Omg! The last chapter of Space Molly!! Molly, why?!? I have no words to describe it! I mean... planetary rings are frozen god tears? The way you have added depth to your story with a single chapter is fascinating! Actually everything you've added so far is fascinating.

First the whole idea of the ship, then the star pony, then the star couple they help get together (and have foals as they go into a supernova), and now this? :))) Please, @Quarters, let's meet!

Fangirling aside, have you all read the chapter? I admit I have added a small script to the code to ping me when something I'm interested in updates (must to Bob's annoyance). The whole notion that once the gods inhabited the skies before the wars (that made some cry rings around the planets, while others chose to retire). I'm still uncertain whether star ponies are gods as well, or are they something completely different. Starspark doesn't seem to know (thus all the vagueness in his responses). I'm also glad at the way that Loki caught up to the series.

In very Everwhere fashion, he revealed that he's part of a god that he doesn't wish to be and would rather travel the start with Molly. Hmm, maybe this is a start of a shipping? She still has a serious crush on him, but that's about it. Also, I'm not sure if Starspark doesn't also have some feelings. Might be just me, but I do find him overly cute and innocent. Such a shame he isn't a human... or maybe he'll become? :))

Let me know, Celestia damnit! :P

Far out, mare. Like, that story is on a whole different level, like, of consciousness. It totally tastes purple with a bit of orange. Radical.

And Loki is almost like someone I know, like, cool and loose.

Tree

@Tree: Of course it would take you this story to join :P

LyraHands

Thank you. I like writing, things always seem brighter that way. I'm not sure my mother will approve meeting any Nightlings, not out of school, though.

Quarters

Oh, come on! Everyone is really nice and understanding, and they love your stories! :)

Twist

@Twist, @Quarters: Wait, you two know each other?

RRBB

@RRBB: Yes, we're in the same class! :) I know Quarters doesn't want me to say anything about them, but I think talking more often will help them break out of their shell. And I'm sure your mother will approve of that.

Also, it's not everyday you can get this much attention. If Lyra likes your stories they must be good :D

Twist

@Twist: I'll get to the bottom of this.

On another note, I left Pixel at the vet's. Brush insists everything is fine with him (and he was eating) but this is the second time he's acted strange in the last three days, so better safe than sorry. None of you have been feeding anything weird, right? :/

RRBB

Much wow!

Molly: u can transform into human?

Starspark: no.

Molly: *yay*!

Starspark: oh, wait! Yes, I can!

Loki: Molly, I think u cute.

Molly, Starspark: *yay*!

Joking aside, I'm glad that Pixel is better. Pets are a total heartache. They are annoying, pester you all the time, cost huge amounts of bits, yet if something happens to them, you go "nooooo!"

@RRBB: If you need any help, let me know, okay?

Feather

Hmm. With Pixel being in good hooves, I'll focus on the chapter.

Not bad, but I think it's going a bit fast. At first we have a journey in space. So far so good, then we have star ponies. (Better.) And now we suddenly hear of an old war that's conveniently been skipped? I get the plot device jojo, but it's a bit beneath the story to go so cheap, don't you think?

Originally, this started as a sweet slightly romantic story of journeying through the the stars. There's no need to add war and forgotten mysteries to it. Just keep your narrative as before and you'll be fine.

MixaMax

@MixaMax: I'm curious to see what Jade and Light thing about this, because I don't agree. Yes, a journey through the stars is sweet, but that's not coltfiction, and to be honest it isn't MC either. Now, you can argue that the site is a place where any story inspired by an aspect of MC has a right to exist, but I think having Space Molly get closer to the original feeling is a good thing.

I'm not talking about an all out battle all of a sudden, but at least some connection to the original source. Outstanding literary qualities aside, just how much in common does it have to Midnight Castle? We have Molly, Loki, and some human tech. That's it pretty much. Might as well be two random humans. For that matter might be two random ponies and to wouldn't make any difference.

I'm not dissing the story, just trying to be logical about it. It's beautiful and here to stay, but can you honestly call it a MC story at this point?

RRBB

I think it is. Maybe not entirely coltfiction oriented. There aren't enough battles, but if there were a fillified MC I'd say this is it. Don't forget that a number of popular stories have a romantic element (School Days, My Human and I, even Danny Saga).

LyraHands

The tears of the gods are necessary for something that will happen in a few chapters, and I can promise you'll see the link to MC by the end.

Quarters

@PaintDrop: wake up and tell me your thoughts! Sheesh! YouKnowWho is supposed to be the one sleeping in class. :P

RRBB

@RRBB: She's just tired because of the scare with Pixel. I wasn't able to sleep either. And Space Molly is good. I wish I could think of something like that... @Quarters, whoever you are, I hope we're friends in real life because your writing is great. :)

Short&Hoofy

I agree. I find the story both touching and Nightlingy. My only fear is that it won't be too long. I might be mistaken, but I think it'll last for 4 more chapters before the end.

Jade

@Jade: you are right. 5 chapters until the end. The story is already written and sent to my editor. I can only hope you enjoy it to the end.

Thank you. It means a lot coming from you.

@Short&Hoofy: we are friends,

Goodnight, everypony.
