Tales Of An Outcast

Chapter 30. A Brotherly Chat.

In the black, empty void of the nether realm a small point of light suddenly calls itself forth into being. For a moment all the light does is flicker but eventually it stabilizes and begins a trek through the nothingness surrounding it. The little point of light moves as if it has a purpose here among the nothing of this realm of creation, as it treks its way through the darkness. After what would seem like days of travel to any thing capable of doing so within the complete void this place is, the little speck of illumination comes to a stop by smacking into something.

“Hmmm what is this here that finds itself among the nothingness of my prison i wonder” Speaks a dark and malevolent voice. “A tiny speck of light how interesting” Something within the void moves slithering its way though the vacuum of this place to turn and bring its head to bear staring at this tiny speck of light with one massive slitted red eye.

“Tis just me brother.” A new voice calls out, emanating from the tiny speck. “I’ve come once more to see how you fare here in your prison of nothingness.”

“Your visits do nothing but infuriate me Xadaxadril.” the massive beast rages uselessly at the tiny speck “All they do is serve to remind me of how I am trapped here”

“Well I may be a being of light, goodness and life but I am still your brother and must admit to a small bit of pleasure in bringing you this torment, After all you did bring this upon yourself Seshareem. That pony gave you the chance to surrender before he trapped you here” Xadaxadril chimes out as the little speck of light pulses yellow and blue.

“AS if I would ever surrender to such pathetic creatures as those ponies.” Seshareem roars out into the void. “That Starswirl simply got lucky with his spell and managed to banish me here another moment and I would have squashed him like the insect his kind are”

“You have always under estimated your foes Brother. It has always been your weakness. You did not see that pony as a worthy opponent, whose magic outclassed your will, ferocity and dark arts, that is why he was able to banish you here to this long dead realm. Your continued inability to see them as worthy opponents will see the failure of your current plans as well” Xadaxadril says in a bored tone while slowly flitting about the void around his brothers massive form.

“They are nothing and they shall fall. This time they ponies do not have one that skilled in portal magic, and I have sent one of my most ferocious minions to deal with them.” Seshareem retorts to his brother attempting to swat at the light without success.

“You mean Crimson Flash. That monster may be strong physically but he has the same weakness as you. He under estimates his opponent, which will be his downfall just like it was yours.” Xadaxadril laughs as he says this flitting past one of his brothers large eyes before going down along his brothers black scaled back.

“ENOUGH” Seshareem roars out in fury bathing the void around him in glowing black fire. After his outburst and much to his dismay as always the speck of light that his brother always uses here is still flitting about around him. “Your presence begins to annoy me, begone brother and leave me to my plans.”

“Fine fine, I will let you be for now big brother, but I will check in on you again eventually. Tata for now” With that the little speck of light winks out of existence from this lifeless void leaving his brother alone once more.

“How I wish he would finally just die but never the less perhaps I should give my minions just a little more help.” With that Seshareem calls forth his power as he tries to decide who else of his minions to send forth against the Equestrians.
