Apple Bloom was talking a walk around Ponyville, though she was skipping around. She felt so happy, it felt really good. She let the sun beam down on her face, it felt so warm. The light of the sun made her feel more yellow, like her fur becoming brighter. She felt so alive.

As she continued to be happy, as she turned to see something odd on the strange. She didn't feel too happy anymore. There were detectives taking a look at something. The filly can hardly see what they're investigating. She walked up close and saw... blood, blood from the girl who was murdered last night. She felt her heart racing and the pupils in her eyes shrunk with fear. She needed to ask somepony.

"Um, excuse me?", she asked, poking the stallion detective's shoulder.

The detective turned to look at the filly. "Beg your pardon, little missy?", it asked.

"What happened here?", Apple Bloom asked, pointing at the blood.

"There's been a murderer on the loose and a mare was found killed this morning and we're still investigating who killed her.", the stallion detective said. 

"We're telling you that in case you didn't know.", the mare detective said. "This murderer could be very dangerous."

"Oh pony feathers.", Apple Bloom said, worried. "This day was going so well because it's almost Summer. But, I'm stunned that this happened."

"Well, you might want to keep your eye out for the murderer.", the stallion detective said. "We don't want you to end up like that mare."

Apple Bloom walked away, she decided to head home.
