The Romantic Adventures of Spike Drake

by HeySpike

Chapter 1: The New Student

It was a bright and sunny day in the marvelous city of Canterlot. However, there was something new occurring quite a distance away from the city. About ten miles away from the tall skyscrapers stood an exquisite building that was rectangular shaped: Canterlot High School. There was no other high school like it. If someone ever wanted to understand true friendship, Canterlot High is the best place to find it. Walking up to the main staircase leading to the front doors was a fifteen year old boy. He had peach-colored skin, green hair with spikes and light green eyes. For his attire he wore a purple hoodie with a green shirt underneath, blue jeans and purple shoes lined with white fronts and green shoe laces. This boy was known as Spike Drake. He was an only child of two loving parents, his father, David Drake, and his mother, Mary Drake. Spike and his parents had just moved to Canterlot from Manehattan because his father got a better job offer at Nightwalker Technology Incorporated, one of the best technology corporations in the world.

Spike stopped walking when he was halfway up the stairs, feeling slightly nervous about entering a new school. He was mainly nervous about meeting new teenagers since he grew up without making any friends because he was often a little shy when it came to meeting other kids. Little did he know that his life was about to change for the better. Gathering up his courage, Spike continued to climb the stairs until he reached the doors and went inside the school. When he first walked through the doors, he passed by two girls who were sitting on a bench. The girl who was dressed in a light yellow dress and had hair that was a mix of blue and pink was named Sweetie Drops, although she was often nicknamed Bon-Bon. The second girl who wore a pink tank top shirt, really short lime green shorts, white tennis shoes and had mint colored hair was named Lyra Heartstrings. Both girls were supporting a C-cup rack size. Lyra and Bon Bon had been besties ever since the sixth grade and have never drifted apart as the years flowed on by. When Spike walked by them, they both stopped short and looked back at him in surprise.

“Lyra, look! It’s a new kid!” Bon Bon spoke in delight.

“Yeah and a really cute one,” Lyra nodded in agreement.

Spike later passed by three more girls. The first girl was named Twinkleshine and she wore a light blue shirt and light pink skirt with matching shoes and knee socks and had hot pink hair. The second girl was called Minuette and she wore a light purple shirt, a navy blue skirt and long boots that matched the color of her shirt. The third girl was identified as Lemon Hearts who wore a light green athletic shirt, teal athletic pants, and dark green shoes and had cerulean colored hair. Just like Lyra and Bon Bon, the three girls also supported a C cup rack. When they caught sight of him, their faces all turned crimson and they gave him bedroom eyes.

“O...M...Goodness! A new boy on school grounds!” Twinkleshine beamed.

“What a hottie!” Minuette giggled.

“I hope he’s single!” Lemon Hearts put in.

Spike hardly took notice of the chattering from the girls and continued to walk down the hallway. He kept walking until he spotted a door that was labeled Principal’s Office. He raised one of his hands up and carefully knocked three times on the door.

“Come in,” came an adult female’s voice from inside the room.

Spike grasped the doorknob, turned it and opened the door. When the door was agape, he slowly walked inside and looked around. The walls were painted in a rich cream color with some dark swirl patterns. Near the door was a large bookshelf that contained some books, a globe and a few trophies. What got his attention most of all were the two women directly in front of him on the other side of the room. One was sitting behind the desk and the other was standing off to the side of the desk. The woman sitting behind the desk was in her mid-thirties. She had cream-colored skin and magenta colored eyes. She had long hair that was a mix of pink, light blue, green, and cobalt. She wore a golden jacket over a white and purple shirt and had on dark purple pants. The most alluring thing about here was that she was sporting an F cup rack size. The second woman appeared to be in her early- thirties and had a slim hourglass figure. She also had cream-colored skin, but instead had long dark blue hair and cyan colored eyes. For her attire, she had on a dark red-violet shirt, dark purple pants, and black shoes. Unlike the other woman, she was sporting an E cup rack size, although they still looked very attractive.

“You must be Mr. Spike Drake, am I correct?” the woman sitting at the desk asked kindly.

“Yes, that’s me,” Spike nodded.

“Well, it’s very nice to meet you. I’m Celestia Luminous, the school principal, and this is my younger sister, Luna Luminous, the vice-principal,” the principal introduced both herself and the second woman.

“Charmed, I’m sure,” Luna smiled at him.

“We hope that your stay here at Canterlot High will be a pleasant experience,” Celestia smiled.

“Me too,” Spike nodded.

The principal opened one of the drawers to her desk and pulled out a piece of paper that contained different class names, locations and times on it. “Here is your schedule for the semester, Mr. Drake.”

“Thank you,” he said as he took the paper from the woman’s hand and looked at it. He had a total of five classes for the semester. The first class was science, second was history, third was algebra and after that he had lunch. His fourth class of the day was P.E. and finally his fifth and last class was drama.

“We’ve arranged to have a couple of our students give you a tour of the school before you officially begin your year with us,” the principal continued.

“And we’ve taken a look at the files from your previous school back in Manehattan, and I have to say we were impressed with your grades,” Luna added.

Spike didn’t say anything, but he did look at the ground and nodded his head. This caused the two women to look at him with slight worry, since they expected him to be proud of his achievements.

“Why isn’t he talking?” Luna whispered to her sister.

“His parents did mention that sometimes he can be a little shy,” Celestia whispered back sympathetically. “And, I hesitate to add, he grew up without any friends. So this school might be able to help him with that.”

Luna’s cheeks turned red with embarrassment having forgotten about that. “Oh, that’s right. How foolish of me.”

“So, Spike, are there any hobbies that you like to do?” Celestia asked, hoping to get at least a few words out of him.

“Well, I like to dance, play sports and read books,” the green haired boy spoke nervously.

“That’s nice,” Celestia smiled.

“My sister and I are actually fond of dancing ourselves,” Luna also smiled.

After a moment or two of silence, someone knocked on the door to the room, startling Spike in the process. When the door opened, Spike witnessed another woman stepping through the door, and she was remarkably beautiful. The woman appeared to be in the same age range as Luna, except she was a couple years younger. She was also supporting an E cup rack just like the vice-principal. Her hair was a mix of pink, violet and gold, and her eyes were a shade of light purple. Her attire was composed of a light blue shirt, a sky blue skirt, a blue-green jacket, and golden high-heels.

“Here are my reports from last week, Principal Celestia,” the woman smiled as she handed over a folder containing a few papers.

“Thank you, Dean Cadence,” the principal grinned as she took the folder.

The third woman was about to walk back out, until she immediately noticed Spike standing to her left and she unknowingly began to sweat in certain places just by looking at him.

“Who is this?” the third woman asked as she gave the boy a friendly smile.

“Cadence, this is our new student, Spike Drake,” Luna introduced themselves to each other. “Spike, this is Cadence, the new dean to CHS. She had just recently transferred to here from our rival school, Crystal Prep.”

“Rival school?” Spike asked.

“Crystal Prep is the school on the other side of the city which has had a bit of a complicated history with Canterlot High,” Celestia explained hesitantly.

“I worked as a dean there for a while, but I felt that it just wasn’t the right place for me be in,” Cadence sighed.

Suddenly, an idea popped into the principal’s head. “Dean Cadence, since your office is on the way down towards the lobby, why don’t you help escort our new student there to meet his tour guides?”

“I would be honored,” Cadence smiled.

“Spike?” Luna asked.

“I’m game,” the boy replied happily.

“Well, then let’s go,” the dean held the door open for Spike, who walked out into the hallway and closed the door.

The two faculty women continued to gaze at the door with slight love-stricken expressions before giving sighs of passion.

“He seemed like a very nice boy, wouldn’t you agree, Luna?” the principal asked her sister before she added in her head. ‘And very handsome too.’

“Most definitely, sister,” Luna nodded before speaking in her mind as well. ‘If only he were a few years older, then we could be more than friends.’

In the hallway, Spike and Dean Cadence walked side by side. A few moments have passed, and Spike started building up his courage to try and have a nice conversation.

“Principal Celestia and Vice-principal Luna seem very nice,” Spike said.

“Yes, they really are,” Cadence nodded. “They’re much better to work with instead of my ex-coworkers back at Crystal Prep.”

“What was wrong with them?”

“They honestly weren’t really the kind of people you’d want to make friends with. It was a good paying job for me, but without friends, my heart just wasn’t into it. That’s when Celestia and Luna called me up and offered me the job of being the Dean here and I jumped at the chance.”

“Well, I can definitely tell that you belong in a school like this,” Spike smiled.

“You really mean that?” Cadence did a double take.

“Definitely,” he answered.

‘Awwww, he’s such a sweet boy. Not to mention attractive, kind, cute and—’ she started to say in her head before she mentally slapped herself. ‘No, don’t think of him like that, Cadence! You already have a husband and just recently had a baby with him! Although...it wouldn’t hurt to at least think of Spike from time to time in my head.’

Just when they were about to reach the lobby, another woman walked out of a nearby room and started to approach them. The woman was in the same age zone as Principal Celestia and also had the same bust size. She was dressed in a suit that was also similar to the principal’s except the jacket was a shade of black and her pants were colored dark green.

“Good morning, Dean Cadence,” the woman happily greeted her.

“Good day, Ms. Chrysalis,” Cadence spoke with slight hostility.

Once Chrysalis caught sight of Spike, she felt her heart beating faster than it usually did and she walked over to him until she was only a few inches away from him. “And who is this handsome young man?”

“My name is Spike Drake, but you can call me Spike,” he replied.

“Spike...what a stunning name, and for such a stunning boy such as yourself,” Chrysalis cooed as she started to gently run a hand through Spike’s hair.

“Umm...thanks?” the boy winced under the woman’s sudden touch.

“My name is Ms. Chrysalis, but you can just call me Chrysalis. I work as the nurse here at Canterlot High. I make sure to tend to the injuries that the students receive. My favorite ones are the boys, especially boys who work out and have a good figure,” the woman explained while continuously rubbing Spike’s head affectionately.

Not willing to let things go any further, Cadence grabbed onto one of Spike’s arms and pulled him over to her, away from Chrysalis’ wondering hand.

“You’ll have to excuse her for her attitude, Spike,” Cadence apologized. “She can be a little too friendly when it comes to male students...or males in general.”

“So I can be a little over-the-top at certain times with men, no big deal,” Chrysalis narrowed her eyes in annoyance.

“I’m still not satisfied with the fact that you tried to flirt with my husband behind my back, especially since he and I recently had a baby together,” the dean huffed in response.

“Well, what can I say? Women have needs,” the nurse shrugged it off.

Before the dean could say anything in return, the sound of two boys arguing could be heard coming from the lobby. When the three turned around and looked, true enough, there were two boys about three years older than Spike arguing in the lobby. One of the boys had light gray hair and had hazel brown eyes. He was wearing a red shirt, black athletic pants, and silver tennis shoes with red laces. The second boy had gray hair that had a bit of a stripe pattern to it and had navy blue eyes. For his outfit, he was wearing a blue shirt, also black athletic pants, and dark silver tennis shoes with blue laces.

“Come on, man!” the boy with striped hair pleaded.

“No! I’m not going to play naked Twister with you for practice!” the boy with gray hair refused.

The two boys ceased their squabbling when they turned and saw that the three were watching them, with both amused and dumbfound expressions on their faces.

“Is this a bad time?” Cadence asked with a smirk.

The boy with the striped gray hair smiled nervously. “Oh, we were just talking about—”

“It’s guy stuff; nothing important,” the boy with plain gray hair intervened.

“Well, I guess I should get going,” Chrysalis announced to Spike and Cadence. “I have to deliver my paperwork to Celestia and head back to my office to tend to my patients.”

“More like to give them a treat,” Cadence muttered.

Chrysalis squatted down until she was practically face-to-face with Spike, who started to turn red in the face. “I’ll see you some other time, Mr. Drake. And I’ll be waiting.”

She then put her two fingers on her lips, gave them a kiss and then placed the two fingers on Spike’s left cheek. This only caused the flustered boy’s face to turn red. Once that was done, the green-haired woman walked around the corner and continued down the hallway towards Principal Celestia’s office.

“Holy Mata Hari, that chick has some weird tastes in men,” the second boy recoiled in disgust.

“Tell me about it,” the first boy said flatly.

“Well, I guess I should get back to work too. It was very nice to meet you, Spike,” Cadence said to the younger boy before she walked back down the hallway and disappeared when she rounded the same corner that Chrysalis exited from as well.

“So, you’re the new guy we’re supposed to show around?” the second boy asked.

“It appears so,” Spike answered honestly.

“What’s your name?” the first boy asked.

“I’m Spike Drake,” the shorter boy answered.

The gray-haired boy smiled and shook the younger boy’s hand. “Well, Spike, it’s very nice to meet you. I’m Bob Nightwalker and—”

“Bob Nightwalker? You mean the son of billionaires Julius and Elsa Nightwalker, the ones who own Nightwalker Technology Incorporated?” Spike asked with excitement.

“The one in the same,” the gray haired boy nodded.

“Patrick Moonbeam is my name and doing voices is my game,” the second boy said as he shook Spike’s hand.

"What do you mean by 'doing voices'?" Spike questioned.

"Just what I said. I do voices," Patrick answered as he started impersonation different celebrity voices.

After that little "one-man" performance, Spike couldn't help but laugh at Patrick's funny shenanigans while Bob only shook his head in amusement.

“Patrick here happens to be my adopted little brother,” Bob explained. “He can be quite a handful to live with, but he’s definitely fun to be around.”

“I try not to brag,” Patrick shrugged.

“Oh, I see,” Spike smirked.

“So now that we’re all introduced, shall we get started with the grand tour of Canterlot High School before classes start?” Bob suggested.

“Sounds good to me,” Spike nodded.

“I’m game,” Patrick said in agreement.

“Well, then let’s go,” Bob spoke as he led them down the hallway that he and his brother came in from. “We so much time and so little to do—wait a minute! Strike that; reverse it; thank you.”

Spike and Patrick both exchanged bewildered expressions, but they shrugged it off and followed after Bob, officially letting the grand tour of Canterlot High School commence.

A few minutes after the tour had begun, Bob and Patrick led Spike down the multiple hallways of the school to show him where everything was located. Their first stop was at the school library. The two older boys stopped in front of the double doors and turned to the younger boy with smiles.

“This is our school library,” Bob explained. “This is where the students can come to check out books, work on homework or just hang out.”

“It’s also one of the best places to take a nap,” Patrick added.

“Why is that?” Spike asked.

“Because it’s really quiet in there,” the plump boy replied.

“Anyway, let’s go inside, but remember to be quiet,” Bob said softly before he opened the doors and led the other two boys inside.

When Spike entered the library, he couldn’t believe what he was looking at. All around the room were thousands of bookshelves of different genres of books. In the center of the library, there was a round table filled with computers, a printer and a golden statue of a horse head in the center of the table. There were also two flights of stairs leading up to a second floor, which also had a lot of bookshelves. By the looks and style of the room, it looked astonishingly similar to Belle’s castle library from Beauty and the Beast. However, they seemed to be the only ones occupying it at the moment.

“Whoa, this place is huge!” Spike said in awe.

“Just the best for CHS,” Bob said proudly.

“Basically, it’s a bookworm’s paradise,” Patrick smirked.

“Feel free to look around, but we should meet back here in 4-6 minutes so we can resume the tour,” Bob said.

“Will do,” Spike nodded before walked down a few of the aisles.

Spike had never seen so many books in his life. From hardcover to paperback, there were a lot of books necessary for school work and research purposes. When he turned to go into another aisle, he looked ahead and saw another person carrying a huge stack of books while trying hard not to drop any of them or fall down.

“Whoa!” the person cried out as she lost her footing and began to fall towards the ground.

Without hesitating, Spike made a giant leap and grabbed onto the girl in time. He might not have been able to save the books, but at least he prevented somebody from getting hurt. When he shifted his gaze down, he got an official good look at the girl in his arms for the first time. The girl had the same color of skin that he had and supported a D cup rack. She had long purple hair with a pink streak drawn into it, and she also had moderate violet eyes. She was dressed in a cyan shirt with a red-violet bow-tie on the collar, a purple skirt with a glistening star symbol on it, and purple go-go boots with the same star design.

“Are you okay?” Spike asked after an awkward moment of silence.

“Yeah, I’m fine,” she said.

“I’m Spike,” he spoke, not noticing that he didn’t seem to be so shy anymore.

“Oh, nice to meet you, Spike. I’m Twilight Sparkle,” the girl introduced herself before shaking his hand. “You must be the new student Principal Celestia was talking about.”

“You heard about me?” the boy asked in surprise.

“Of course. I’m Principal Celestia’s prized pupil and she always lets me in on everything that happens at CHS.”

“That does sound logical.”

“Yeah, I definitely think so too.”

“Twilight, are you okay?” came another girl’s voice.

When Spike and Twilight turned around, they saw a girl with red and yellow hair and lime green eyes heading towards them; also carry a stack of books. This girl wore a leather jacket over a red-violet shirt with a shimmering sun design on it, an orange skirt, and black go-go boots. The girl also had a D cup rack just like Twilight.

“Yeah, I’m okay, Sunset,” Twilight said.

“You really need to consider making a couple of trips, no pun intended, when it comes to carrying books,” Sunset sighed before her eyes fell onto Spike and her cheeks started to heat up. “Who is this?”

“Oh, I’m Spike Drake,” Spike answered.

“He’s the new student Principal Celestia was talking about,” Bob confirmed as he and Patrick arrived at the aisle.

“Oh, well it’s very nice to meet you. I’m Sunset Shimmer,” the red/yellow haired girl beamed as she shook his hand, which he politely returned.

“Sunset Shimmer here happens to be the co-librarian here at CHS, apart from Twilight,” Bob spoke.

“She also used to be a bit of a bully,” Patrick hesitantly added.

“PATRICK!” Bob scolded his brother.

“Sorry,” Patrick hung his head in regret.

“You used to be a bully?” Spike asked in shock, wondering why a seemingly nice girl would ever try to hurt others.

“Sadly yes, I’ve done a lot of terrible things that I’m not proud of,” Sunset shamefully admitted. “I even had to do some community service to the school to make up for all of the horrible things I’ve done. Eventually, I managed to regain everyone’s trust, but the mean personality that I’ve left behind still haunts me to this day.”

“Oh, I’m sorry to hear about that,” Spike said comfortingly.

“That’s alright, Spike,” Sunset started to smile again.

At that moment, Bob took a look at his watch and noticed that it was time to continue on with the tour. “Hey guys, I think it’s time we get moving. There’s still a lot more of the school we have to show you.”

“Okay,” Spike replied before turning his attention back to the two girls. “Well, it was nice meeting you both.”

“You too, Spike,” Twilight smiled.

“I hope we’ll see you soon,” Sunset waved.

When the three boys were out of sight, the two girls watched after Spike with romantic smiles on their faces.

“Spike seems like a nice boy, doesn’t he?” Sunset asked.

“Yeah...really nice,” Twilight sighed lovingly.

“Ooh, somebody’s got a crush on the new boy~” Sunset teased playfully.

“No, I don’t!” Twilight shook her head.

“Denial~” the red/yellow haired girl sang.

“Well, I saw your face turn red when you first saw him, so I’m starting to get the feeling that you have a crush on Spike” the lavender haired girl retorted.

“Wh-wh-wh-I do not!”

“Denial~”

“Okay, I’ll admit that he is a nice boy, but that doesn’t mean that I have a crush on him,” Sunset brushed it off. ‘However, I definitely wouldn’t mind being his girlfriend someday.’

“Yeah...he really is a nice boy,” Twilight nodded in agreement. ‘And probably the most handsome boy I’ve ever known.’

After they left the library, the three boys headed off to the cafeteria. The cafeteria had three entrances, but the boys walked through the center double doors. Once they entered the room, Spike was met with an astonishing sight. It was at least three times bigger than the cafeteria at his previous school. Near the walls, there were multiple styled columns and different styled school flags hanging on the walls. In the center of the room were many long rectangular tables with ten chairs at each one.

“This cafeteria is cleaner and larger than my previous one,” Spike said in awe.

“This is where we eat our lunches and/or hang out from time to time,” Bob said.

“I love a tour that includes food in it!” Patrick licked his lips.

Behind the food counter, there was an elderly lady with white hair in a bun and she had red-orange colored eyes. She wore a cream colored shirt, a bright red skirt, yellow rubber kitchen gloves, light yellow knee socks, open-toed shoes, and an orange bandanna with little red apple designs around her neck. Over top of her outfit was a white lunch maid apron that also had a dark pink stain spot on it. Her skin was all wrinkled from head to toe, but she still had a warm friendly smile on her face.

“Well, howdy do, Bob and Patrick!” the elder woman hooted once she caught sight of them.

“Good morning, Granny Smith,” Bob responded politely.

“How’s life treating ya?” Patrick asked.

“Same as always, same as always. I’m just waiting for my grandchildren to show up. They should be arriving any minute now with the cider.”

“Did somebody order a half a dozen crates of apple cider?” a female country voice erupted from the hallway.

“In here, dearie!” Granny Smith hollered happily.

Right after the elder woman spoke, another teenage girl walked into the cafeteria, carrying with her two crates filled with apple cider. The girl had tan skin, blonde hair with the end tied up with a red elastic hair band, had a few freckles on both of her cheeks, had emerald green eyes and was supporting an E cup rack. She was dressed in a white collared shirt with green shading near the collar, a short jean skirt, a brown belt with a red apple symbol on it, and brown cowgirl boots each with three red apple symbols. She also wore a light brown Stetson style hat on top of her head.

“Howdy, Bob; howdy, Patrick,” she greeted the two older boys.

“Hey, Applejack,” Bob waved.

“Back at ya, AJ,” Patrick saluted while Applejack set the crates of cider down onto the floor.

“Are you sure you can handle that load?” the blonde-haired girl asked out the doors.

“Eeyup,” came a deep male voice from the hallway.

What Spike saw next was that a really tall boy with strong muscles walked through the doors and into the large room, carrying three filled crates of apple cider. He also had tan skin and green eyes, but he had orange colored hair instead of blonde. He was dressed in a plain white T-shirt, long blue jeans, a brown belt, a red jacket with a brown collar that had two green apple symbols, and red and white tennis shoes. Once he entered the cafeteria doors, he set the crates of cider down onto the floor to take a breather. Once the blonde-haired girl caught sight of the third boy, her eyes widened and a big smile crept onto her face.

“Howdy, partner. Who might you be?” the blonde-haired girl asked kindly.

“That is a darn good question!” Granny Smith announced while watching the scene with interest.

“I’m Spike Drake, the new student here at Canterlot High,” Spike answered the blonde girl.

“Well, it’s a pleasure to meet ya, Spike,” the girl smiled and shook the younger boy’s hand. “I’m Applejack and this here is my brother, Big Macintosh.”

“Eeyup,” the older boy nodded.

“He’s not much of a talker,” Bob put in.

“Nnope,” Big Mac shook his head.

“But he’s still a good friend to everybody, right Bic Mac?” Patrick added.

“Eeyup,” Big Mac smiled in agreement.

The strong boy then picked up a couple of the crates of cider and took them back behind the counter and into the kitchen. The bottled beverages caught Spike’s attention.

“Who made this cider?” Spike asked.

“Why, my family and I did, sugarcube,” Applejack answered.

“You did?” the boy asked in surprise.

“Of course!” Applejack reached into her backpack, pulled out a red apple and tossed it over to Spike, who caught it. “My family and I live down at the farm called Sweet Apple Acres. We grow apples and turn them into desserts to sell at the market.”

Spike looked down at the apple in his hands and took a bite out of it and his eyes grew wide with due to the tastiness of the ripe fruit.
“This apple is delicious! You and your family must be experts when it comes to growing apples.”

“Why, thank you kindly, sugarcube,” the blonde girl beamed happily.

“Spike, I’m sorry for cutting this meeting short, but we’d better get a move on if we’re going to show you the rest of the school,” Bob politely cut in.

“Oh, alright then,” Spike turned to the members of the Apple Family. “Well, it was nice meeting all of you.”

“Same here, sugarcube,” Applejack winked flirtatiously.

“Swing by Sweet Apple Acres anytime, sonny!” Granny Smith hooted once again.

“Eeyup!” Big Mac saluted as the three boys left the cafeteria.

“That youngin' sure seems like a nice one! Wouldn’t you agree, Applejack?” Granny Smith asked, noticing the pining smile on her granddaughter’s face.

“Yeah...he sure does,” Applejack smiled lustfully after Spike before thinking in her mind. ‘He’s also quite a fine-looking young fella in my book.’

“Doesn’t he seem like a nice boy, Big Mac?” Granny asked the older boy.

“Eeyup,” Big Mac nodded.

Once they were done meeting with Applejack and her family, Bob and Patrick led Spike to another large room on the other side of the school. When the three boys entered the room, they saw a bunch of bleachers on both the left and right sides of the area. On the far end in front of them was a proscenium arch type of stage complete with curtains and stage lights.

“This is the gymnasium. This is where we have assembly meetings, P.E. whenever it’s raining or too cold outside, and where he host stage and/or musical performances,” Bob explained.

“Whoa, that sounds fun,” Spike said, feeling impressed.

“And we have super fun parties in here as well,” Patrick nodded.

“Now that really does sound like fun,” Spike corrected himself.

“IS THAT A NEW STUDENT?!” a shrill voice rang out.

Before Spike could react, he was tackled to the floor by another person. When Spike opened up his eyes, he realized that he was flat on his back with somebody sitting on his torso. He looked up and saw he was face-to-face with another girl. She had pink poofy hair, sky-blue eyes and supported an F cup rack. She wore a white shirt with short blue sleeves and a pink heart in the center of the shirt, a dark pink skirt with blue and yellow balloon patterns, and light blue go-go boots with pink bow-ties on each of them.

“Hi, I’m Pinkie Pie! I’m the party planner here at CHS!” she started to rabble on and on about herself while Spike was having a hard time trying to keep up with the information she was giving him. “Did you know I really love cake? I mean, who wouldn’t love cake? Cake is the greatest dessert ever! Except for ice cream. Ice cream is great too! What’s your favorite color? My favorite color is PINK! Although, pink is actually is mixture between both red and white, so I think pink is actually two colors instead of just one!”

Spike was dumbfounded by this girl’s ecstatic behavior. He honestly didn’t know how to answer her while lying on his back. After enough rambling, Bob and Patrick went over to them and lifted Pinkie off the younger boy, who had a little trouble getting back onto his feet.

“That’s a lot of information to get in just 30 seconds,” the green haired boy said after a moment of silence. “I’m Spike Drake. It’s nice to meet you...I think.”

“Just what Pinkie Pie said; she is the party planner here at CHS,” Bob clarified.

“Whenever Pinkie hosts a party, I guarantee you it’ll be the ride of your life,” Patrick added.

“That sounds exhilarating,” the young boy commented.

“I know, right?!” the pink haired girl beamed widely. “Ooh! I just had the best idea EVER! Would you like to see my welcoming wagon?!”

“I guess it wouldn’t hurt,” Spike shrugged.

Pinkie smiled as she quickly zipped out of the gymnasium and immediately returned with a big, colorful covered wagon. She pushed one of the buttons on the side and the wagon instantly opened up. The opened wagon was contained over a microwave oven, a few miniature flag poles and musical horns. Fun-loving music started playing from the miniature speakers installed in the wagon.

Once the wagon started playing cheerful music, Pinkie began to sing along to the tune. She then placed a big party hat on Spike’s head, blew through a loud trumpet, started banging on a big drum before she resumed dancing wildly. Once she finished singing, she came to a stop in front of Spike on her knees.

“Wait for it!” she beamed.

After she said that, the microwave oven burst open and a bunch of confetti shot out of it and smothered over the green haired boy. Just when he was about to recover from the blast, four tubes in the wagon shot out a bunch of wet cake batter, which smothered onto both Spike and Pinkie. Bob and Patrick winced at the mess in front of them.

“Oh, silly me! I must have put the confetti in the oven and the cake in the confetti canon! I don’t know why that keeps on happening!” Pinkie giggled as she shook the batter off of her body, but Spike was having some difficulty getting it off.

“What in the world is going on in here?” a female asked with a trans-Atlantic English accent.

When Spike turned around, he spotted another girl about Pinkie’s age standing at the entrance to the gymnasium. She had dark, curled purple hair, sapphire blue eyes and supported an E cup bust size. Her attire was a pale blue shirt, a dark purple belt, a purple skirt with three blue diamond designs on it, and dark purple go-go boots with a diamond decoration on the top of both of them.

“Oh my stars! What happened in here?!” she asked in shock while looking towards the boy covered in cake batter.

“Pinkie’s welcome wagon,” Bob gestured over to the whimsical contraption.

“Oh, that explains it. Well, never fear, as Faust as my witness, I will tend to your wardrobe personally until it is as good as new!” the girl cried out dramatically to the new student.

“It’s alright. I can take care of this myself,” Spike kindly tried to decline.

“Oh, pish-posh! I won’t take no for an answer, darling!” the curled-haired girl shook her head as she dragged Spike out of the auditorium, followed by Bob and Patrick.

“It was nice meeting you, Spike!” Pinkie called out from the gymnasium before she thought about him in her mind. ‘He’s such a cute little green and purple gumdrop.’

A little ways away from the gymnasium, Rarity brought the three boys to the costume department where all of the wardrobe designs were made for the stage productions that were put on at the school. She took Spike inside the shop while Bob and Patrick remained outside. After taking Spike inside the shop, Rarity removed his hoodie, shirt and pants, and took them over to the dry-cleaning machine. Once the fashionista did that, she put Spike into a white robe while they waited for his clothes to get cleaned up.

“Oh, forgive me, darling, but I forgot to introduce myself like a proper lady,” she announced while waiting for his clothes to dry up. “My name is Rarity. It is such an honor to meet you. And who might you be?”

“I’m Spike Drake, the new student. It’s really nice to meet you,” Spike answered courteously.

“Spike...that is such a charming name for a boy like you,” Rarity giggled.

"Oh...thank you..." the younger boy started to blush at the complement before he took a look at all of the costumes hanging up on multiple racks. "Wow, these costumes are amazing! Do you know who made them?"

"Why, I did of course, darling!" Rarity smiled.

"You made all of these?!"

"Absolutely. I happen to be one of the greatest dress designers in all of Canterlot! I actually own a small boutique in town, but my dream is to open a boutique in Manehattan! It is the one place with glamour, style, and sophistication!"

"Well, I for one have no doubts that you would have the best boutique in all Manehattan someday."

"Oh, you say the sweetest things, Spikey-Wikey~!"

Rarity finished by nuzzling his cheek with hers, making the boy's face turn even more red. A moment later, the dry-cleaning machine was finished with the cleaning process and Rarity led Spike into an empty changing room to get dressed.

“You look absolutely FABULOUS!” Rarity squealed with joy.

“All because of you,” Spike chuckled.

Soon, there was a knock at the door to the costume shop and Bob and Patrick peeked their heads inside. "Is he decent now?" Patrick asked.

"He's as good as new!" Rarity beamed happily.

"I've never been better," Spike sheepishly admitted.

“Well, now that you’re all dressed up, shall we continue the tour?” Bob asked.

“Roger that,” Patrick saluted.

“That sounds good to me. Bye, Rarity,” Spike said happily.

“Ta-ta, darlings!” Rarity waved goodbye to them.

The three boys said their good byes to the fashionista before leaving the costume department. Rarity watched Spike exit the room and heart shapes instantly filled her eyes.

‘Oh my stars, he’s the most handsome gentleman I have ever met’ she sighed romantically in her mind.

After leaving the costume shop, the three boys headed outside onto the football stadium and track. While Bob and Patrick led him across the field, Spike noticed that there were some football players practicing a game on one end of the field. On the other end, he saw another girl kicking soccer balls into a net goal without breaking a sweat. She had long rainbow colored hair, magenta colored eyes, and supported a D cup rack size. She was dressed in a white T-shirt with a rainbow colored lightning bolt design on it, a dark blue athletic jacket, a light magenta and white skirt, black shorts, rainbow patterned socks, and blue go-go boots.

“Who’s that over there?” Spike pointed.

“Oh, that’s Rainbow Dash,” Bob answered. “She’s the girl here who loves sports and has never lost a match in her entire life.”

“She’s also the captain of every sports team here at Canterlot High,” Patrick complemented.

“Yo, Dash!” Bob called out.

The rainbow-haired girl stopped kicking at the soccer balls and turned around. When she saw the three boys, she jogged on over to them with a soccer ball.

“Hey, guys!” she greeted them with a Tomboyish voice.

“Yo, RD,” Patrick high-fived her before she looked down and noticed Spike for the first time.

“Who’s the kid?” Rainbow asked.

“I’m Spike Drake,” the younger boy answered.

“Nice to meet ya. The name’s Rainbow Dash,” she introduced herself while bouncing the soccer ball on her knees. “I’m practically in charge of all of the sport teams here at the school. I’m in charge of dodge ball, basketball, soccer, football, baseball, volleyball, tennis—”

“We already told him that,” Patrick interrupted her with a deadpan expression.

“Oh, sorry about my over-the-top explanation,” Rainbow grinned awkwardly.

“No problem, Rainbow,” Spike brushed it off. “And as it turns out, I actually love all of those sports.”

This caught Rainbow’s full attention and she began to scoot closer to the younger boy. “Oh, really? Well, in that case, show me what you’ve got.”

With that, she kicked the soccer ball over to Spike and he kicked the ball straight into the net in just three seconds flat. Rainbow’s jaw dropped in shock until Bob used the top of his right hand to close it back up again. The athletic girl’s shocked expression turned into a look of excitement.

“I think I just made a friend,” Rainbow beamed. “So, what else do you like to besides play sports?”

“I also do a bit of reading in my spare time,” Spike added.

“Eh, readings for eggheads like Bob and Twilight. I don’t have time for reading anything,” she waved her hand in dismissal.

Bob smirked and put an arm around Spike’s shoulders. “Except for the Daring Do series, right, Rainbow?”

Rainbow Dash froze in place, not even blinking. Her face then turned a light shade of red and sweat started to pour down from her forehead. “Oh, yeah...heh...heh...I kinda...forgot about that,” Rainbow chuckled nervously.

“Hey, that’s my favorite book series ever!” Spike announced.

“Well, how about that? I like you already, Spike,” the athletic girl beamed proudly.

“Right back at ya, Dash,” the younger boy responded as they both bumped fists.

“So, are you guys ready to head back in?” Bob asked the two boys, who both nodded in response.

“See you later, Rainbow. It was nice meeting you,” Spike waved.

“See ya later, guys,” Rainbow saluted.

However, when the boys weren’t looking, Rainbow proud expression melted into one of romance while she looked at Spike with bedroom eyes.

‘Man, that Spike kid is so awesome! I can’t wait to hang with him again...and maybe steal a kiss or two while I’m at it’ the athlete said in her head.

The three boys were about to head back inside the school when they all heard a soft, female voice singing behind some bushes near the entrance to the building.

When Spike parted the bushes with his hands, he gasped at what he saw. He saw a few woodland animals surrounding a teenage girl around Twilight’s age who was singing like an angel from heaven. The girl had long light pink hair; teal colored eyes, and supported an F cup rack size. She was wearing a white tank top, a light green skirt that white and pink butterfly symbols on it, pink knee socks, and light green go-go boots. In her pink hair, she had one side held up by a butterfly shaped hair-clip. When the girl finished singing, the animals seemed to be cheering for her.

“Oh, thank you. You’re too kind,” the girl giggled.

“Ahem,” Bob suddenly cleared his throat softly. However, no matter how soft it was, the sound was strong enough to surprise the girl and the little woodland animals surrounding her. When she saw Bob and Patrick, she instantly sighed with relief.

“Oh...um...hi, Bob...hi, Patrick,” the girl spoke quietly while some her hair fell down and covered the left side of her face. The two boys in question simply waved in response while Spike stood there in awe by how talented that girl was with a singing voice. However, once her eyes fell upon Spike, she lost all nervousness and zipped over to the younger boy until she was face-to-face with him. “OH MY GOODNESS! Who is this?”

“Oh, um, I’m Spike Drake,” Spike replied after getting over his shock of how close this girl’s face was to his.

“Hi, Spike, I’m Fluttershy,” the girl grinned joyfully.

“I see you brought your animal friends to school again,” Patrick commented.

“Yes, I suppose I have,” the shy girl smiled nervously.

“Fluttershy, you know it’s against school policy to have animals on school grounds,” Bob reminded her.

“Oh, but I can’t help it. They just get lonely when I’m at school all day,” Fluttershy explained. “Besides, they know when to stay quiet whenever I have class; just as long as I save them some food from lunch.”

“Alright, just as long as you can handle it,” Bob sighed.

“I will,” Fluttershy nodded.

“So, you really like animals, don’t you?” Spike wondered.

“Oh, yes! Taking care of animals is my special talent! I take care of dogs, cats, bunnies, hamsters, bears, chickens, squirrels, raccoons, beavers, and many others,” Fluttershy enlightened him.

“I must say, you certainly have a way with animals then,” Spike said impressed.

“Oh, thank you, Spike,” she squeed softly as her cheeks turned a shade of red.

“Hey, we’d better continue on with the tour now” Bob said seriously after looking down at his wristwatch.

“I guess I’d better be going now,” Spike said to the shy girl.

“Okay, I understand. It was nice meeting you, Spike,” Fluttershy waved goodbye to him.

“It was nice meeting you too,” the younger boy waved back as he followed Bob and Patrick into the school, leaving the shy girl staring after him with a look of passion.

‘Oh my, Spike is the kindest boy I’ve ever met’ the animal lover sighed happily.

Once they were finished outside, they returned back inside to show Spike the remainder of the school. They showed him the computer lab, boy’s locker room next to the gymnasium, the student lockers, and the other remaining classrooms. Eventually, they returned to the lobby where the tour started and were sitting at a small table to relax for a little bit.

“Well, that about wraps up the tour,” Bob announced to the others.

“Thanks, you guys. I think I have a good idea on how to get around here now,” Spike smiled.

“Well, we certainly aim to please,” Patrick shrugged.

At that moment, a loud ringing sound was heard through the hallways. The first bell of the school day had rung. A few moments afterwards, the hallways began to fill up with a large number of students.

“Well, we should get to class before one of us gets lost and ends up getting locked inside the janitor’s closet,” Bob said while looking at Patrick, who glared in response.

“That only happened to me two times!” Patrick barked.

“Do you want us to escort you to your first class, Spike?” Bob asked.

“No thanks, Bob. I think I have a good handle on how to find my classes from here,” Spike answered.

“Okay, suit yourself,” Bob said.

“See ya later, little man,” Patrick turned his attention back to his older brother. “So about the whole naked Twister thing—”

“FOR THE LAST TIME, I SAID NO!” Bob shouted as the two older boys walked away.

“You know, I think I’m going to love it here,” Spike chuckled to himself as he walked off to his first class, ready to start the year at Canterlot High, unknown that there were certain surprises in store for him.
