The reading was quite good. Dark and True managed to modify the spell to have different voices for the different characters. (Not the lame single voice like last time :P)
Chapter was actiony enough, but still no Griffins :/

SweetStuff and ForceFeedback are cutest couple. I loved how SweetStuff literally wedged herself under ForceFeedback’s wing. (What's that? A reverse snuggle? :P)
Paint fell asleep five minutes after the reading started. (She must have had one wild night *wink*. :P) Spike put a blanket on her so she doesn't get ill, so all’s good.
I never would have guessed who Quarters is, not in a thousand years! @Quarters, no hard feelings, okay? Sorry for being a jerk to you all those years. I have no idea you could write that well! It also explains your knowledge of flight and aeronautics. Hope we get to talk more in future.
There were a lot of other little things, but nothing I noticed. And yes, the chapter was good. “Fingers crossed” for the next one :)

Yay! Just as I predicted!
The chapter is a direct continuation of last time (which ended with Bellucio and Molly finding five other chosen on an island fort, saying they had been expecting him). However, it's suddenly revealed they the new chosen don't actually now either Molly or Bellucio, but are only waiting for the last two to gather (since there “have to be seven” for the secret to be revealed). We get some foreshadowing: one of the chosen mentions he's from Rainwood, and another is wearing a shirt which says “Glassland Giants”. We see that there clearly are trust issues with Bellucio only learning that the ceremony is later that night. Also poor Molly. :( No one trusts her since she is a girl, so most stay away from her.
There are a few passive aggressive remarks, plus some exploration of the island. Then, at midnight, the ceremony takes place. Everyone gathers in the great hall (in front of a ball of floating water) and…nothing happens. There are lots of reactions, Yury (another chosen) sets out to fight Molly, but us stopped by Bellucio. And we suddenly learn that the island is a prison that no one can escape from “until they are seven”.
That was it more or less :). Really interesting, I think. I wonder if they manage to escape in this book, though somehow I doubt it. Still, great read! Thoughts? :)

Not to upset anyone, but gave you noticed that most of the characters are slowly becoming male? I know its thematic with the majority of the Chosen being (beautiful) males, we literally have just one girl in the entire chapter (and by the looks of it, will have no one else got the next two).
Not that I don't appreciate the eye candy, but come on! There's bound to be at least another female out there.

@GriffinGirfriend: Doubtful. Mast book had lots: Molly, Megan, Euryala, even Cassandra for a bit. I think this is just the “the disciples are only male” thing. Remember that Euryala was mentioned as being an exception to the rule.
I'm pretty sure things will change soon enough.

I think one of them is a servant of another god or something similar. Maybe even a corporate agent? I'm not sure how corporations and deities mix. I mean, we know the head if one if the corporations is an alternative version of Danny, and in another reality the corporations are run by Titans… this is so confusing! :(

The chapter seems quite nice. From what I could tell it's a deserted island/mansion mystery. I wouldn't be surprised if people start dying one by one (under mysterious circumstances). Didn't think that S&S would go so dark, but I like it.
Maybe it's the fever talking, but I'd like to be Molly right now: surrounded by cute boys with no competition.
Edit: Hoy you can tell you have the best friends? Simple: you make a deranged comment and they all agree with it. :P

But yeah, we’re a lot. I got 8 sisters and bros, and the foal flock is about twenty. The pony adults are about 10. If it wasn't so cool it'd totally be lame. Everyone is so *yay* careful and well behaved. I blame the story. Put a Griffin there and watch things go downhill fast :P
