Fluttershy had finished feeding her pets and was inside her cottage. Twilight was teaching Starlight a friendship lesson, Rainbow Dash and Applejack were competing in sports, Rarity was working on a large order of outfits for Sapphire Shores, and Pinkie Pie was babysitting Pound Cake and Pumpkin Cake. She wondered what to do next, and it suddenly came to mind.
She would be way too embarrassed to admit this to anyone, but she loved to fart. She didn't want anyone else to know, especially Rarity. She wasn't sure how Rarity would react if she found out that she loved doing something so unladylike. She probably wouldn't hold it against her, because she knew Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie thought it was funny and didn't hold it against them, but she still didn't want anyone to so much as hear her fart even once, not even Rainbow and Pinkie.
Fluttershy put on her exercise outfit for the Equestria Games, consisting of a yellow tank top and skintight white shorts. Unlike Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, and Twilight, Fluttershy didn't just love farting - she loved farting in skintight outfits. She didn't know why, but she really loved the sensation. Sometimes she'd use a black stealth outfit, and once she had used an outfit Rarity gave her for a fashion show, which it turned out was the next day, and Fluttershy had barely been able to wash it in time to avoid it smelling like farts for the fashion show, so she exercised more caution from now on.
Fluttershy prepared a meal of foods she knew would make her gassy, and devoured it as fast as she could, washing it down with a glass of water, and then she waited patiently.
After about ten minutes, it began to take effect. Fluttershy released a silent fart, and sighed of relief. A few seconds later she let out an airy fart that lasted six seconds, giggling a bit to herself.
A few silent farts later, Fluttershy decided to take it up to the next level. She usually started out with silent or airy farts, and then she would make them louder! The effects of what she had eaten would always last a while.
She lifted her leg and let out a moderately loud fart, giggling at the sound, for she also secretly thought farts were funny.
PPPPPPFFFFFFT!
Fluttershy let out a wet fart for about five seconds. Her cottage was starting to smell, but Fluttershy didn't want to open a window until she was done, for fear that someone would hear her.
FFFFFFRRRRRRRP!
Fluttershy giggled as she farted louder for seven seconds. A slightly louder, eight-second fart came soon after. Fluttershy waited about ten seconds, and then raised her butt in the air:
PPPPFFFFFFFRRRRRRRRT!
A boisterous fart made its way out of Fluttershy's tush for eleven seconds. Fluttershy blushed lightly, even though no one was around, but loved every second of it.
Just then, there came a knock on the door. Fluttershy was startled, accidentally farting for about two seconds. She decided to answer the door and politely send whoever it was on their way. She opened the window first, hoping it would clear the smell out before they could notice anything. As she made her way to the door, she could feel she was still very gassy, and hoped whoever it was wouldn't take long.
Fluttershy opened the door. Rainbow Dash was standing there.
"Hey Fluttershy! Wanna compete in a relay race with me?"
"Um... Yes, that sounds nice. Just give me a few minutes and I'll be right..."
BBBBBRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!
Before she could finish, a loud, deep-pitched fart made its way out of her butt. It lasted thirteen seconds. Fluttershy blushed beet red. Seven seconds into the fart Rainbow Dash fell on her back, laughing her butt off and kicking her legs in the air.
Fluttershy was so nervous she wet herself.
Rainbow Dash stopped laughing almost immediately. She knew how sensitive Fluttershy was, and the last thing she needed was for someone to laugh at her. "Sorry Fluttershy," she said. "I was laughing with you, not at you. Here." She found a bucket of water and quickly splashed it on Fluttershy, soaking her completely. Fluttershy was startled, but began to relax a bit now that all evidence of her accident was concealed. "I promise I won't tell anyone about any of this."
"Thank you Rainbow Dash," said Fluttershy, and she gave her a hug. She accidentally let out a wet fart, and blushed, but didn't mind as much, given that Rainbow Dash had just helped her to cover up something far more embarrassing, and Rainbow Dash didn't laugh this time. Feeling more confident, she said "Let's go do the aerial race now."
Fluttershy let out a few silent farts on the way to the race, and, feeling a little daring, farted loud and wet one more time, giggling a bit, which seemed to give Rainbow Dash permission to chuckle lightly. By the time they reached the site where the aerial relay began, Fluttershy's gas was gone, much to her relief.
