What Kind of Magic Is This?
Prologue
Well what can I say here that doesn’t make me sound like a idiot? How about from the beginning.
Yes that would be great.
Would you shut up for at least a couple of minutes please, now where was I … oh yes I need to start at the beginning as to who I am and where I am currently.
It was a warm Summer day with no clouds in the sky thanks to the weather team working their usual routine that Rainbow Dash had taught when she was the captain of the weather team, though now she has finally achieved her dream of joining the Wonderbolts and currently on tour with them in Zebracai.
Anyway I’m on my way to see Rarity about if she is still available for the meteor shower tonight or if she is going to be working on her project for the Fall Fashion Show later this week.
As I walk up to the Boutique I can hear Rarity and Sweetie Belle having an argument about what the CMC were planning for their next adventure in helping ponies finding what their Cutie Marks stand for when I knock on the door.
Rarity opens the door looking a little frazzled and when she sees me she smiles. “Twilight Darling how are you today, and what may I ask do I owe the pleasure of this visit?” Rarity asks.
“Well Rarity I came over to see if you were still going to come watch the meteor shower with me and the others tonight.” I say to which Rarity’s smile slowly fades into a frown.
“Oh I’m so sorry Darling I wish I could go but I have to watch over Sweetie and her friends, because tonight is Sweetie’s turn for a sleep-over and I don’t want them to burn the Boutique down. I am truly sorry Twilight but if it was any other night I would. Please apologize to the other girls as well.” Rarity said with a sad look on her face while she shuts the door.
Sadly I turn around and start to walk towards Sugarcube Corner to see if Pinkie Pie is going to be able to go. I know I shouldn’t be sad that Rarity won’t get to go, but this will be the last one in my friends lifetime.
As I walk into Sugarcube Corner I can hear Mr. Cake talking with Pinkie about watching the twins for the next two days as both Mr. and Mrs. Cake had to go to Manehattan to visit a cousin of Mrs. Cake who was starting up a branch of their bakery there and they were going to help start it up.
Pinkie agrees to watch them and then turns to see me walking out, remembering that she had promised that she would watch the shower tonight. She asked Mr. Cake for a small break and come finds me heading to Sweet Apple Acres when she stops to apologize to me that she had forgotten her promise to me, to which I say that it’s okay and I do understand that the Cakes business is growing and I don’t hold it against her. She gives me a hug and says she’s sorry one last time before going back to work as I go to see AJ about tonight also.
After I knock on the door Granny Smith opens the door “Hello Twilight, are you here to talk to AJ?” she asks to which I nod, “Well I’m sorry to tell you Twilight but AJ is feeling under the weather and probably won’t be feeling better for a couple of days.” Granny tells me with a bit of a worried look on her face.
“Oh that’s okay Granny, I just wanted to see how she was and now I hope she gets to feeling better, okay” I say with a sad smile on my face. I turn around to leave when Granny says that she will tell AJ that I came over and hope she gets to feeling better.
Fluttershy was helping a pair of squirrels settle an argument with a few chipmunks and wouldn’t be there tonight either, and Spike and Glimmer were both in the Crystal Empire so I was alone to see the meteor shower. When the time comes for the shower to start I’m sitting on the hill a little ways from Fluttershy’s house with my telescope in hand and quill with paper floating next to me so I can write down every detail when I see a weird looking light start to fall in the opposite direction.
It can’t be a meteor because it’s falling towards the South whereas the meteors are falling towards the North-West, oh look at that it just hit one of the meteors and is now falling towards my direction and losing altitude. Oh this is not not good at all, because if it stays on the course it is on then it will hit Ponyville and either kill or injure many ponies and that is very very bad.
Okay it’s changing course again and now looks like it’s going to hit outside of Ponyville. Wait is this thing alive or being controlled by something, because I would love to study it after it lands or crashes by the look of it’s path.
The thing is now falling faster and is headed towards Twilight and she’s too busy trying to figure it out it notice that it is now dangerously to close for her to run till it’s too late and she takes the full force of the impact and the last thing she sees is the blinding blue, green and red light as it hits her.
“Hey , hey creature get out of my cart.” a voice says while poking Twilight with something. Twilight stirs and sits up to see a man with a spear pointed at her with a scared look on his face. “What kinda creature are you, because I’ve never seen anything like you before.” the man says before seeing some guards of the Boros guild and quickly called them over for help deal with the weird Krasis by the look of it.
The Boros guards talk with the merchant man while Twilight starts to realize she is no longer in Ponyville, in fact she can tell that she is not even in Equestria anymore.
