@all: I know I've been doing it too much, but I can't help myself! A new fic I absolutely and by one of our favourite authors.

My Friend Molly by EndlessHearts

I must say this caught me off guard. It starts as a cute slice of life: Molly has an ordinary day, having thoughts about Bellucio and others in her class. Things happen, she builds up the courage to go ask Bellucio out on a date, but on the way a portal appears out of nowhere and transports her to an unknown part of Equestria. So far, so good. Now the spoilers.

Molly finds she's transported in an unknown part of Equestria, inhabited by a dark group of changelings (Chrysalis type) that have decided to live separate from Chrysalis or Thorax. There's a mystery, a desire of one of the changelings to go on a journey of discovery, and some very interesting world building. 

The big kicker, however, is this: the changeling, that Molly starts gradually to develop feelings for, shifts between boy and girl on a regular basis. And if the story continues the way it has been going so far, Molly likes (maybe even loves? :)) both forms, or rather she likes the changeling itself and not the form. 

Everypony knows I read changeling fics with a bucket of salt, but this raises so many questions (in a good way) that I can't stop reading! Both Dawn and Sunset (the changeling's personas) are beautiful and a reflection of one being!

EndlessHearts, you are magnificent. Whether you continue the adventure or have them visit Earth from time to time, I'll keep reading your story! I've said it before, I'll said it again: you've made me a fan! :)

Eeeh, I don't know. I find it a bit creepy. I mean... how exactly will they do it and what happens afterwards? The adventure is cool, though. Maybe include a bit more kicking and punching?

Also, you have a dirty mind, mare! Even I can tell the story is about feelings and such mush. You had to ask about the *yay* though. I’m scared to think what your dreams will be tonight. :) Actually, I'm not! I'm just curious about a number of things that I won't describe or Tech will chop my wings off.

Did you know that there's only been one case of a changeling going to Earth? Originally arrived there by accident, the changeling nearly starved until it started its own blog that kept it fed. As a result 3% of aethernet social pages are created and maintained by changelings, converting likes to food.

I... never asked Thorax what he was. I mean I assumed that he was a male bug because of that form, but what if he isn't and just prefers to wear it? This could cause such an international scandal! How could I have been so insensitive?!

Dark has teleported out of the castle. Sometimes life is truly stranger than fiction :/

Going back to the story, I think it's up there with the other great ones: My Human and I, the Danny Saga, My Rain of Daggers, School Days (needs a sequel!), DDD, Sweetie's Band (needs to be submitted), Space Molly, even Dark's latest Taur series. 

At times they are even better than books of established authors. :D Keep it up!

@EndlessHearts: I think it's magnificent :) As is your other choice. And when she stops pouting Max will probably say the same. I still think you should get some professional courses. I've asked a few of my professors unofficially and they would let you sit in our lectures.

@LyraHands: Sorry about this, but can you keep an eye on Max's home for a few days? With EndlessHearts at RRBB's and Max here (apparently) the place is completely empty.

Ha ha. She's doing better. Just a bit too much stress. We agreed she'll stay off the aethernet for a while. Me... I've no idea how I'll get ready for my exams. :/ Might have to retake the semester.
