The Blood Moon Regime

A duplicate of...me?

“It was an interesting class. I really enjoyed it, Sunset. Time to investigate more about that topic,”

“I’m glad about that,” she giggled. “Maybe you can share it with me tomorrow at lunch time. I will be always happy to hear everything you learn”

“Thank you, best friend,” my lips smiled. Sunset Shimmer and I were about to leave to our respective homes, when we noticed a mysterious person standing in front of the notice board downstairs. “Sunset. Look,” I whispered to avoid to attract her attention.

“Who is that?”

“I don’t know. Let’s ask her,”

With silent steps, we approached to the mysterious girl and stopped at a safe distance.

“Good evening. Welcome to Canterlot High School. How can we help you?” Sunset Shimmer gently asked.

Is it my imagination or someone with a strikingly similar voice to mine spoke at me? I refused to turn around despite the question she asked.

“Are you ok, girl?”, her friend asked me now. I slowly walked towards the exit of the school but both girls began to follow me. It’s time to make a run for it.

“Hey! Stop!”, my evil clone shouted as I left through the main doors, then ran towards the stone block to finally make a turn to the right.

“We’re just here to help!” her friend shouted.

My legs run faster than theirs. Another big building made its appearance midway. Though, this one has a metal fence. To lose them, I jumped over it. But something bad just happened. My cape got stuck by the fences’ wires. The girls were dangerously closing in.

Without thinking too much, I removed my cape and hood. My beautiful hair and face, plus all my rouge garments were discovered.

“What the hell!?” My clone was extremely surprised to see my true identity.

“Indeed. I am in an alternate dimension, evil twin. Buh bye!”

“I used to be evil but I am a good person now!”, the chase resumed through the gardens outside the big building.

“She is right! And I had the same experience! Please! We just want to talk!” her friend explained.

“Not a chance! You want to hurt me! I don’t belong here, you know!”

“So!? We just want to know why are you here!”

The chase came to an end when small rock protruding from the grass blocked my right foot and made me fall, landing on my chest.

“Ouch! That hurt… Stupid rock,”

The clone’s friend approached and offered me her hand.

“That’s enough, girl. We are not your enemies,” she said. Sighing, I took her hand and lifted me up.

“Fine. I’ll trust you… for now,”

“We mean no harm, twin. Let’s go to my house and we can talk,”

“Ok. Lead the way,”
