The Perfect Rule of Empress Flurry Heart

by Razor Blade the Unicron

Princess is a Small Title for My Wings!

"I am EMPRESS FLURRY HEART!" cried the teenage alicorn from the balcony of the Crystal Castle, her massive wings flared out. "Bow down-th to me, thy subjects! I am here to bestow-th my mighty talents upon to thee!"
Flurry Heart turned around and walked back into her castle, her wings brushing up against the walls because they were so large. She frowned. Her mighty wings shouldn't be touching the walls: they should be filling the whole room!
"Servants!" cried Flurry. "Come-th here-th!"
"RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!"
There was no response. Flurry sighed. The ponies were always pretending not to hear her as a joke! She was going to fire her servants and get some of her loyal subjects to become some! All she needed to do was use her amazing power to make them love her even more! Flurry smiled, and ran back back out to the balcony.
"Subjects!" she called. "I have-th great news! My old servants are being-th fired! Thou who art most loyal-th to me shalt become-th my new-th servants!"
Flurry closed her eyes to briefly listen to the cheers of her subjects. Instead, screams echoed up. The cheers were so loud, that they were close to the sound of a tornado! Clearly her use of olde Equish was helping her subjects to love her.
"Run for your life!" screamed a voice from below. "She's going to TURN US INTO ICE SCULPTURES!"
"Hail Flurry Heart and all of her perfect glory!" screamed a voice from below. "She is PERFECT IN EVERY WAY!"
Flurry smiled and flew down to the ground. She looked over at a nearby Crystal pony, who froze and stared at Flurry. She then ran away screaming about the snow apocalypse. She cheered Flurry's name, and then ran away to tell the other Crystal ponies about her luck of seeing their ruler up close.
"Subject!" called Flurry. "Come back-th so you can become-th my servant and live a happy-th life!"
"Everypony run to the train station!" yelled another pony.
"Praise Flurry Heart!" yelled another pony.
"Thank-th thee!" said Flurry, pulling the pony over to her with her magic. "I shalt use-th my gift upon thee to make thou life greater! Then-th thou can become-th my servant!"
The pony shook their head in fear, unable to find words to say. The pony was go stunned at this amazing gift from their beloved ruler, that they could not find any words to say. Flurry's horn flared brightly with magic, and she let out a massive flurry of hearts out at the pony she was holding. They collapsed onto the ground as the freezing mind control took over them. They fell down on the ground and bowed to the almighty Flurry Heart.
"Subject!" yelled Flurry. "Will-th thou be my servant-th?"
"Yes, Empress Flurry Heart." replied the pony in a monotone voice.
"Yes, Empress Flurry Heart." replied the pony in a joyful voice.
"Wonderful-th!" said Flurry. "Let us go-th to find-th more servants for-th me!"
The pony nodded automatically. The pony gleefully nodded. Flurry started walking, then turned around to glance at the location of the Crystal Heart. The Heart was shards lying on the ground. The Heart shined brightly. Flurry nodded, and then began to walk through the streets. All around her, ponies were running.
"She's crazy!" "She's mad!" "Run!" cried the ponies.
"Praise Flurry!" "Our ruler!" "Love her!" cried the ponies.
"Oh, subjects!" said Flurry happily. "I love-th thou so-th! You need-th not to make-th everything perfect-th for me! I am everything-th perfect thou need-th!"
"Somepony, DO SOMETHING!" yelled a pony. "She's COMPLETELY MAD!"
"Everypony, BOW TO FLURRY!" yelled a pony. "She's COMPLETELY PERFECT!"
"Subject, that is-th so kind-th!" said Flurry, when a pony suddenly ran up to her. "Why, hello-th! Doth thou have-th a request for-th me?"
The pony suddenly turned around, and bucked Flurry in the face. She staggered back in surprise, and stared ta the pony.
"Subject!" she cried. "Why did-th thous do that-th?"
"You're mad!" screamed the pony. "Are you blind to what is happening?"
"Subject? What art thou talking-th about?"
Flurry stared at the pony. They fled from her glory. They fled from her in fear. Flurry looked around at her perfect empire. She blinked, and it suddenly became covered in snow.
"Huh-th?" asked Flurry, looking around at the snow. "Where-th did that snow-th come from?"
Flurry turned back to look at the Crystal Heart once more. It was shining brightly. She blinked, and it was in shards.
"The Heart!" cried Flurry, running up to it. "Who did-th this?!?"
"You did!" yelled a pony, running past her. "You broke the heart!"
"I do admit-th that I did that as-th a baby!" called Flurry. "But surely-th thou must be-th wrong!"
"Use your eyes!" they yelled, running out of sight.
Flurry blinked, and suddenly horrible sights rushed up to eyes. Frozen bodies laid on the ground. Some covered in hoof marks, as if they had been trampled. She took a step back, and cold, whistling wind caused her to shiver. Giant hailstones were falling from the sky, and she was barely being protected by the castle. She quickly flew into the air, and hid at the top of the underside of the castle.
"How did this happen?" whispered Flurry, dropping the olde Equish. "Did I do this? How did I do all of this? Where are my parents?" she paused. "Mom? Dad?" She raised her voice to a yell. "Mom? Dad?" She switched to a scream. "Mom?!? Dad?!? Mommy! Daddy! Where are you?!? HELP ME!"
Far off in Canterlot Castle, Princess Cadence was collapsed on the ground, endlessly crying into her hooves.
"Wh-why?..." she sobbed. "Why did we n-name her after our n-near-death experience in th-the Empire?... Why did w-we name her Flurry Heart?..."
