As rock n' roll plays on the radio, the streets of Ponyville where streaming with cars just cruisin' down the roads. The streetlights glissined in the night as the windowfronts and neon signs iluminated the parade of cars.
"Woowee," Applejack exclamed, "Ponyville is mighty crowded tonight."
"Yeah," agreed Rarity, "look at all of them."
"Well it is the begining of summer," explained Twilight.
"So what do you girls want to do first," Rainbow Dash asked while consentrating on the road.
"Oh. Oh. I know. I know," Pinkie Pie squealed excitedly, "why don't we go to The Hay Burger?"
"Okay Hay Burgers it is," Rainbow anounced and just then a cherry red 58' Corvette drove on past them. Dash didn't get a good look at the driver but she swore that he looked like her.
Button Mash was with Sweetie Belle and his brother Gibson who was driving them to Sugar Cube Corner in his 58' Chevy Impala. They were looking out the window watching all the cars until Button spotted Big Mac, and two fillies next to him.
"Hey Sweetie belle, is that Applebloom?" Button asked. Sweetie Belle took a closer look at the car beside them.
"Hey that is Applebloom, and Scootaloo too," Sweetie Belle pointed out as she climbed over Button Mash and rolled down the window. "Hey Applebloom, Scootaloo!" She called, "is that you in there?" The two fillies looked over and was shocked who they saw.
"Sweetie Belle?" Applebloom responded, "What are doin' in there?"
"I'm going to Sugar Cube Corner with Button Mash," Sweetie Belle answered, "what about you?" Just before Applebloom clould respond, Scootaloo answered first.
"We're cruising around town with Big Macintosh," Scootaloo broke in.
"Cool," Button Mash commented. The light at the intersection turned red and the two cars stopped.
"Are you two goin' on a date?" Applebloom asked
"Yeah," Sweetie Belle answered.
"Well see yah' later Sweetie Belle. See yah' Button Mash," Applebloom called.
"Bye Applebloom," Sweetie Belle called back as Applebloom and Scootaloo rounded the corner. Gibson finaly pulled up to Sugar Cube Corner and dropped the two off.
"Thanks Gibson," Button experssed.
"Button, are you forgetting something?" Gibson reminded. Button just sighed, pulled out three bits from his pocket and gave it his brother. "Thank you," he taunted.
As music played on the speakers at Hay Burgers, the girls were waiting in the car for the waitress to bring their order. Rainbow dash was explaining what she saw in the car earlier.
"I swear girls, that stalion looked just like me," she told them, "he had the mane and everthing!"
"Are you sure you know what you saw dear?" Rarity asked softly.
"To be honest, I don't know exactly what I saw." Just then the waitress came up with their order.
"Excuse me, here is your order," the waitress stated.
"Thank you," Rainbow Dash replied and started passing them out the orders. "Okay one cherry cola hay burger Jr with fries for Twilight..." Twilight grabbed her oder from Rainbow Dash with a purple glow from her horn. "One Sparke–cola and regular hay burger for—" Rainbow Dash was cut off to find Pinkie to already have the meal in hoof. "One cream soda, one root beer, and one lemonade." Rainbow Dash just sat there and sipped her root beer.
"It's just," Rainbow Dash continued, "I feel like I'm going crazy or maby... I don't know."
"Are you sure that's what you saw?" Twilight questioned but Rainbow Dash there silent.
"Let's take this to go," She finaly spoke. Turing on the ignition Rainbow Dash pulled out and drove off.
The mystrious stalion drove down the street. He soon noticing Big Macintosh just ahead and pulled up next him. Big Mac alooked to the side and reconized the rainbow mane stalion.
"Hey you look fimilar," Big Mac called out, "do ah' knowyou from some where?"
The the stalion anwsered back. "Yeah you do, I'm a freind of your cuosin that is 20 times removed."
"You mean Applefritter. Now ah remember, you're... uh... Rainbow Blitz right?"
"That's right? Hey Big Mac, are you the one with the fastest car in Ponyville?"
"Ah wish but that would be Rainbow Dash, that and the fastest flier."
"Well can you tell her I am looking for her?"
"Yeah sure what ever you need."
"Thank you Big Mac," and with that Rainbow Blitz sped off into the to find Rainbow Dash. Only to leave scootaloo confused.
"You guys have a cousin named Applefritter?"
Button Mash and Sweetie belle where having milkshakes at Sugar Cube Corner, as usual. The song playing on the speakers reminded Sweetie Belle the time she and the other crusaders gave Big Mac and Cheerily that love potion. They where kinda quite for most of the time until Sweetie Belle broke the silence.
"So what are we going to do now?" She spoke.
"What do you mean Sweetie Belle?" Button asked.
"Well, usually on our dates we go here. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy doing this it just so..."
"Predicable?"
"Yeah."
"Well I guess we could do something different."
"Really? Oh thank you Button Mash! But first let's finish our milkshakes first." Button could help but chuckle to him self and smiled.
Fluttershy was taking a small drive around town to clear her head, Spike wanted to come along to keep her company. So here they are driving around in her 50' Mercury Coupe Spike looking out the window. Pulling up to a red light, a red 54' Buick pulled up next to them inside the back seat was a beautiful cherry red little dragon with a pink belly. She smiled and waved at Spike which who waved back at her.
‘I love you,’ she spoke inaudibly through the window and Spike rolled down the window. "What did you say?" Spike Called out to her, but the car drove off and disappeared around the corner before she could answer.
"Fluttershy turn the corner!" He demanded.
"What why?" Fluttershy asked all confused.
"I just saw vision. A goddess. You got catch up to her.
"Oh come on Spike I just can't spend the night chasing a girl for you."
"Oh come on Fluttershy—"
"Spike I said no. Don't make me use the stare." Spike, like everypony except Discord, was afraid of the stare and didn't want to intimidate her. So he just gave up on the idea that somepony wants him. Instead Spike looked out of the window wondering what she was doing now and if he'll ever see her again.
Fluttershy dropped off Spike on the front steps of the castle and in time too as Rarity dropped off Twilight who looked a little tired from the night out.
"Hey Twilight," Spike greeted.
"Hey Spike," She yawned, "how was your night Spike?"
"It was great. I met a girl."
"That's great Spike, my little dragon is growing up. So can I meet her?" That's when he started to get nervous, how can he introduce someone with out even knowing who she is.
"Yeah sure Twilight," Spike answered, "I'll introduce you to her at the dance."
"That's great Spike," Twilight agreed, "Well I better get to bed. Goodnight Spike."
"Goodnight Twilight," Spike replied. Now at least he had enough time to find this mystery girl before the dance. But for now he should get to bed. He had a long day ahead of him tomorrow.
Button Mash and Sweetie Belle was out side the Carousel Boutique. The interior was dark and Rarity's T-bird was not out front meaning she was still out on her girl's night out. The street lamps gave a warm glow on the two standing on the side walk.
"I had a nice time Button," Sweetie Belle said softly.
"Me too," Button added, "see you Later alligator."
"After while crocodile," Sweetie Belle returned giving him a kiss and skipped over to the door and went inside. Button Mash still standing there smiled and walked happily back home. As he left, Rarity pulled in and went inside. Rarity was so tired that she went straight to bed.
