As for your actual question... I don't know. In I Am Who I Am it was mentioned that native horses are slightly larger (somewhere about Princess Celestia size) and "not in possession of the common tongue". Caprice is able to understand them freely, though. Judging by the reaction Caprice and the few other ponies from Equestria get you're likely to be hunted down by the corps. However, if we assume that ponies are an accepted, even if rare, occurrence then you're likely to attract quite some attention.
If you sing I bet you'd might even be invited to join a band. :)

@SweetStuff: It'll be a crime if you don't write it. I can literally see it as a comedic drama with slice of life elements. Maybe a touch of romance.

I don't know. Initially I thought of trying out something simple. Just a short of me going to earth, spending a weekend there or something, then coming back. I know it's a blatant self insert, but first person is so much easier... :(

@SweetStuff: I think it's a great idea. Start there, and just hint at getting in touch with a band. Maybe even perform a song and leave. Then, when you feel comfortable start a new fic with a friend of the band coming to visit you.
