I’m back to school. Things seem so different somehow. I can’t believe what I used to worry about a few months ago. Same with my parents. I finally got the courage and had a serious talk with them. Turns out I could pretty much do what I want. I wouldn’t say that all my life has been wasted not doing things because I feared they’d get mad, but there’s some regret I didn’t do some of the crazier stuff others have.

Let's talk of other things. How have things been going on the site? I still cry when I think how Max and Jade got engaged. So sweet.

Yes, I never thought of him being so impulsive. He didn't even tell me until after the thing. I doubt he'll share it to anypony, but he stormed in my room drunk that evening, literally chased my roommate out, locked the door, and told me all about it. (I'd never seen him even lick alcohol before!)
For two hours he went on and on how lucky he was and that he never dreamt anymare would go so far for him. Don't tell Max, but the engagement horseshoe she spent all her savings on was, well cheap by our standards. The gesture was appreciated by both Jade and his parents, though, to the point that he's actually been wearing it ever since.

At least that's one happy story, I managed to read what happened to RRBB :( Poor thing. I always knew she had problems with others, but now that I know the reason, I feel sad. If only she'd told me... or anypony things could have been so different. I don't envy PaintDrop. She's a really good friend, but she's been subjected to a lot.

Sis is fine. She's tougher than she looks (and she looks quite tough). My father send me a letter about her just this yesterday. He's worried that she isn't showing any interest in colts. I've been asked to talk to her on the matter. I really can't imagine that. Can you? Scoop is definitely not as innocent or naive as my parents seem to think. I'm tempted to show them her drawings.

Hooftoy... :) Just because she draws the things she does doesn't mean she isn't innocent. She'll have her crushes. And to be honest, I have no idea what she'd go for. She's strong so maybe she'd go for someone as delicate as Jade? Or possibly she'll prefer someone as strong as her? Time will tell. I still think you should have that talk, though. She'll appreciate it even if she laughs in your face.

I found a publisher for our book. So far they love it. They have requested a few changes, though. Apparently, dragons are a big thing in fiction now. Asked if we could add one among the Griffins. To be honest, I don't think you need to. They're just considering how to market you best. I expect a deal in a month, maybe less.
