@all: Announcement
There have been some changes regarding the site's curator policy. Most of you are aware by now of our view on the type of fiction: close to the heart of the serious with the occasional darker or more risqué motifs. In this regard, it should come as no surprise that we are strongly encouraging members to focus on non-slap stories. 

It is alright to include elements of erotica (provided you tag your stories properly), since that is natural part of life, but having the same "hi, hi, and they yay" scenario is not what the site is about. There are already over 5 million users and I'd like to think the majority are here for the world that Midnight  Castle has created. 

Extremely slappy stories shall be marked in invisible, as shall be new submissions of this nature.

@all: Girls and guys, let me also announce our new list of curators that shall be taking care of our submissions (and coming to the rescue of LightSparkle who's probably read all the slap a pony can handle.)

Before that let me thank the retirees (I love you! Thanks for all your help!) and wish them a calm and pleasant existence in the sight. :) Out new list includes:

@PaintDrop: MasterOfThisAstra of disaster and Jade requested to quit for personal reasons. Keep in mind their finals are approaching and this is a rather important time for them.

I can assure you I have spoken with both of them in length and we agreed that this might be for the best. Hopefully we'll have them back once things become calmer. :)

Midnight Castle has become one of my all time favorite series! In a way you are the reason I joined (like your songs a lot). Also ForseFeedback sort of convinced me it'll be fine. So far I don't regret a thing :D

Give it time. In two days MixaMax comes back, along with her wave of grumpiness. I can literally hear her every day after school complaining how Chasers would mark the end of the series and if the second arc of Everhere isn't as strong as the first she'll quit...but not quite. :)

Oh, and let's not forget the piles of stories you'll have to go through. Thankfully, there will be less slap, I hope.

I liked the new chapter of School Days. You can tell that the author has grown. It's very different from the first: much more cheerful and the characters have that much more depth. Only ad thing is that I think things are wrapping up to a finally I'm a chapter or two. 

Maybe I'm wrong, but that's the feeling I get.

That's one way of changing the topic. Seriously, though the story is great. I agree that it has two chapters at most. Well, it could continue with unexpected drama, role reversals, even morph into an adventure story, but that would take so much away.

Good job, Endless! I bow to your skill ;)

And on a personal note, thanks for avoiding the wall of spammy tears (as has happened in the past). PMs were invented for a reason.

@TheRealLuna: Thanks. And Twi just doesn't have the time. I, grateful she finds the time to be on the site at all, let alone submit stories. Even if taur fiction isn't my thing, she has amassed a rather large following and her stories are getting better and better.

Last I spoke to her she was getting all excited about organizing the Chosen reading. She and True were going on and on about which audio spell to use.

@Luna: Will there be audio spell versions of the books? I know it's not the same, but it's really nice listening to the story before going to bed.

Reading to somepony sure sounds nice. Audio spells would never be able to replace that! Ambient sounds, though :) That would make for such a great atmosphere! I'll tell my dad about this. Maybe he could make something about it and start selling them (with the prop license, of course).
