Crystal Empire: Dining Room
"CADENCE BREAKFAST IS READY!" cried Shining Armor.
I opened my eyes blinking trying to focus my vision when I heard knocking on my bedroom door. "I'm awake!" I called out. I slowly get out of bed rubbing my eyes trying to see where I was going. "Ugh another day hope it's not as bad as yesterday," i grumbled. I grab my bathrobe and crown and walk into the bathroom to prepare for the day, then head down to the dining area where everypony was waiting for me. I take my seat with my cup of coffee and look up to see Twilight and Spike sitting across from me.
"Morning your highness did you sleep well?" Spike asks me. I force a smile and nod.
"Thanks for letting us stay overnight Cadence," said Twilight.
"No problem anything for my favorite pony," I reply.
Shining grabs a seat next to me with a daily news and kisses me on the cheek.
"Morning beautiful," he says.
"Morning love," I reply.
"So did you guys sleep well?" I ask Twilight and Spike.
"Oh more than well," said Twilight.
"Im glad," I say smiling.
Suddenly I hear a groan coming from Shining as he says, "Oh for the love of Celestia you've gotta be kidding me,"
"What is it?" Spike asks.
"You guys remember Freddy Fazbear's right?" Shining asks. We all nod in response.
"Apparently three restaurants and a horror attraction wasn't good enough cause now their building and amusement park for the franchise," Shining answers. We all groan and slam our faces against the table.
"Their looking for a Night Guard aren't they?" asks Twilight. Shining nods. "Forget it I've had enough of Freddy's," groans Twilight.
"Me too that place is practically old memories by now," says Shining. Armor. Surprisingly I hesitate to answer. I look at the application form and say something that even surprised myself.
"Sounds intriguing," Twilight and Shining both look at me in shock.
"Cadence don't you do it," says Shining. Surprisingly I ignore Shining and take the paper to my room. Behind me I can hear Shining slamming his hooves against the table.
"I CAN'T BELIEVE SHE'S DOING THIS!!!!!!" cries Shining.
"You better go stop her," says Spike.
I hear Shining knock on the door and exclaim, "Cadence this is a bad idea nothing good will come out of it trust me!" I open the door and walk out with the form filled out in my mouth and start down the hall. "Cadence please don't do this," Shining tells me.
I turn towards him and say, "Listen I know that place has a terrible history but that's why I have to do this,"
"Its suicide!" Shining exclaims.
"Shining please just give it a chance OK?" I plead.
Shining shakes his head in disapproval and says, "Whatever you do don't get stuffed," he then storms off in the other direction. I watch sadly as my husband stomps off then turn around and head in the other direction.
Crystal Empire: Front Gate
I turn around and look behind me hoping my husband can forgive me for my action then set off to Fazbear Headquarters.
Fazbear Headquarters
As I enter the building I look around the place and see a bunch of Freddy posters hanging on the wall. "Wow interesting building," I say to myself. I walk up to the front desk where a mare was working and ring the bell.
The mare looks over and smiles, "Oh hi there welcome to Fazbear HQ what can I do for you?"
"Um I'm applying for the Night shift at the new amusement park.
I pass her the application and says, "OK hold on a moment," She picks up the phone and sits there with the receiver to her ear. I see that the name plate on her desk reads, Choco Puff .
"Huh interesting name," I say to myself.
"The president will like to see you his office is in room R216," says Choco Puff. I thank her, grab the form and heads in the direction she tells me to go. As I walk down the hallway I realize that the rooms go in order but cuts off with room R214. Confused I pass by an office and look through the window to find a stallion with a dark blue coat like Luna's I notice that his office isn't as organized and that many boxes were stacked up against the wall.
"Must be new here," I say to myself. "I notice that a name is written on the door's glass window. Nitro Robotic Buildup. I look through the window and force a small smile and think to myself, "Heh cutie," The stallion looks up at me causing me to flinch. He then gets up, walks over to the door, and opens it.
"Um can I help you?" he asks.
"Uh yeah I'm looking for room R216 but I can't seem to find it," I tell him.
"Oh um it's behind you," he answers. I turn around and see a pair of doors with the numbers R216 written on the glass.
"Oh um thanks,"I said blushing. The stallion nods his head and closes the door to his office. I turn around and tell myself to hold confidence.
I knock on the door and a voice answers, "Come in,"
Fazbear Headquarters: President's Office
When entering I notice the office was filled with plaques, posters, and other random objects.
"Welcome please take a seat," replies a voice. I grab myself a chair and sit myself in front of the president's desk. "I heard you came to apply for the job?" he asks. I nod and passes him my application. He takes the form and reads through it. Meanwhile I'm looking around the office in curiosity. "Hmm very interesting," says the president.
"Well?" I ask.
"Miss Mi Amore Cadenza is it?" he asks.
"Yes but my friends just calls me Cadence," I reply.
"Ah yes the princess of love I've heard a lot about you," he says. "My name is Mechanical Gears president of Fazbear entertainment," says the president.
"It's a pleasure to meet you," I say.
"Same here miss Cadenza," he replies.
"So do I get the job?" I ask.
"Well I would hire you but you don't seem to have any experience with this kind of thing do you?" Mech asks. I nod in response. "Well normally I would only hire ponies with experience but nopony seems to want the job except you so...."
I jumped up in excitement and asks, "Do I get the job?"
"Yes of course although I'm worried that for somepony like you who doesn't have any experience to do a good enough job at this," said Mech.
"I'll do my best I promise," I pleaded.
"Well then," said Mech. I saw him open a drawer and pull out a plastic bag and a hat and badge. He hands me the clothing and says, "That's your uniform you'll need to wear that while on shift,"
"Oh my Celestia thank you," I say
"Yeah of course you'll start tonight from midnight to six AM for eight nights," said Mech.
"Got it," I said.
"Well then see you tonight be ready for it," said Mech. I thank him and leave his office. Excited I head back to get ready for my first night on the job.
