The recon team was surprised by the person that stood in front of them. The person stood their ground showing no sign of fear. The person had a pony's head and was covered head to toe with white fur and their hair was rainbow and flowed like it was in softly moving water, they had a unicorn horn and wings.
The Infantry up front point their guns at it. The tank commander opens the to hatch of the tank and sticks his head and body out “state your identity.” he says
Celestia although surprised by the creatures but she kept her composure. She identified herself as requested, “I am Princess Celestia leader of Equestria and I require an explanation on what you are doing?”
The tank commander dropped back in the tank and tells the radio operator to radio base and gets orders to bring them to the base. Then he climbs up out of the hatch “Ma'am we were sent to recon the area around are base. Also my commander wants us to bring you to the base, just follow us and we will take you there.” he said as the tank turns around in place it's engine roaring.
Celestia was unsure about this but decided to follow the creatures. As they walked she noticed that more of the creatures came from inside of tents and from behind more of the large metal boxes, and of them staring at her. However this gave her a chance to see the size of the force that was here in case things went south. The large metal box stopped in front of a large tent with multiple creatures standing around it with weird objects in their hands.
The tank crew jumped out of the perishing and line up next to it when the commander came by “Officer on deck.” they said and the United States soldiers saluted.
“At ease.” Jack said and the soldiers went back to what they were tasked with and the tank crew help the mechanics check on their tank. “I presume you are Celestia.” Jack said looking at Celestia then slightly bowed in respect.
Celestia was at first surprised but quickly bowed back and said, “News must travel fast never the less I'm guessing you are in charge of these people?”
“Yes news does travel fast do to the technology my people have, and yes I am incharge of them.” Jack said smiling happily at Celestia
Celestia was now interested in what he meant by technology but kept her head on why she was here and that was to find out who they were and why they were here. “Well being you are on my land I feel you owe me some answers as to who you all are and what you are doing here.” Celestia said
“Well we are humans, are home country is the United States of America. As for your second question, we are still trying to figure out why we are here.” he said politely.
Celestia was trying to think, she heard of humans before but she couldn't think where and judging by the fact that many of the men standing around seemed to be confused by her she decided to believe him. “Well then if you are telling the truth then I have an offer for you.” Celestia said.
Jack was pleased that things were going good, but was originally confused at first “Oh and what kind of offer do you want to make?” Jack asked, princess celestia
“Well both know little of each other's people so I would like to invite you to my capital and see if we can work out an alliance and find you and your people a permanent home as this forest we are in can get a little out of control and you are clearly displaced.” Celestia said hopping to learn more about who these people were and she hopped Twilight was having the same success.
He nods “Thank you princess, I gladly accept your invitation. It will also be nice for my men to have a place to stay.” Jack said smiling to celestia
“Good if you will follow me, we will go to Ponyville and then Canterlot. If you want you can bring some of your men as a guard I don't mind.” Celestia said almost letting her excitement show.
“Thank you ma'am. Ok I want some ranger to come with us!” Jack yield and 12 rangers come running over, along with a halftrack. “and the tank crew that was part of recon.” jack added and the tank crew nodded and jumped into their tank.
“They can come to Ponyville but only the men can come to Canterlot as we simply do not have the means to transport such big equipment.” Celestia said eyeing the ‘tank’ as it seemed to be called.
Jacks nodded “That is fine, buy do you have trains, and flatbed cars for train?” he said and opens the back door to the halftrack “get in we will drive there, it is much faster than walking.” he said smiling waiting for her to go on first.
Celestia stepped in and found a seat then told them where to go and the metal box started moving. “When we get close you should let me out so I can go ahead and make sure everyone knows you are coming.” Celestia said.
“yes ma’am that would be the most wise.” he said as the rangers keep a close eye on the forest around them, and the perishing tank drives in front of them.
It wasn't long before Celestia told them to stop and she got out and made her way to Ponyville. As she cleared the forest and got closer to Ponyville she noticed Twilight with three weird looking people next to her. “Celestia did everything go ok?” Twilight said turning to her with a smile.
“Twilight it went fine in fact.” Celestia was cut off by a deep voice.
“The Americans are coming.” The voice said.
Celestia turned to see a tall man with scars on his face was looking at her, “Twilight who is this.” Celestia asked.
Before Twilight could answer the tall man spoke first, “Field Marshall Alexander Stutterheim and these are my two guards. I understand you are bringing the Americans so I suggest you tell them that we the Germans do not care to continue to fight.”
Although confused Celestia agreed then made sure the guards posted around Ponyville knew they were coming. She walked into the forest and quickly met the Americans. “Jack they know we are coming but this man said to tell you the Germans do not want to continue fighting.” Celestia said to Jack.
“ok tell him to come here to have his forces surrender. This isn't uncommon,german forces have been surrendering for a few years.” he said and the American troops stand down.
“Ok but after this I want to know what is going on.” Celestia said before heading back to Ponyville. Celestia made it half way from the forest to Ponyville when she was stopped by Alexander.
“I assume they want me to surrender my forces as they always do.” Alexander said.
“Um ya how did you know?” Celestia asked confused.
“I didn't but that's what they request and for good reason. However I am not willing to surrender my forces but I will talk to them. Please show me to them.” Alexander said pulling a strange device out from under his trench coat and dropped it on the ground along with a knife.
Jack was waiting for the german leader to arrive,he had the rangers act as guards just increase the germans try anything. “I am tired of all the fighting, I need a break.” he said looking up at the trees around him.
The bushes rustled as a tall person wearing a black trench coat walked out with Celestia following. “You must be the one in command of the US forces. I am Field Marshall Alexander Stutterheim.” Alexander said looking at Jack.
“nice to meet you, my name is general Jack. Let's make this meeting short shall we.” jack said standing up straight, and looking straight into Alexander stutterheim eyes.
“Yes. I have a request and that is simply a cease fire.” Alexander said with no hint of backing down in his deep voice.
“agreed, I am sick and tired of the war, and looks like both are forces are stuck here. So truse.” jack said holding his hand out.
Alexander simply grabbed Jack's hand and firmly shuck it. “Good to know we share the feeling however I think now we should learn about our new home. Celestia are we still going to Canterlot?” Alexander said.
Celestia happy that whatever that was about was over said, “Why of course, let's get on the move.” Celestia was taken aback by the lack of emotion and soul in Alexander's eyes and voice almost as if he was a creature from hell yet he carried himself with pride. Jack on the other hand had a gentle feeling about him and seemed to feed off of those around him.
Jack nods “but one more thing Alexander, you and your troops will have to pay for you crimes against humanity. It will be a fair trial.” jack said as he put a hand on Alexander's shoulder.
Without turning Alexander said, “I have had nothing to do with the rounding up of Jews and neither has any of my men and you're army with their bombers are no better.”
“my troops are only infantry and armor, and some fighter pilot. They never bombed anyone, that was the bomber squadrons to avenge London, and to weaken Germany.” he said keeping a straight face and remove his hand from Alexander shoulder.
“Then it seems we have no reason for a trial, however if I find out any of my men willing took part in rounding up anyone then they have to answer to me.” Alexander said before walking into the forest to follow Celestia who had gone ahead.
Jack also started to catch up to celestia. But stayed a little behind celestia. Since Jack couldn't stop looking at celestia big butt.
Celestia cleared the forest with Alexander next to her and Jack in tow as a person holding a weird device in his hands and was fully covered in heavy clothing with plates of metal attached. “Sir you're gun and knife.” He said his voice muffled by the mask he was wearing as he hand Alexander the device he dropped earlier and the knife he dropped.
“Thank. Any report on how shoring up the castle has been going?” Alexander asked as some of the Americans came out of the forest and wouldn't take their eyes of the soldier.
“No word. Want me to make a call to them?” The soldier asked.
“No I need you two with me, understand?” Alexander said and the soldier nodded.
Jack looks around at the town ahead “princess celestia should you go warn them before we go?” jack asked with a raised brow.
“They know I told Twilight before coming to meet you.” Alexander said.
“good let's get moving.” jack said and the American pershing tank and halftrack drive out of the forest line.
Celestia guided them to the train station they would board at. The train wasn't going to be there for a bit so they had some time to kill.
The tank crew parked there tank next to the train station and hopped out “sir permission to walk around town sir.” the tank commander said
“granted.” jack said letting them go and explore
Alexander sat at one of the picnic tables and said, “General why don't you come sit and we'll talk?”
Jack walks over to the picnic table and sits across from alexander “what do you want to talk about?” jack asked.
“What did you do before you joined the military?” Alexander asked.
“well I was a carpenter, I liked to build stuff with wood. What did you do before the war?” jack asked.
“I was in the military sense I could use a rifle. My first taste of combat was in the Great War, I even fought alongside Hitler.” Alexander looking at his hands.
Jack looks down feeling sorry for the things Alexander had to go through during the war.
A large train pulled into the station, it was adorn with gold trim showing the importance of it. Celestia got up and walked over to it as a door opened and two guards wearing golden armor stepped out and stood on each side of the door. Celestia smiled and said, “Train is here feel free to sit where you want.” before she walked in and sat down. Alexander stood up and walked with his guards onto the train and sat in a seat with his guards across the walkway from him. Jack also stands up and walks into the train with his rangers. “well let's get going.” jack said and celestia two guards walk in also, as the train starts to leave.
