//------------------------------// // Feeling Jealous // Story: What About Mothball // by CAPTAIN YOSHI HD //------------------------------// Screwball was sitting on a bench with a hoof to her face and making a jealous look. "I can't believe they didn't tell me about Mothball telling jokes around them, I would've enjoyed those jokes if I were there.", she said to herself. Dinky, Twilight Sparkle, and Flash Sentry went to check on her and see how she's doing. "Hey, Screwy.", Dinky said happily. "Oh, hey there, Dinky, Aunt Twilight, and Mr. Flash Sentry.", Screwball said. "What's going with you three?" "We saw here and thought we would check on you and see how you're doing.", Twilight said. "Oh, everything's fine.", Screwball said. "Don't play dumb with us, missy.", Flash scowled. "Something's definitely going on with you." Screwball gave in. She sighed and let her words fall out. "Ok, Mothball's been telling jokes to my friends and family.", Screwball said. "Has he been telling jokes to any of you lately?" "Yeah, he told us the joke about 'Polly want a cracker' and he told us about the one with where he was turned into an orange.", Dinky said. "Oh golly, I just can't stop thinking about that one." "I got to say, your boyfriend has phenomenal jokes.", Flash remarked. "I'm glad he's with us and not with those psychotic changing monsters." "Well, he was kind of a changing monster, but he wasn't literally one, and that's besides the point.", Screwball said. "I wasn't there. The rest of my family and friends were laughing their butts off, except for me." "Well, Sweetheart, it's not like they like anymore, they're just getting to know him, because he wasn't part of us, before Chrysalis was defeated.", Twilight said. "But, if you're left out, just go up to the pony who's with the group and tell them how you feel about them not including you." "And don't say that nonsense about me, your family and your friends not liking you anymore, because Mothball's amusing them with his delirious jokes.", Dinky said. "Thanks, Aunt Twilight, that's a good point.", Screwball said. "I'm glad I'm getting advice from a great aunt like you, who I've known since I was born. And Dinks, you're right, it is kind of nonsense about my whole family not accepting or appreciating me anymore."
