//------------------------------// // Water And Wind // Story: A Good Share of Worlds // by Sea Pony //------------------------------// The howling of the wind rushed throught my ears as we flew throught the sky at the speed of lightning. Our Meek Sky was in danger and there was nothing that would get in our way. We've been travelling like this for one hour neither us showing any signs of slowing down. It was then that three figures zoomed past us and sudenly stopped in front of us. Me and Leaf had to stop to avoid colliding with them. I grew angry not only these bozos had almost caused an accident but they also slowed us down in our quest to save Meek Sky. It was then that I noticed their armors. They were angels of the empire. But what did they do here? The empire or The Council before them almost never sent Angel in Equestria. The leader of the group a sort of human and bird hybrid who looked vaguely familiar flew closer to us. ''Stop right there civilians! There's a terrorist attack going on in Griffonia. A mare burned down several building in the capital.'' So Phoenix arleady started her attack. ''We know that why we're here.'' I replied. ''Now if you excuse us...'' We had to hurry if we wanted to stop her before she did too much damage. The leader once again put herself in our way. ''This is no job for civilians stand down!'' I glared at her. ''I am the Guardian Goddess I have more authority than you, get out of my way.'' I said my voice didn't hide any of my irritation. My title didn't fazed her in the least. ''So you are Winter Song right? The terrorist is your sister with all due respect I can't allow you to confront her. You would be too biased when it come to her punishment.'' ''Punishment? She isn't even in control of her action!'' I screamed at her, my blood started to boil inside of me. ''It doesn't matter someone has to be hold responsible for this attack and mental illness or no your sister need to be punished.'' Mental illness?! She doesn't even know half of what is really happening and she expect to be the one to judge my own sister?! I turned to Leaf and with a cold fury in my voice I said ''Leaf go find Meek Sky I'm taking care of things here.'' ''What?! Are you sure I can save her?'' He asked uncertainly. ''Leaf you're part of the family now and I trust my family.'' Leaf was left surprised by my response. ''Beside I will join you soon enough now go.'' With a nod he flew off in direction of the capital. The two allies of the bird woman flew to try to stop Leaf. But I stopped them with a strong blast of water that sent them spiralling in the sky for a few seconds before they regain control. I was about to follow up with another attack but the leader put herself in my way. ''Frank, Sarah go! I will take care of the little Goddess.'' She said with a arrogant smile. ''But Solana she's the Guardian Goddess you will need help!'' Frank started to say but was cut off by a glare of Solana. ''In a fight against a strong enemy like this you would only get in the way now go!'' They were about to leave but I flew in front of them. ''Not so fast you're not going anywhere!'' I shouted while creating a wall of ice in front of me. Soon enough the wall formed spikes aimed toward the two angels but before the attack could touch them the spikes broke into pieces by a unnaturally strong gust of wind. ''Sorry little Goddess.'' Solana said with a superior smirk. ''But your fight is with me.'' The two angels once again flew off and I tried to stop them but I was once again interupted by a punch that dazed me just long enough for them to escape. ''Grrr'' I clenched my teeth and glared at Solana. ''Bad dog stay.'' She said with her ever annoying smirk. I didn't want to kill anypony today but buck it. She's getting on my nerve! With a angry scream I casted a spell that sent dozens of frozen stalactite in her direction. Solana dodged every one of them gracefully as if she was performing a very dangerous dance for her audience. Once she dodged all of them she drew her twins pistols and fired at me in rapid sucession. I didn't have time to dodge them all so instead I quickly cast a ice shield in front of me.. Despite that Solana smirked. ''I see you have powerful magic and maybe it was enough to defeat your foes in the past but you lack physical speed or power. I defeated criminals three time more powerful than you. Don't think you will win this fight.'' ''Oh yeah? And did any of your other foes defeated a Elder Goddess?'' I asked while snarling at her. ''Oh, that? Don't make me laugh the only reason you won that fight was because of that soul trade and the fact that Gaia was immobile the whole time due to her connection to Editor. You're useless against a moving target like me.'' ''Don't you think it's a little early to judge me?'' I said before my body shattered in ice shards. Solana didn't have time to react when I got behind her and slashed her in the back with a ice sword. Before I could land a second blow she casted a powerful gust of wind that pushed me away from her. ''How did you?... Oh I see how you did it when you casted that ice shield while I couldn't see you, you casted a ice golem in your likeness. But you are foolish, casting a golem as a diversion is a huge waste of magic for almost nothing.'' ''Almost nothing? The huge wound in your back say differently.'' I replied with a vicious smirk. ''Unfortunately for you I feel a gust of wind coming this way.'' I was confused at her reply when sudenly a gust passed throught my mane. The rito raised a hand and the gust sudenly turned around her like a miny turnado. Once the wind stopped her wound was completely gone! ''How did you do that?!'' I asked in shock. Solana looked at me unimpressed. ''Seriously? You don't know? And they named you Guardian Goddess. I healed myself with my own element. This is elementalist 101 if you don't even know the extent of your own powers how do you expect to survive as a Guardian?'' But then she smirked and laughed to herself. ''But look at me, giving tips to a low criminal. We have been playing together for too long, Its time to end this.'' With that said she holstered both her pistol. Suddenly a strong gust of wind circled around her I had to shield my eyes for a second and when the wind calmed enough for me to see her again she had a small sword in her hand. I think the neightponese call it a 'katana' but I'm not really sure. A amused smile crossed my face. ''Seriously? You can't kill me with a gun and you thought bringing a sword was a good idea?'' Solana chuckled. ''This show how little you know about elementalists. Sure in the hand of the common mortal this is nothing more than a toy. but in the hand of a wind mage like me a simple scrap of metal like this can shake the very earth.'' She was about to show her power when mutliple ice spiked were thrown in her direction she dodge them and looked at me with a offended expression. ''Enough talking'' I said. ''I don't have any more time to waste on you, this is your last warning get out of my way or you will find how I earned the title of Guardian Goddess.'' Solana only smirked. ''Bring it on little pony.'' And thus began a rivalry that would go down in legends.
