One of the things that makes him special is that he has no cutimark at all. Another thing that's odd about him is his fishy behavior. Every pony in town wonder why he has no cutie mark, but almost everypony passes it off as another oddity of Ponyville, and continues along their merry way.

Twilight and her five friends wonder why he has no cutie mark.
They have tried to ask him why, but every time they got close he would vanish into thin air like he was never there at all. Rainbow Dash tried and tried to go her fastest to get to him, but she was always short of a second.
"Uuuugh thats the fifteenth time we tried to catch him." said Rainbow Dash
"How does he get away so fast it dosent make any sense! Always he vanishes out of thin air" said Applejack
"We have to keep trying girls I know we can catch him." said Twilight
"I don't know twi if we will ever catch him" said Apple Jack
"Oooh what's this?" said Pinkie Pie
Twilight picks up a note with her Magic.
"What does it say?" said Rainbow Dash
"You can try to find me, but you will always fail. My cutie mark will always remain a mystery, so you'd be better off stopping, it's no use."
Twilight squinted, unable to read the name it was signed by.
"Does it say anything on the back twi?" said Apple Jack
"Ya but its just random symbols" said Twilight
Twilight shows the others.

"What in the hay? How can any pony read that?" said Applejack
"I don't know it's some language I don't know. Maybe I can find a book that will tell me what language it is." said Twilight
"While I try to find a book you girls try your best to either trap or catch him we need to find out why he has no cutimark and why he disapers so fast." said Twilight
"Don't worry twi, we'll try our best 'till you find the right spell." Applejack said
"Good, I'll start looking for any books on decoading tonight." said Twilight
Later that night
"So... What should we do first?" said Rainbow Dash
"Well we should think of a plan to trap him." said Rarity
"And how the hay do you suggest we use to trap him?" said Apple Jack
"Oh can we use cake or cupcakes to lure him into a hidden hole to trap him?" said Pinkie Pie
"But what if he... umm, doesen't like cake or cupcakes?" said Fluttershy
"What? How can anypony not like cake or cupcakes!?" said Pinkiepie with a burst of confusion
"Oh maybe I can chase him into a hole." said Rainbow Dash
"That actualy might work, Dash" said Apple Jack
"Indeed, but what will we use to cover up the hole?" said Rarity
"Frosting?" said Pinkie Pie
"No maybe we can find some tarp's at a nearby store."said Apple Jack
"But all the store's are closed at this time of hour" said Rainbow Dash
"Then we'll have to go in the morning then to get the supplies and the fabric and I need my beauty sleep." said Rarity
"We need your help if were going to catch him rarity" said Apple Jack
"Fine i'll go." said rarity disappointingly
In the morning the five of them get to gether to get the stuff ready to trap him
"Finally were done" said rarity exhausted
Just then the mysterious pony appears out of nowhere
Rainbow Dash gasps with fear as she says "GET HIM!!!"
The mysterious pony turns around to look at the five ponys running at him "Oh no"
As the five ponys are chasing the mysterious he falls into the trap with a loud THUD
"YES WE FINALLY DID IT!!!" screemed Rainbow Dash with so much joy
As the five ponys were cheering the Mysterious pony flys out of the hole "hah Thought you could trap me huh well you were wrong, you will never catch me" as he flies away
"Tarnation what are we going to do now?" said Apple Jack
"Let's go see if Twilight found a book on what language it is" said Rainbow Dash
"I can't believe we did all that work FOR NOTHING!!!" screamed Rarity
"Come on Rarity lets get over to twi's house quick" said Apple Jack
"Fine" said Rarity
the five ponys go to twilights house and nock on the door
"Twilight are you in there?" said Applejack
Twilight opens the door with a big grin on her face
"By the look of that face means you finally found a book on the language." said Rainbow Dash excitedly
"Yep it turns out the address is 1268 hoofington road." said Twilight
"Oh oh I know where that is follow me." said Pinkie Pie excitedly
The mane 6 run as fast as they can to the house.
as the 6 girls get to the house they stop to catch there breath
"This is the place." said Pinkie Pie
"Alright applejack BUCK IT DOWN!!!" yelled Twilight
"ON IT!!!" said Apple Jack
After a few kicks at the door Apple Jack finally bucks the door off.
"WHAT THE!?!?!?! said the Unknown pony
"There he is GET HIM!" screamed Rainbow Dash
"Ah crap here we go." said the Unknown pony
Rainbow Dash fly's as fast as she could to catch him.
The unknown pony hopped fast out of Rainbow's way making it to late for Rainbow to realize what just happend.
"Wahhhh" said Rainbow Dash before crashing into a brick wall
"hahahahaha oh my equesteria that's funny" laughed the unknown pony
"RAINBOW!!!" screamed Twilight
"That's it hurting my friend IS THE LAST STRAW!!!" screemed Twilight once more
"Ooooh boy I might have messed up." said the Unknown pony
Twilight sends a powerful beam towards the pony.
The unknown pony tried to dodge out of the way but the beam was to fast.
The beam hits the pony turning him into a big crystal ball.
"HAH GOT YA!!!" said Twilight with victory
"Pinkiepie, Fluttershy make sure Rainbowdash is ok." said Twilight
"OK!" said Pinkie Pie happily
"O-ok" said Fluttershy
Pinkiepie and fluttershy walk to Rainbow Dash
"Now i'm have a talk with him." said Twilight
As twilight walks up to the pony she stops to uncrystallized the ponys head.
"Let me go." said the Unknown pony
"Not until you tell us why you have to cutie mark" said Rarity walking beside Twilight
As Rarity and Twilight got closer to the pony they noticed that he is missing his left hoof and back right hoof
"What happend to your two hoofs?" questioned Twilight
"None of your business" said the pony
"You know you don't have to be rude" said rarity
"YOU ENCASED ME IN CRYSTAL!!!" screamed the pony
"That dosent mean you have to be rude to us" said Twilight
"YES IT DOES!!!" screamed the pony once agian
"You deserved it by hurting our friend" said Rarity
"Thats her own fault, she decided to fly after me" said the pony
Just then Rainbow Dash starts to regain consciousness
"Uuugg what happend?" said Rainbow Dash
"Oh oh we finally captured the pony we don't know the identity of" said Pinkie Pie
As the five ponys were talking Apple Jack walks over to something she saw out of the corner of her eye.
"What in tarnation is this? Hey girls come over her and look at this"said Apple Jack
The five girls walk over to look at the weird metal thing
"No, wait don't touch that!!!" said the pony
"What is it?" asked Rarity
"Hhhmm looks like some kind of robotic hoof" said Twilight
"YA MINE NOW DON'T TOUCH IT!!!" screemed the pony from the other side of the room
Twilight walks over to the crystalized pony and says "why shouldn't we?"
"Because it's mine and I don't want you to touch it" said the pony
"Can you uncrystalize me now?" asked the unknown pony
"Yes, if you don't run away" said twilight
"Does it look like I can run." said the Pony
"Well you can hop away" said Twilight
"Find I won't now uncrystalize me i'm starting to get a cramp" said the pony
Twilight starts to remove the crystal that encased the pony
After being uncrystallized the pony stood up on his back hoof and hopped over to the table to were his robotic hoof was and snaps the hoofs back into place
"Ah, that feels better." said the Unknown pony
The six ponys stared at the pony standing on his back hooves without falling over.
"B-but how?" said twilight confused as ever
"Ya I can stand on my back two hoofs so what" said the pony
"Wow" said Rainbow Dash surprised
"But no pony can stand on there back hoofs." Twilight said
"Well I can." said the Unknown pony
"You got a lot of explaining to do." said Applejack
"But first what it your name." said Twilight
"My name's Fallout Gamer, but just call me Fallout." said Fallout
"That's the most ridiculous name I ever heard" said Apple Jack
"You can't say much your name is APPLE JACK" said Fallout
"Well I guess its nice to meet you Fallout." said Twilight
"Wish I could say the same princess." said Fallout
"Ah so you know that i'm a princess, how? said Twilight
"Really you have wings AND a horn making you an ALICORN not hard to put the two together... Also I heard it around town soooo." said Fallout
"What else have you heard about us?" asked Rainbow Dash
"I know a lot like how you and your 5 friends are the elements of harmony and how you turned discord back into stone and even made him nice, and defeated sombra in the crystal empire." said Fallout
"So are you going to tell us about you or what?" asked Rarity
"Fine where do I begin?"
