knocks were heard on the door. "I'll be there in a sec!" He said running toward the door opening it revealing it to be Blaze, in his changeling form. "Um, may I help you?" Red asked confused

"You don't remember me?" Blaze asked.

"No, I don't remember being friends with a changeling," Red said about to close the door.

"I'm Blaze! Blazing Metal? Your old best friend when we were in the third grade?" He said.

"Blaze? You're a changeling?" Red asked.

"I guess I never told you that huh?" He said.

"Yeah, so... what do you want?" Red said opening the door so Blaze can enter.

"Since we haven't been talking for five years, I'm guessing you wanna to catch up with things we missed?" Blaze suggested.

"Yeah, alright, sounds cool," Red said smiling.

****

"Hey, crusaders I think I just found Blaze's headphones." Apple Bloom said holding the pink headphones. "Oh sweet! I can listen to Blaze's music player with a better quality!" Scootaloo said grabbing his player.

"You still have his music player?" Sweetie said. "Yeah, here's your earbuds, never liked them anyways," Scootaloo answered and Sweetie Belle grumbled.

"You shouldn't take his music player." Sweetie Belle scolded. "He has Paramare and Pony! At The Disco! Why wouldn't you listen to that? They're awesome bands!" Scootaloo protested.

"Are you serious? Give me the music player!" Sweetie yelled excitedly and Scootaloo giggled giving Blaze's music player to her.

"Why does Blaze carry another set of earbuds? And he wears glasses!?" Apple Bloom said snooping through Blaze's stuff. "How come we don't see him wear it?" Scootaloo asked.

"Maybe they're like reading glasses," Sweetie said wearing the glasses. "Hello I am Blazing Metal and I have glasses I'm a vampire and I got bit by Scootaloo's marefriend." She said doing an impression of Blaze causing Scootaloo and Apple Bloom to giggle.

****

"I still have the pictures when we were younger," Red said grabbing a photo album, opening it.

"Hope there are no embarrassing pictures." Blaze joked.

"No promises." He said showing a picture to Blaze.

"Oh Celestia, it's my glasses." He said covering his face with his hoof, blushing. "Do you still have your glasses?" He asked chuckling.

"Yeah I still have my glasses I don't use them a lot except when I'm reading." He said.

"Hmm, did you bring it?" Red asked. "Yeah. It's in my..." He suddenly facehoofed. "I left it at the place we're staying at. Nevermind I still have magic." He said his horn glowing a faint orange aura.

****

"My turn!" Scootaloo said grabbing Blaze's glasses and they suddenly disappeared into thin air.

"Did you break his glasses?" Apple Bloom asked.

"Uhh, Maybe he won't notice. I mean he didn't know that his headphones were here right?" Scootaloo said nervously.

****

Blaze held out his hoof and his glasses appeared. "Alright," He said and he put the glasses on. "Do I still look adorable like I was in the photo?" He asked copying the pose of himself as a filly.

"Yeah, just be a pony and remove the beanie and earrings, which are awesome by the way," Red said. "I just got it this Monday." Blaze bragged

"You still have the bracelet I gave you?" Blaze pointed at the spiked bracelet.

"Yeah, it's cool. Do you still have yours?" Red asked.

"I don't wear it that much though. I guess my fashion changed since I moved to Ponyville." He said.

"You don't live here anymore?" He repeated.

"Yeah, I moved like two years ago. I live with Pinkie Pie, do you know her?" He explained.

"No I don't know anyone from Ponyville so," He said scrolling through the pictures. "Oh look, it's you and Minty." He said pointing at a mint green unicorn.

Blaze blushed. "Oh... yeah Minty." He said. "I heard his gay now," Red said unaware of Blaze blushing. "Yeah, I already knew that..." He whispered. "Are you alright? You don't look great." He said.

He looked at Blaze and the picture several times before letting out a gasp. "You were his coltfriend were you?!" He exclaimed.

"Y-yeah... pretty weird right?" He said chuckling nervously. "Was he a great coltfriend?" He sneered. "Yeah, he was awesome. He didn't have any... you know. We just kissed and had lunch together and stuff." He said dreamily. "Aww, you look cute when you 're thinking of him." Red giggled.

"Anyways, have you seen our other schoolmates? Like Shooter and Jassy?" He said dismissing the subject.

"Uh, the zebra and the deer? Didn't they used to hate us?" He joked.

"Oh, please you couldn't stop drooling every time you saw Jasmine." Red reminded chuckling.

"I'm sorry I wasn't the one who kissed her lips!" He retorted and Red blushed. "Hey! It was a dare!" He answered back while Blaze was giggling.

"Man, we used to hang out with each other a lot." He said. "It's scary how Shooter was a pro at bow and arrow," Red said. "She still is, she has a cutie mark of it." Blaze said.

"I wonder what happened to Jasmine," Red said. "She lives with Minty they're roommates in Ponyville." Blaze explained.

"How do you know all this?" Red questioned. "We still talk to each other. As for Shooter, she lives in the Everfree in a village with other zebras." He continued. "How come we never heard anything from you?" Blaze inquired.

"See, my folks are extremely strict. They didn't let me go outside unless it's necessary, they never made me listen to music, and they never made me have outside communication." He said. "And you know us, we're always cranky. So talking back to them never got me anywhere." He said sitting down on a dusty chair.

"And then one day, they got sick of me and forced me to live by myself. Which is what I'm doing right know at this moment." He said sighing heavily.

"Wow, I'm sorry Red. I never you had neglectful parents." He said patting the griffon's back. "Whatever, anyways. Neglectful or not I still love them. They're my parents." He said confidently.

"Wow, so much determination." Blaze giggled.

Meanwhile, in Aurora's house, several knocks were heard.

"Aurora?" Said her mom from the other side of the door. Aurora opened the door to let her mom in. "Hey, mom. Long time no see. Where's dad?" She said hugging her parents. "He still stuck in Baltimare, he won't be here until next week." She said

"Anyways, so how was your alone with with your friends?" Asked her mom. "Well, nothing really except I'm seeing someone." She said sheepishly. "Oh! Aurora that's great! How is she? Is she great in bed?" Her mom joked.

"MOM!" Aurora yelled blushing. "Alright, I'm sorry. She from here?" She asked eagerly.

She sighed. "She's going to leave tonight." She said disappointedly. "Oh honey, maybe you can visit her?" Her mom suggested. "Nah, we don't have enough bits." She said.

"How about you move with her to Ponyville?" Hey mom suggested once again. "Mom, please don't make jokes."

"No I'm serious. Remember how you always wanted to move to schools because you think everypony here in Canterlot is too stuck up?" She said and Aurora nodded. "Yeah," She said excitedly. "Well, we decided to move you and enroll you to a better school!" She said excitedly and Aurora has tears falling down her eyes. "Mom, this is the best thing ever!" She said hugging her mother. "I'm gonna miss you, sweetie." She said wiping tears from her cheek.

"I'll make sure to visit you guys!" She said. "I'm going to pack my stuff now!" She said running to her bedroom. "No worries, sweetie. We already sent your things to Ponyville before we left, except for your personal stuff. You'll be staying with ponies actually one of them a deer, named Minty Stardust and Jasmine Fawn." She said.

"Is this why you lied about us moving somewhere?" Aurora smirked. "Yes, sweetie we did. We wanted it to keep it a secret." Her mom said and Aurora ran to her mom and hugged her once more. "You're the best mom ever." She muffled and her mom giggled. "I know."

"Wait how about dad? When he's sick who'll fill in for him?" Aurora asked. "I'll do it, sweetie." She said smiling.
****

"Hey, how about you live in Ponyville with me?" Blaze suggested to Red. "Really? How about my education?" He asked concerned. "Oh don't worry I'm acquaintances with the princess of friendship." He grinned. "Wow, Blaze are you sure? I mean you're just living with another pony." Red reminded.

"How about you live with Jassy and Minty?" He suggested. "Hmm, better than living in this dump I guess, I'll do it!" He exclaimed.

"Awesomesauce! I'll help you pack your stuff... again." Blaze said and the two laughed.

****

Canterlot 6:25 PM

"Wow, that took us like fifty minutes to pack." Blaze said.

"Anyways it's almost six-thirty. Wanna go to the cafe?" Red suggested.

"Yeah sure, I'll have to tell Aurora, Summer, and the Crusaders though." He said. "Alright well you have magic, why don't you just send them a letter or something," Red said.

"Alright, you have paper and a pen?" He said. "Yeah, here." He said grabbing a paper and pen from a dusty coffee table.

"Alright then."

Let's meet at the cafe before we leave, Blaze. He wrote

"Okay," he said and made two more letters before sending them with his magic. "Let's go then," Red said opening the front door.

****

"Oh thank Celestia we're done packing, and mostly snooping through Blaze's things." Sweetie Belle said. "With our most helpful friend, Scootaloo." She said looking at Scootaloo, reading Blaze's book, Percy Jackson. "Man, this book is interesting."

Suddenly a note dropped from Apple Bloom's head, she picked it up and opened it. "Let's meet at the cafe before we leave, Blaze." She read out loud. "Alright then, crusaders! Let's meet at the cafe one last time, Sweetie Belle you carry our bags!" She led causing Sweetie to grumble.

****

"Mom, by personal stuff you meant my music player right?" Aurora yelled from her room. "Yes, sweetie, by your nightstand and your hoodie is hanging behind your door!" She answered back.

Aurora noticed a faint flash from her nightstand. She inspected the flash to reveal a scroll, she opened it and read it.

She grinned. "Awesome, now I can tell them the news." And she grabbed her hoodie and iPod. "Mom, I'm gonna leave now!" She said carrying her saddlebags and walked towards the kitchen. "Alright sweetie," She hugged her daughter one last time. "Send us a letter when you get there."

"I will." And she walked out her house.

****

"Summer! There's a scroll in the living room!" Summer's mom yelled from downstairs.

"What? Alright, I'll be right there!" He said and he jumped out of the bed.

"Who is it from?" He asked taking the scroll. "Let's meet at the cafe before we leave, Blaze." And he suddenly turned solemn. "Oh right, Blaze is leaving tonight." He said disappointedly.

"Aww, don't worry dear. We can still visit him!" His mom said trying to cheer up Summer. "Alright then," He said his mood changing once more. "Alright, thanks, mom! I'll see you at the train station at six-thirty!" He said.

"Summer! Bring your scarf it's cold outside!" She yelled. "Okay!" He said grabbing his blue scarf on a rack before leaving the house.

****

Blaze and Red were almost the cafe, talking to each other. "This is awesome. I'm gonna be living with our old friends again!" Red said.

"You missed a lot of stuff." Blaze said chuckling.

"Hey isn't that your brother?" Red said pointing at Summer with another pony. "And Aurora? That's her name right?" He said.

"Yeah, I think it is. Ari! Summer!" He yelled and the two turned around. "Hey, bro!" He said running towards his half-brother. "What's up with the scarf?" Blaze asked. "It's cold outside." Summer answered. "Nice hoodie Ari. I like it!" He said. "Thanks!" She answered.

"I have awesome news for you guys!" Aurora said but before she could say anything the CMC walked by.

"Hey, guys! Coincidental that we arrived at the same time, right?" Sweetie said. "I'll tell you later," Aurora whispered to Blaze and they all walked inside the cafe.

****

-6:30 PM

"Anyways, what's the big secret?" Blaze asked Aurora excitedly. "You have news?" Apple Bloom asked. "Also Blaze you're still wearing your glasses." She pointed out.

"Meh, I don't care you guys already know anyways." He said taking a sip of his cocoa the steam from the chocolate caused it to build up on his glasses. "Ugh, darn it." He said and he levitated his glasses and cleaned them with his jacket.

"Blaze, can I borrow more of your books?" Scootaloo asked. "Wow, is there anything you didn't steal from me? First my iPod then my book?" He joked.

"Wait you knew?" She said. "You've been taking my jacket. And I know my iPod is always inside my jacket." He said.

"That's alright. Just remember to ask permission before taking it." He said and Scootaloo threw his iPod to him.

"Thanks,"

"Anyways, the big news!' Aurora interrupted. "I'm moving to Ponyville!" And all of them gasped. "What!?" They yelled simultaneously.

"Who are you living with?" Red asked. "Someponies named Jasmine and Sharp." Red and Blaze gasped. "Really?! Red was about to live with them too!" Blaze said excitedly. "Wow! Red and Aurora with us!" Scootaloo exclaimed.

"Oh shoot, it's 6:30! We might miss the train." Apple Bloom said.

"Okay, let's go to the station!" Red said carrying his saddlebags.

****

"One ticket to Ponyville," Red said to the stallion on the counter. "25 bits." He said. "Alright, here you go." He handed the amount of bit needed just in time as the train arrived at the station.

"Red! Here comes the train you're gonna miss it!" Blaze yelled. "Alright, alright! Here I come." He chuckled.

"All aboard! Last train to Ponyville!" Announced the conductor.

"Alright, bye big bro! Send us a letter when you get there!" Summer said waving goodbye with his mother beside him. "Bye, Blaze and his friends!" Clean Freak said and the train doors closed.

"Man, this is going to be exciting. I mean you guys living with us! I mean technically not living together but still!" Sweetie Belle exclaimed.

"And you'll be living with our old schoolmates!" Blaze continued.

"Yeah! New adventures for New Best Friends!" Aurora declared.
