	The school day soon drew to a close, and Burst headed off to Sugarcube Corner. It was during the week, so it wasn't all that crowded. "Rootbeer Float please Pinkie. Double Scoop."

"On it!", Pinkie chirped!

"Mind if we take a seat?", Celestia asked as she and Moon approached Burst.

"Not at all.", Burst said. "Huh. Look who's on the news." Burst, Celestia, and Moon turned their attention to the TV and saw Blitz and the other Lancers standing proud at their latest victory. "Hard to believe they're cheering from the same creep who attacked Chrysalis and Sombra not two nights ago."

"How do you figure that?"

"I saw Blitz morph. The description of his armor fits the details Sombra gave me to a T. And there he is parading around as everyone's hero. Him and the Lancers are so fast at their work, there's really not a need for us anymore. I guess on the plus side, I've got more time with you two now."

"Burst?", Moon asked. "Are you sure you made the right choice? I mean, you basically gave up on your dream. When you were a ranger you were so happy. You were living your dream out every day."

Burst sighed. "To be honest Moon? I don't know if I made the right choice. The Lancers are fighting, but they're only doing it for a paycheck. But with how fast they are, I really don't know if we're needed anymore. But should the time come, I'll take up my morpher again. Until then, let's just try to enjoy today." Burst gave Celestia and Moon a small smile.

Moon sighed. "I guess you're right."

Lancer Headquarters...

"You wanted to see me sir?", Gilda asked.

"Ah. Good of you to come Gilda. I've a special assignment for you.", Blitz said with a smile. "You're friends with CHS's star athelte Rainbow Dash. Correct?"

"Yeah. We were pretty good friends when we were kids. Are you thinking of recruiting her for the Lancers?"

"I'm not thinking. I WANT to recruit her. And I figured who better to get her onboard than an old friend? That is, IF you're up to the task."

"I guess it'll be nice to see Dash again.", Gilda said with a shrug. "Eh. I'll see what I can do."

"Dismissed." Blitz smiled as Gilda left. He then pulled out another file with Burst's data inside. "In the meantime, I've got another promising recruit to visit...."
