Oh my gosh, we have to go Twi!" Rainbow said after hearing what the Princess inquired. "Yes, you should really go!" Spike agreed with Rainbow, as he was trying to push Twilight back out the door. "Plus, I can eat all the gems I want!" "Hold it you two; we need to prepare for the trip. Also Spike, don't you remember what happened last time when I didn't stop you from eating all that ice cream?" Twilight reminded both her friends. "That was past Spike, this is future Spike, and future Spike feels perfectly fine!" the purple dragon informed Twilight. Twilight looked at both her eager friends, who were now grinning from ear to ear jumping up and down. Rainbow noticed that the lavender coated pony was looking at them and leaned in next to her ear and whispered as to not allow Spike to hear this mystery message. After what seemed like a few seconds Rainbow backed away, satisfied of what she told Twilight. "Alright, let's go! Help me get my dress from the Grand Galloping Gala and a few other items from my room, and then we will stop by your place and get your dress." Twilight stated, now giggling at what her friend whispered to her. "Uhm, that's going to be a problem. My dress was kind of destroyed in a washing "accident"." Rainbow remarked to Twilight. "You put it in with your darks didn't you?" Twilight asked her friend wryly. "Yes... But doesn't Rarity have duplicates of them?!" the desperate pony pleaded. "Yes, but don't you think Rarity will question why you need another dress?" Twilight said. Rainbow looked desperately around the room, her eyes searching for a solution. Just then a voice popped into her head, "Fluttershy! She knows all about dress making!" Rainbow found her way out. Twilight thought for a second, weighing the odds that this shy pony would be able to help them. "Alright, you go see her while I gather the appropriate items we need." Twilight exclaimed as she was reaching for her saddle bags once again. With that Rainbow tore out the door and raced down the streets of Ponyville at top speed, taking every short cut she could think of. She decided that flying would most likely make her look guilty of something, or she would wake one of the sleeping ponies. Although she could crash into something, but Rainbow Crash, I mean Rainbow Dash never crashes into things. "Rainbow." a mysterious voice whispered from the shadows of a dark ally that Rainbow passed by. Rainbow stopped dead in her tracks. Was she just hearing something, or did someone just say her name? She turned to where the voice originated from, but she could not make out a figure in the darkness. She still questioned it though. "Uhm... Hello?" Rainbow asked the darkness. Seconds passed and still no response. 'Man, I feel like a foal, questioning something that I thought doesn’t exist' Rainbow thought in her head. "Rainbow Dash, I do exist, and I have much to share with you!" the voice became stricter now, as though it had the tone which seemed it would command the Royal Guard. "I... Uhm, I'm sorry, but I don't know who you are?" Rainbow used this to her advantage. Find out who this mysterious person was. "Rainbow Dash, we have meet many moons before, you had freed me from my darkest tomb of regret, and jealousy. You are one of my friends." the mystery pony stepped from the shadows of the ally. Her star-filled mane spilled around the sides of her pitch black hood. Her face was darkened by the shadows that were cast from the material, and the flickering street lights. All Rainbow was able to make out was two lunar white eyes, a unicorn's horn, and along her back were two slits in the material so as to allow access for her midnight blue wings. Rainbow quickly realized who this was. She quickly knelt down to show her respect for the mare. "Sorry Princess Luna, I didn't recognize you at first... I-" Rainbow pleaded, but she was cut off. "Rainbow Dash, stand and meet me eye to eye. I have knowledge I must share with you." Princess Luna assured her follower, as she removed her hood. Rainbow stood with her gaze still focusing on the ground. Only when Princess Luna used her hoof to pull Rainbow’s head upward did Dash finally meet the princess' eyes. This was the first time she had ever looked into Princess Luna's eyes. It made her shiver; the thought of so much power seemed meaningless if you couldn't share it with anyone. "Rainbow Dash, your future seems to be intertwined with a close friend of yours. I know of the invitation you have received from my sister, but I must insist you do not share your feelings for your friend, Twilight Sparkle. My sister mustn't know of this." Princess Luna said. "Oh, and one last thing. Here." she used her magic to create a smoke screen on the ground between the two, and after a second the smoke cleared to reveal a brand new dress was lying on the ground. "Thank you princess." Rainbow said. "Now hurry, you don't want to be late for a meeting with a princess do you?" said Luna. "Right, thank you again, if there's anything I can do for you princess, I'll do it." Rainbow remarked to Luna. And with that the princess allowed her to leave. She darted straight back to the library. Only when she got there did she question how Luna knew she needed a new dress, but the princesses knew all, and her confusion was forgotten when she saw the beautiful mare waiting for her. "That was quick!" Twilight said to Rainbow as she entered the library. "Well, Fluttershy had copies of each dress as well for some reason." Rainbow said, trying to hide any mention of the princess. "Well, that’s kind of creepy." Twilight pondered for a minute, but she still had to gather a few things and there was no time to waste. "Where’s Spike?" Rainbow said as she looked from corner to corner of the library. "Well, let's just say future Spike and past Spike aren't going to be feeling so good soon." said the lavender pony, a smile appearing on her face.
