														It Begins



It's a clear sky in Ponyville. Starlight walks out of the crystal castle thinking to herself, What better to start the weekend than a nice spring breeze. She inhales the refreshing air, looking at the clear sky above. No changeling invasion, check, birds flying carelessly in the wind, check, the whimsical scent of the flowers, check.

ZOOM! Rainbow Dash flying at full speed, check, ominous black star shape, check, Celestia's sun shining as brightly as can be, che... wait a minute. Starlight gazes at what seems like a star-shaped hole in front of her . 

"OOOOHH, ok, i get it, this is another dream." She stares at the hole, half expecting Luna to jump out of it, but it just stays there, floating in place. 

"Ok," she looks around the area to see if anyone else is seeing what she is seeing,

"Hmm. Everypony must be busy in town today." she inferred out-loud. She dared herself to take a closer look at the phenomenon. Without moving her head through the shape, she could see... stars. It almost looks like somepony opened a window into outer space. SMACK she slaps herself to make sure this is no dream... nope most definitely awake.

She had no idea what to do in this situation. Should she get Twilight? Should she try to close it? Should she-SLAM! she was knocked backed as something flew at her from the hole. She gets back up to her hooves and watches in surprise as the hole starts shrinking until it is completely closed off. Ok, that just solved it's own problem. Weird.

Starlight looked around to see what smacked into her, and what she sees is like nothing she ever imagined. It appears to be an unconscious creature with a white cape, a blue hat, and a white scarf with a blue buckle on it. It also seems to have appendages of sorts, but they're not attached to it's body. Starlight is extremely confused of what's going on. SMACK Second attempt to wake up, definitely awake, definitely hurts.

Not knowing what else to do, she levitates the creature, and his limbless appendages, and takes it back into the castle with her.

"Ok, knowing Twilight, she should be in the library or Throne room." Starlight goes through door after door, room after room, (She was surprised to see that one of the rooms is completely empty.) until she made to the library. She looked around and nopony was there, except spike shelving new books.

"Hey, Spike, do know where Twilight is?" Starlight asked the number one assistant.

"I'm pretty sure she's at the Throne room" Spike said without glancing at her.

"Ok, Thanks!" Starlight exits the library remembering just how lost she is.

Starlight opens the (what she believes to be) 149th door and it was just her luck that it was the throne room. FINALLY! She saw  Twilight looking curiously at the map.

"Twilight! I have something you must see!"
