Burst and Blitz stayed where they were, and stared each other down. Burst's eyes full of confidence while Blitz's were filled with rage. "I thought I had taught you a lesson."
"No. All you did was give me a reason to fight harder.", Burst said defiantly. "You've done a pretty bad number on my friends. But when things are darkest, that's when the light shines the brightest! IT'S MORPHIN TIME!" Burst activated his morpher! In a column of light, Burst transformed into his ranger form! But unlike his standard form, this armor was platinum! "BLUE-EYES ABSOLUTE RANGER!" Burst then dashed over to the ranger clones and engaged them all at once! Blocking every strike! Burst then unleashed a wave of energy! Destroying the clones on contact! Burst then turned to face Blitz. "This fight's between me and you Blitz! Let's finish this!"
"So you accept your doom. WELCOME TO OBLIVION!" The two charged at each other, and grappled! At first it looked as if they were evenly matched. But the tide soon turned as Burst pushed hard! Blitz fell to one knee! "How...how did you get such power?!"
"Dad helped me wake up.", Burst said with a smile under his helmet as he kicked Blitz into a pillar! Leaving a crater upon impact! Burst then rushed up to Blitz and pulled off a flurry of punches as Blitz was stuck in the crater! Blitz tried to shield himself in vain, but Burst didn't let up for a second! Burst then charged his fist full of energy for one final blow! " ABSOLUTE IMPACT!" Burst rammed his fist into Blitz's stomach! Causing him to wheeze as he fell onto the ground. Burst then nodded and walked over to his friends. "Sorry I'm late to the party!"
"You sure know how to make an entrance man.", Inferno chuckled.
"Um, Burst? I don't think the fight's over yet.", Moon noted.
"Huh. Looks like Blitz still has a few words left for me." Burst walked over to Blitz. "You wanted to be a hero. You don't know the meaning of the word. Especially with all the things you've done."
"What're you talking about?! I saved people! I had glory and fourtune! HOW AMI NOT A HERO?!", Blitz screamed.
"That's EXACTLY why you aren't one. You fought only for glory and fame. True heroes stand for what's right no matter how alone they are in the end. They take a stand when others won't and don't give up until they can't fight anymore! All you did was make mistakes so you could fix them. I feel sorry for you Blitz."
"SPARE ME YOUR PITY! I'LL PROVE I'M BETTER BY DESTROYING YOU!"
"Then come and get me." Burst took to the air, and Blitz followed like a mad beast! The two of them came to blows in the air! Each one a blur of speed and power! Blitz struck wildly at Burst! Each of his blows carrying an undeniable fury! Once could even see him startign to foam at the mouth! However, his fury made him blind as Burst dodged each one of his attacks effortlessly before firing a blast of energy! "WHITE LIGHTNING!" Blitz was sent flying across the sky, but soon recovered and made a charge towards Burst with a savage cry!
"RRRAAAAUUUUUUGGGGHHHHHHH!", Blitz roared as he charged! However, as he got close, Burst punched him in the face! Blitz hovered while he was reeling in pain from Burst's punch! "AAUUGGGHHH! CURSE YOU! HOW ARE YOU MORE POWERFUL THAN ME?!"
"Simple. I fight for people besides myself. My friends. My family. They're the reason I even strapped on this morpher to begin with. Whenever things get tough, I just remember everyone. Then I stand tall once again. Because their hope gives me strength!" A pure white aura then flowed over Burst as he began another assualt on Blitz!
"Grrrr!" Blitz unleashed a massive blast of darkness thanks to the damage he'd taken! But when the smoke cleared, Burst didn't have a scratch on him! "Impossible.......IMPOSSIBLE!"
"You might wanna rethink that."
"RRRRRAAAAHHHHH!", Blitz roared as he summoned a blade made of pure darkness and charged at Burst! But Burst blocked it with a blade made of pure blue light! Burst then slashed off one of Blitz's wings, and kicked him in the stomach before punching Blitz in the face! Sending him plummeting down to the ground and making a crater on impact! Burst soon landed and removed his helmet!
"Everyone! With me! NOW!" The other rangers gathered behind Burst. "Now. Channel your power into me." The other rangers channeled their power into Burst as he drew his new blaster. "That's enough. Thank you all." Burst then saw Blitz slowly rising from the crater. "Time to finish this!" Blitz snarled before charged at Burst as Burst began to charge his blaster. Burst took a deep breath, and saw that the charge was at maximum! "ABSOLUTE DRAGON MAGNUM!" A rainbow-colored energy projection of Blue-Eyes shot out as Burst released the trigger! Blitz froze and tried to shield himself! But it was no use! Blitz screamed as his body and soul crumbled away into nothing! When the light died down, there was nothing left of Blitz! "The dragon's been rocked!" Burst and the rangers cheered in celebration of their victory!
