Prologue
The TARDIS spun wildly out of control, as Marcus and The Doctor tried to break through the Rift, “Well are we through yet?’ he said lifting up his glasses “Err, no, we seem to be getting some kind of resistance but with enough power we could get back, but we’ll have to land and give the TARDIS repairs, and refuel it, by using The Rift as we did with the Cardiff one” said The Doctor trying to land it. “Well let’s hope we can, because I am getting motion sickness” said an almost green Twilight trying to keep her balance. After much flying around the TARDIS had landed safely, with Twilight staggering out and vomiting in a nearby bush, “Well we could find a place to sleep for the night while the TARDIS refuels” said Jack “I’m feeling jet-lagged, I need some sleep” said a disoriented Marcus “I live in the library, I have an extra bed” said Twilight “I’ll go” said Marcus “Well, Marcus have a goodnights sleep” said Jack flying off to the TARDIS, unknowingly the four were being watched by a mysterious figure, who whispered “The Guardian Of Time must DIE!.
Chapter 1
Marcus awoke, he didn’t know where he was, he checked his surroundings and noticed he was human again, he saw that he was on a grassy planet with a red sky, he could hear The Doctor’s voice, “Marcus this is, Gallifrey what was your father’s home planet, it was destroyed in the Last Great Time War, this is only a holographic simulation for you to learn more about the Time Lords.” Marcus awoke, still a pony, he trotted outside looking at the night sky, Twilight followed him out “What’s the problem Marcus?” she asked trying to comfort him “I’m having trouble getting used to being a pony, I-I just want to be back on Earth” said Marcus with tears streaming down his eyes “It’ll be alright” said Twilight holding her friend.
Chapter 2
“Hey-TWILIGHT!!” said an impatient Spike shaking her awake “what is it?’ said a disoriented Twilight “Who is that guy in the spare bed? “said Spike looking her in the eye “Oh him, he’s a friend his name is Marcus, he moved from Manehatten” said an anxious Twilight, noticing that Marcus was awake and getting his hat and jacket on “Twilight I going to get some app-, who or what is that?’ said a startled Marcus “Heh-he Marcus, this is Spike, he is a baby dragon” said Twilight “I have a thing about lizards, anyway Twi, you want some apples?” said Marcus walking out the door “Yeah, I have some” she said accompanying him out the door, “Spike you coming?” asked Twilight, “No thanks” said Spike rolling his eyes at Marcus.
As the pair walked out, they were met by a pink pony, who said cheerfully “Hi Twilight - Hey I haven’t seen you before, I’m Pinkie Pie, what’s your name” She said “Marcus, Marcus ZeYphos, I uhh moved from Manehatten” said Marcus “We’re here to get some apples, come on Marcus” said Twilight “Hey, Marcus, I’m going to get some parchment, ok” said Twilight, “Alright” said Marcus. As Marcus walked towards the Apple cart, an orange Stetson wearing pony, who was running it, asked Marcus “Howdy stranger, would you like some apples?” she said “Yes, 10 apples please” said Marcus as he gave her the money “Name’s Applejack by the way, what’s your name Mister?” she said, “The names’ Marcus” he said getting the apples into his saddlebag. As Marcus made his way back to the library, he saw Twilight running towards him, it was too late, and the two unicorns crashed into each other, “Sorry about that Twi”said Marcus“It’s alright” she said pulling herself together, “You got the apples?” Twilight asked “Yeah I got em’” said Marcus “Well I got to go see The Doctor” said Marcus “I’ll come to, you’re the one that promised to show me the stars” Twilight said kissing him on the cheek.
Chapter 3
The Doctor and Jack were looking at the TARDIS’s console and were getting encouraging results “Well, well, any news?” said Marcus “Yeah as soon as we’re already we can leave” said The Doctor “I’m ready to go!” said Twilight with an ecstatic look on her face “Ok let’s go, you’ll love Earth” said Marcus. The TARDIS flew through The Rift and the four fell unconscious.
