@All: It's the moment you have all been waiting for! In two months we'll be having our very first Midnight Castle Convention (which will take place in the beautiful capital of the Crystal Empire!)
This is a huge thing since it will be supported by both Canterlot Palace (special thanks to @Luna and @number1) and the Crystal Royal family! (Yay, Cadence!) I don't want to raise any expectations, but this looks like it will be enormous! :)
One thing, though. Since this will be (far more) official, everypony will have to register to attend. Not to worry, though, for thanks to generous sponsorships entry tickets will be free. Accommodations, sadly, will have to be paid. Fortunately, during your registration you can freely book a room at the selected hotels and will get a (substantial?) discount :)
On a personal note, who of you think will make it?

@all: don't worry about food! @Luna and myself gave sorted out. Just a personal request, please don't bring any homemade food in the convention halls (@PPI). Eating it outside perfectly fine :) Also, indicate on your registration if you have any special dietary needs (or allergies).

@Luna, @LyraHands: out of curiosity, how many participants are expected? If it's going to be official with sponsors and PR and everything, I'd expect there would be a significant crowd. How much are we talking? Hundreds?

@PaintDrop: Considering that Everhere is incredibly popular in the Empire (more than Daring Do) I'd say it's possible to reach the lower thousands. ;) Keep in mind that the capital is a huge city and for most it's less than half an hour trot to get to the palace (a.k.a. convention hall).
Realistically, I'd say around 2-3 thousand.
@all: We're also thinking of a merchant section, but for now that's on hold. The issue is mostly that the event is aimed to be family friendly, and as we all known large amounts of art and commissions are a bit suggestive. Still, we'll figure something out with @Luna :).
