It was a new day, the sun is shining and the sky is blue, well that's what Fluttershy is accustomed to see but this time not. It was raining hard, the streets were underwater with small ponds of water everywhere. The sky was gray and sad looking, filled with clouds.
" Here ya'll go Fluttershy, a raincoat for you to wear. " Apple Jack Said giving the raincoat to Fluttershy to put on.
" Thanks you Apple Jack, i'm gone need one if i'm going outside, it's raining pretty hard. Don't you think ? " Fluttershy Said walking outside the house.
" It's normale here in Rain Dukedom, you get just to it. " Apple blood Said putting her raincoat on.
" Wherever you come from, it never rains, right. " Said apple Jack wondering how that works. When they walked outside going to the town square, while talking about the rain and sun.
" Well, yes it never rains were i came from, but that's only because we, The royal family can use our voice to summon the sun and everything the represents it. " Fluttershy said too the two sisters that looked confused.
" What do you mean with controlling the sun? No pony can do that only alicorns can do that, i think ? " Apple Jack said only getting more confused about the subject at hoof.
" Well, originally, yes. Only alicorn could rise and lower the sun and moon, but since i am the daughter of queen Celestia who rises the sun, i can also summon the sun, but not rise or lower it." said Fluttershy explaining how the royal family can use magic without using a horn but with there voice.
" But what do you mean with "everything that represents it ?" Says Apple bloom looking confused at Fluttershy, wanting to know what it means.
" It means that everything that has a connection with the sun, i can also control, like fire or the sun light itself and even the wind if i wanted to" Fluttershy said telling them about the power she had.
" But wait, wind doesn't have connections with the sun, do they ? " Apple boom said listening to Fluttershy's story, while talking they were at the town square and sat down under the tree to get shelter from the rain.
" It is connected to the sun because it's in the sky, i know it doesn't make sense, right? " Fluttershy said remembering that she was also confused when her mother told her that and laughed at it, remembering that Apple bloom made the same face as she deed back then.
" Hay, Fluttershy ! Do you know how to get to the capital from here ? " Apple Jack said changing the subject.
" I was thinking to that a wagon or something because flying there would be to far. " Fluttershy said not knowing so sure how to get too the capital.
" Well flying to the capital is out of the question. You should be able to take a caravan to the capital, we just have to find one that is going their. " Apple jack said thinking about everything for Fluttershy to get to the capital.
" That's great ! Were do we find one ? " Fluttershy said getting happy about the plan not knowing they wore being watched in the shadows.
Fluttershy, Apple jack and a Apple bloom wore asking around if a caravan was available to take Fluttershy to the capital, but no one had luck finding one.
" It seen that some are going to an other destination or can't go today " says Apple bloom at Apple jack who was just done talking to a stallion shaking his head.
" Same here, looks like there just too busy to take Fluttershy to the capital. " Apple jack said walking away from the stallion and too Apple bloom.
" Looks like Fluttershy doesn't have better luck then us, sis. " Apple bloom said looking in the direction were Fluttershy was talking too a old stallion who shook his head in disappointment.
" I have no luck finding an caravan. " Fluttershy said flying towards Apple Jack and Apple bloom landing in front of them.
" I will ask Big Mac to take you there Fluttershy, since nopony can take you there but my brother. " Apple jack said walking back to the house direction.
" No ! I can't let you do that. You've already done so much for me, i just keep looking. " Fluttershy said not wanting to trouble the Apple family more then she already did.
" Don't worry sugar cube. Were happy to help and we don't mind at all. " Apple jack said looking behind her at Apple bloom.
" Apple bloom. Why don't y'all go wait for me here, alright ? " apple jack said turning her back to them and walked home to get Big Mac.
In the corner of the street the two mysterious colt's trying to following Apple jack to her house.
" Are you sure this is a good idea ? " Snails said following Snips behind him trying not to attract any attention to them.
" Are you still on that?, we will get a big money reward if we take her out. " Snails said looking very close at there target, as she went left at a corner from the bakery. Following her to the next corner of the shop they see that she was buying bread.
" But this is ponynapping, you sure that we can handle this ? " Snails said getting just more nervous about the idea.
" I wish that we could a normal job that was a little more low-profile. " Snails said thinking about it.
" This is our chance to level up as villains. " Snips said grinning at the idea of becoming a villain.
" But I'm happy with the way things are ! " Snails said complaining about the plan. But Snips was not listening to his partner, he looked as Apple jack turned in a alley next to the bakery.
" Let's go, now's our chance. " Snips said following the mare in the alley with Snails behind him. Apple jack was almost home She looked in front of seeing her house almost before she heard a strange noice coming from behind her. She tried to look behind her but was knocked unconscious before she could do something.
Fluttershy who was waiting with Apple bloom got a sudden feeling that something was wrong she looked around but she saw only pony's in the rain walking through each other, she then felt the wind against her fur being pushed back, then she know what was happening, she looked at Apple bloom and said " we need to go home there's something wrong there but i don't know for sure " looking at Apple bloom with a worried look on her face, not making it any better for Apple bloom.
" What's going on ? Fluttershy ? " Apple bloom said following Fluttershy on the way home.
" All i know is that something is wrong. I can't really explain it but all i know is we got to hurry ! " Fluttershy said running in the rain with Apple bloom close behind her. When they finally arrived home almost breaking the door op, Fluttershy looked around to finding Big mac in the kitchen, she ran to him still looking around.
" Big mac ! Has Apple jack return home yet ? " Fluttershy said getting worried about her friend.
" Nope ! " Big mac said not knowing sure what's going on. All he know was that his little sister and there friend broke the door and were worried for some reason. Fluttershy looked at him in disbelieve.
" Apple jack should be home by know unless. " Fluttershy thought, she went outside in the rain and closed her eyes feeling the wind around her, moving the wind with her voice that was only a whisper, she concentrated to find Apple jack with the wind of this land. " i can use it, the air of this land, maybe we can get along after all, help me find my friend. "
Snips and snails were running though the streets with a huge bag on there backs. They wore laughing for there plan worked wonderful, in the bag was apple jack struggling to get free, she was tied up and muzzled to prevent her from screaming.
" Hurry, Hurry up Snails, let's get this done quick and let's get something good to eat ! " Snips said running out of breath from caring the big bag on there backs and in the rain. Apple jack was struggling pretty much tying to get free but it didn't work.
" Hey, Snips. " Snails said a little worried by the pony in the bag.
" What is it ? I don't got time to talk right now. " Snails said lifting the bag higher with his magic to run faster.
" You're sure this is the mare ? Right? " Snails said looking worried at Snails not knowing for sure that it is the right pony.
" Why do you ask ? " Snips said turning his head to look at Snails.
" There's something about the smell, i guess ? She was a bit more quite, wasn't she ? " Snails said as Apple jack struggled again with all her might. Snips now looked worried as well for what Snails said was true, this mare has been struggling for a while and made quit the noise while being tied up. Snips ran around the next corner stopping in a alley, there wore crates on the ground next to the walls getting wet from the rain. They placed the big bag on the floor in-between the two crates. Snips opens the bag reveling the pony in side, looking closely at the pony Snips saw that it wasn't the yellow pegasus they wore suppose to take.
" She's not even a pegasus ! " Snips said getting frustrated by the situation at hoove.
" I know it ! " Snails said being happy he was right about the pony in the bag.
" Don't say " i know it " say this stuff sooner. " Snips said getting angry at Snails.
" Sorry i just thought it was my imagination, the colors of her mane and coat were different too. " Snails said leaning against the wall across from the wall where Apple jack was sitting against to prevent getting wet from the rain.
" We don't have a choice, let's try again. " Snips said looking at Apple jack.
" What do we do with her ? kill her ? " Snails said looking angry at Apple jack trying to look intimidating.
" You jumped a few levels there, but that's not a bad idea. She knows what we look like so we can't let her go. " Snips said looking evil at Apple jack who was getting scared by the two colt's for what they might do to her.
" Sorry, lady but we got you and there's no one that can heard you so give it up. " Snails said getting closer and closer to Apple jack who was struggling with al her might and trying to scream for help. It only made them laugh at her coming closer to her when a strong wind blow in there faces along with rain drops who fell from the sky.
" What's going on ? " Snips said looking where that strong wind came from. He saw at the opening of the alley a yellow pegasus standing there in the rain, it was Fluttershy trying to save her friend.
" If you put one scratch on Apple jack, you'll pay for it ! " Fluttershy said being angry at the two colt's who was planning to hurt her friend. She never felt so angry in her life for what they wore trying to do too her friend. Snips and Snails was taking back by the angry face she was showing them.
" Hey ! it's her! " Snails said pointing at Fluttershy with his hoove.
" Lucky us. " Snips said walking to Fluttershy levitating a knife that he got from his pocket and pointed it at Fluttershy.
" This is great, if you come along quietly, we'll go easy on you " Snips said with a low voice trying to sound cool and dangerous.
" Snips. your so cool ! " Snails said looking at Snips admiring hi partner. But fluttershy didn't looked scared at all she just stands there and whispered something so low that Snips and Snails it didn't hear, when she stopped whispering the knife was cut in the middle of the blade and broke down to pieces, leaving the two colt's shocked at what they just saw. Snips was not letting this happen for he jumped towards Fluttershy trying to knock her down. When Fluttershy saw this and opened her wings for there was a powerful wind going towards the two colt's blowing them away out of the alley. Apple jack saw everything what just happened and couldn't believe it. She looked at Fluttershy who was smiling kindly at her like nothing happened.
It was almost evening. The day was almost at an end. Fluttershy stood in front of the Apple family's door outside with her saddle bag on her back. The two colt's gave her saddle bag back at least what was over from it. Meany stuff of her was sold away but Fluttershy didn't care about it, it was just stuff she could always buy new ones.
" You're heading out now ? " Apple bloom said looking sad at Fluttershy, not wanting her to go.
" I got my saddle bag back. I'd better get moving before it's to dark. " Fluttershy said looking at the sky raining down at her.
" Good luck and thank you again for saving me. " Apple jack said bowing her head as a sign of thank you too Fluttershy.
" After you become a princess, will you stay away forever ? " Apple bloom said with a sad tone in her voice almost crying for losing her friend.
" You really think i'm that cold ? " Said Fluttershy bowing down at Apple bloom facing her. Apple bloom shook her head answering Fluttershy's question.
" I'll stay in your room next time i'm here. I want to hear your story's when i come back. " Fluttershy said smiling at Apple bloom when a voice called at Fluttershy.
" Mis ! We're about to head out ! " Snips said tied up in front of a caravan to pull it with Snails.
" It's getting dark ! " Snails said next to Snips tied up in front of the caravan. After that blast of a wind, they we're kind enough to take her to the capital.
" Are you sure you can trust them ? " Apple jack said looking suspicious at the two colt's in front of the caravan.
" Don't you think they'll take you somewhere shady ? " Apple bloom said knowing what happened to her sister from Fluttershy after she came home with Apple jack.
" Yeapuh ! " Big mac said not trusting them for what they did to his sister.
" I think they learned their lesson. They gave me my stuff back and giving me a ride to the capital. " Fluttershy said knowing if they tried anything to her they will have to learn the hard way. Fluttershy took a piece of white fabric from her saddle bag and showed it to the siblings.
" I meant to present this to the king on my arrival, but i wanted to thank you. " Fluttershy said holding the white fabric in her hoove.
" Wow ! you're really spoiling us here at the end. My sisters did this out of kindness, so.... " Said Big mac looking at the fabric not even knowing what to do with it until he was interrupted by Fluttershy.
" I know. That's why i want t repay you with kindness, too " Fluttershy said using her magic to lift the white fabric in too the sky and moving the rainclouds away from the sun who was about to set and stopping the rain at the same time. Letting the sunlight on the white fabric who was flying higher into the sky until it was cut in to million pieces, turning them in to little snowflakes falling from the sky.
" They're like, dancing flower pedals. " said Apple jack looking at the amazing show Fluttershy put up for them.
" Yeah ! " Big mac said looking speechless from the scene he just saw. Fluttershy looked at the smiling faces around her knowing they won't forget what just happened here in a long time.
At the harbor of town Lepion a big ship was stopping at the dock of the harbor. The sounds of cracking of the ship, the sea waves going wild and the rain that won't stop. Sailor pony's working hard to welcome the big ship, pulling on ropes and binding them tight on the dock.
" Withdraw, throw one more. " one of the sailor pony's said binding to rope to the dock. In the ships captains room the two mysterious stallions were discussing matters at hooves. The low voiced stallion looked out the window his back to the door when it opens.
" It's just as you thought, general, we were unable to rendezvous with the other ships. " the low voiced partner said walking in the room where a desk in the middle of the room was standing with papers on it. On the walls of the room were painting hanging and some shells holding books.
" We'll have many other chances, many indeed. " the General said with his back to his partner looking outside. The raindrops clatters on the window as the wind blow them away.
several hours later.
The capital city : Ginitari was in sight. It's beautiful the big strong walls around the capital keeping the citizens save. In the middle of the capital there was a big castle standing on a hill. The house were surrounding the castle from every direction, big or small is was lively in the capital. Gray clouds of rain was everywhere in the capital, but a strange pink colored cloud was above the castle of the capital raining on the castle roofs what looked like chocolate milk. In front of the castle gates there were royal pegasus guards guarding the big gates to the castle with big spears as weapons. The two royals guards looked at the raining horizon seeing a Pegasus with a hood on flying to them. The guard crossed there spears to stop the flying pegasus coming towards them.
" Halt ! state your title, name, and reason for entering the castle ! " The guard said with a tone voice looking suspicious at the Pegasus with the hood over the head not seeing the face of the pegasus.
" My name is Fluttershy, the sun-summoning princess, i've come here to marry your king. " Fluttershy said taking of her hood revealing her face in the rain, smiling at the two guard.
The two guards informed the advisor Fancy pants that a pegasus mare who claimed to be princess Fluttershy of sunlight kingdom was picked up by the guards. Fancy pants took matters in his own hooves and was commanding the guards to show him the pegasus mare, taking her stuff with him.
" Welcome, fourth sovereign daughter of the Sunlight kingdom, princess Fluttershy. " Fancy pants said levitating her saddle bag with his magic.
" If you had just shown this to us from the beginning, you could have avoided a brawl with the guards. " Fancy pants said to Fluttershy who was sitting on the floor and looking filthy from the brawl with the guards. there was dirt on her coat and her mane was a mess, knowing rarity would freak out at the sight but she wasn't her Fluttershy thought.
Fancy pants levitated a letter out her saddle bag showing it to her while saying it.
" I'm so sorry, i forgot that i had it with me, i was just nervous and all but that was noway to treat me like a suspicious pony out of nowhere, any pony would get angry over that even me. " Fluttershy said trying to defend herself like Rainbow dash teached her.
" No, they would not. " Fancy pants said with a straight face.
" Oh then i'm very sorry for what i did. " Fluttershy said apologizing for her rudeness torts the guards and to the adviser for a big mouth while hiding her face in her mane.
" Take lady Fluttershy to the audience chamber. " Fancy pants said to the guards standing behind Fluttershy.
" Yes, sir ! " the guards said taking Fluttershy to the audience chamber.
In the audience chamber a big room that was looking gloomy because of the gray sky from outside that you could see from the big windows, the king was sitting on his throne al dressed up a big crown on his head with a red cape around him with a middle sized staff in his claw." finally my bride is here, i can't wait anymore. I need to see her. ", the king thought grinning at the door as it opens. Fluttershy walked in the audience chamber keeping her head down as she walked in the room. The king was disappointed that she didn't showed her face at him, " she's probably already frightened at me for all the things she heard around the kingdom. " the king thought at himself looking sad for a moment but soon recoverd from it looking angry and annoying at the pegasus mare. Fluttershy bowed down for the king before her.
" Raise your head, princess Fluttershy. " Fancy pants said who was standing next the king on his throne. Fluttershy did what she was told and looked at the king. He was a creature of pure chaos he had a deer antler and goat horn growing atop the gray head of a pony sitting on a long giraffe-like neck, a goat beard growing below his sharp looking fangs. His green dragon leg, goat leg, red snake tail and brown furred body made Fluttershy shrink in size before the king.
" I expect you had a nice journey coming here to my kingdom, my name is king Discord also known as the lord of chaos and your future husband. " Discord said grinning at the sight of seeing the little pegasus shrinking herself into a little ball.
