"Chryssy, I have a gift for you," Discord murmured in a singsong voice, appearing out of nowhere and wrapping his mismatched arms around the changeling queen's neck.
"Is that so, Dissy?" she murmured back, her hole-filled hooves sliding around his neck as she embraced him.
He pouted. "But I won't give it to you if you keep calling me that."
Chrysalis's eyes crackled with annoyance. "Fine." In an instant, her tone changed to sultry sweetness. "So what did you get me?"
Beaming, Discord snapped his claws and a crown made of some kind of swirling black metal dropped onto his lover's head. "I got you a crown that has all the souls of your enemies absorbed into it!" he declared cheerfully. "Aren't I wonderful?"
Chrysalis sighed with contentment. "Awwww, that's so sweet. You really do know how to make a girl feel royal."
