//------------------------------// // Finding a fighter (Spitfire) // Story: I don't think "Crazy" suits her like you believe... // by MyNameIsKassie //------------------------------// Spitfire got up later than usual today, probably due to going to bed late. She yawned and climbed out of her bed before checking the clock. "8:00, could be better." She said sleepily. "Guess I should get ready, though." She headed towards her bathroom to get her mane fixed up enough so that it looked decent, and to brush her teeth. The yellow pegasus was just about to have a quick shower when she heard a knock on her door. "Who would come to my house this early?" She muttered. "I'm coming!" She called out as she left her bathroom. "Yes?" The mare asked, opening her front door. There was a pale redish brown stallion with a red mane and tail; with about four different shades, blue eyes, a grey hoodie and he carried a sword with him. "Uh,... Hi...." He said, blushing a bit. "Hey. I don't think I know you, what brings you to my place?" Spitfire asked curiously. "I uh... I've just... I heard a lot about you and the amazing things you can do, I guess I just got a bit curious so I came by... I hope I didn't interrupt anything, miss..." He said nervously, rubbing the back of his head. "Nah, you weren't interrupting anything. Even if you were, it's cool. I don't mind too much." She said. "Okay, that's good. I was really worried about whether or not I did." He sighed in relief. "You can come in if you want." The mare offered, pointing to her couch not too far behind her. "Oh no, I shouldn't, really. I don't wanna make you uncomfortable or anything..." He said, slightly disappointed with it. "Nah, it's fine. I'm not the kind of pony who gets uncomfortable too often. Don't worry about it." She assured him. "Are you sure ma'am? I don't wanna just barge into your house when we barely know each other." He blushed again. "Oh just shut up and get in here." She giggled, grabbing his hoof and dragging him inside. "Oh hell..." He laughed at how cheerful this mare was. Eventually she let him down on the couch, while she wasn't because she was going to grab stuff. "You will stay in this seat until I get back, okay?" She ordered. "Yes ma'am." He responded, chuckling quietly. "Good. I'm just gonna grab something. I'll be back soon." She said slyly, caressing his chin with her tail as she left. "Ohh jeez... Here we go..." He whispered. He sat there for at least a minute blushing madly before the pegasus came back with a few drinks. "O-oh, I really shouldn't, ma'am. Thanks for the offer, though." The nervous stallion stuttered, trying his best to avoid eye contact. "Hell to that. Go ahead, this isn't strong enough to get a pony drunk. Promise." She responded, putting the drinks down on the table next to them. "Are you sure? I really don't wanna be doing anything I'll regret to someone I barely know." He said while trying to believe her. "Chill, it's just one glass. One glass of beer wouldn't get you drunk. I know that for a fact." The yellow mare assured him. "If you're sure then I'll take it, but I'm just worried about getting drunk and fucking a mare I don't even know well..." He sighed. "Listen, I promise you won't get drunk. Okay?" She said, taking a small sip of her glass and sitting down beside him. "Okay..." He responded, almost reluctantly picking up his glass. "Do you normally drink?" Spitfire asked him. "I do it quite a bit, but not to the point of me getting flat out drunk." He said. "Do you do it a lot?" "Yeah, 50% of the time I get drunk, and the other 50% I stay sober." She said. "Well, at least you balance it out..." He chuckled a little. "By the way, what's your name, anyways?" She asked suddenly. "Ishiro Musaka. I'm sorry, probably should've told you before I came in." The stallion said nervously. "It's okay, really. And I like your name." She told him. "Thanks, and before you ask, I'm not actually fully Japanese, my mom was and my dad wasn't. So that's where my name comes from." He said, laughing quietly. "Do a lot of ponies think you're fully Japanese?" She asked. He nodded. "Makes sense. I have another friend who's Japanese, her name is Kasuna." The mare said. "Yep, definitely Japanese." He said, taking another sip from his drink. There was a pause for ten minutes before the stallion took a deep breath. "Uh... Spitfire?" He started. "Yeah?" She questioned, taking another drink. "I... Uh... I..." He gulped nervously, "I... I think I... Uh... Love you..." He stuttered, looking away from the pegasus beside him. "Oh..." She responded, blushing. "No,... I'm sorry... I shouldn't have said that... I'll leave if you want..." Ishiro said, sounding depressed. He was about to get up when he felt Spitfire grab him by the shoulders. "No. You don't need to. Honestly, I think you're the only one who would love me for who I am, not the things I do." She told him. "So... You don't mind that I love you..?" He questioned. "You wanna see my answer?" She asked slyly. He nodded. She leaned forward and kissed him on the lips, and it startled him at first. Eventually he gave in and kissed her back. The mare wrapped her arms around his neck and relaxed her body a bit, laying down on his stomach as he laid on the couch. Ishiro let himself go as soon as he felt her relax, and he moved his hooves to rest on her lower back, directly under the base of her wings. After a minute, Spitfire broke the kiss. She was about to move off of him when he grabbed her. "No, stay here." He begged. "Alright, whatever." She giggled. "So you really love me?" He questioned again. "Yep, more than anything." She said, lightly caressing his cheek with her hoof. "Lay down." He told her. "Okay." She laid down so her head was under his chin and nuzzled his neck softly. He was stroking her mane and holding her hoof tightly. The mare decided she was tired from the drinks, and drifted off to sleep in half an hour, still in the arms of the stronger stallion she loved.
