Rarity had just finished completing her big order for Sapphire Shores, and she had finished earlier than expected. She had the entire evening to herself now, and she knew what she was going to do.

Rarity kept up a ladylike image most of the time, but underneath that, she absolutely loved to fart. She didn't tell anyone this ever. She didn't want anyone to know that she had a very unladylike side to her.

She reached into her closet and pulled out a container of fart powder that she kept hidden. Whenever she wanted to fart for an extended period of time, she would go to the joke shop wearing a disguise that made it impossible to recognize her, and buy some fart powder. The container was currently about half full. She sprinkled it on some oats and hay, and wolfed it down in a matter of seconds.

In about a minute, the fart powder began to affect her. Rarity started out with a silent, ladylike fart, a slow transition for her, much like Fluttershy.

Pppppssssshhhhh

Rarity released a long, airy fart, and sighed in satisfaction. She wondered how many other ponies - besides Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie - loved it as much as her. She hoped Fluttershy was at least able to have fun with it, knowing she'd be just as embarrassed as her to fart in front of anyone else.

A few airy farts later, it was time to go more unladylike.

PPPPFFFFFT!

Rarity let out a loud wet fart. It was only one second long, but she blushed a little, even though no one was around. It felt naughty, farting so loud and unladylike, but Rarity liked it.

PPPPPFFFFFRRRRRT!

Rarity giggled a bit as a louder fart made its way out of her tush. Carousel Boutique was full of the smell of her farts, but she didn't care. She could open a window once she was done.

PPFFFFT! BRRRAP! FFFUURRP! BBBRRRT! PPPBBTH!

One fart after another erupted out of the white unicorn's butt, Rarity greatly enjoying each one.

Rarity farted for about ten minutes, and then waited for about thirty seconds, before raising her rear end in the air.

BBBBRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!

Rarity let out a very loud, boisterous fart that lasted twelve seconds. She sighed of relief, blushing a little from doing something so unladylike, but she loved farting like this the most.

Then, Rarity heard a knock on her door. She suddenly remembered - Applejack was going to deliver an apple-themed cake to her as soon as she was done her competition with Rainbow Dash. Well, this wouldn't be a problem. She'd just take the cake and it would be done.

Rarity opened the door. Applejack stood outside, carrying a small cake on her back. "Here's yer cake, Rarity."

"Yes, it looks absolutely smashing," said Rarity. She took the cake and set it next to the door. "Now, I'd best get back to the outfits I was..."

But before she could finish, she accidentally let out a loud, wet fart, which was three seconds long.

Rarity blushed beet red. "Excuse me. That was so unladylike..."

"Ah don't mind," said Applejack, and she let out a loud fart of her own, feeling neither shame or enjoyment of it. "Ah don't find it terribly funny, but it is kinda cute when you fart."

"Awwww," said Rarity, blushing a little more for reasons that no longer had anything to do with shame. She didn't think she'd be able to stand farting in front of another pony and ruining her ladylike image, but the fact that Applejack liked it made her feel more confident around her. Rarity farted loudly again for five seconds this time, giggling a bit.

Applejack blushed lightly, then sniffed the air. "Phew, Rarity what did you eat?"

"Just some oats and hay with fart powder in it," said Rarity. "I think it's absolutely fun to fart." Did she just admit this to a pony? Why was it so easy for her to tell this to Applejack?

"In that case, go on ahead and let it all out," said Applejack, who was overjoyed that Rarity actually loved to fart. Why did she love Rarity farting so much? What was she feeling here?

Applejack patted Rarity's butt lightly. Rarity liked this. She positioned herself so that her butt was in the air, facing Applejack.

PPPPPBBBBBBTTTTTHHHHHLLLLLRRRRP!

The loudest, wettest fart yet exploded our of her rear. She couldn't believe she was farting in front of Applejack, but she liked it even more than when no one else was around...
