As morning came around Clara noticed her cottage smelled nicer than normal, she could only think of chocolate chip pancakes and maple syrup to describe the smell.
‘Whoever this Doctor pony is it smells like he can cook very well’ Clara immediately got up at that thought, while getting a little lightheaded from getting up too fast, she trotted downstairs to her kitchen to find a sight she wasn't prepared to see.
In front of her was a full course meal waiting on her kitchen table ‘A very well cooker is an understatement’ as Clara heard a groan from her living room, she decided to go investigate and she found the Doctor had tripped over the table.
“A..Are you okay” Clara asked very concerned for him and for that reason only. No need for your imagination. I can break the fourth wall too, get over it reader.
“I'm fine for now, this happens a lot ” He said clumsily getting up “Now then are you hungry?” He asked as he had a flashback to a certain pizzeria, and shuddered at the memory.
“Very hungry" and Clara’s stomach growled ,as if it had a mind of it's own, causing her to blush madly. “So Doctor what do you do for fun?” Clara asked wanting to know more about the suited pony as they sat down to eat.
“I travel through time and space as I watch the people I love die.” The Doctor replied deadpanning.
“That's awful.” Clara was now scar- “Wait , you travel in time and space?” She asked “And h-how is watching your loved ones die fun?”
“Well for one yes, and two I don't know.” The Doctor replied “Most of the people I know betrayed me, also I'm the only Time Lord with a t.v. show named after me.” The Doctor chuckled.
‘Must be tough for him’ Clara thought after all she knows what it's like to be immortal given that she can't die herself then a important question came up “What's a t.v. show?”
“It's nothing to worry about.” he stated while humming the tune the opening theme of Doctor Who “I'll tell you about them later if I can remember.”
Quickly finishing breakfast the Doctor started going for the front door when he realised something important but he he couldn't put a finger, well a hoof rather, to it then he remembered.
He had no idea where he was.
“Have you seen a blue box around here I can't seem to remember where I left it.” the British- American accented pony asked before his stomach growled again ‘Dammit’ he thought.
Clara just about laughed out loud but managed a giggle instead “There's a blue box just on the outskirts of Ponyville.” ‘Would he know how to get to town from here.'
“Would you like to show me how to get there?”
‘Called it’ the black mare thought to herself “I'll show you the way to Ponyville just follow me.”
“Okay lead the way" then something came up in the Doctor's mind ‘I wonder if Overwatch is out yet I need to check on that’
It was about an hour long walk before Ponyville came into view. A blue box was just outside of the town with a bench crushed underneath it not only that but a certain purple unicorn mare was observing it. She had bags under her eyes from lack of sleep and was struggling to stay awake. As Clara and the Doctor walked up her ears perked up and looked at the two.
“Not as much damage as I thought. My last crash landing took out an entire tower.” The Doctor then turned his attention to the tired mare “How rude of me (Where are my manners) I'm Clockwork and this is Clara, my associate who are you” ‘Clockwork? Really? That's the best I could do?’
“I'm.. Twilight Sparkle and I'm… looking into this box" Twilight said in between yawns.
‘Snorlax use yawn’ the Doctor thought immediately after twilight yawned ‘Ha you'll go to sleep after your next turn’ still thinking while keeping a straight face “You need to go to bed you're obviously very tired"
“But this box just appeared from the sky yesterday… I can't go to sleep now" Twilight yawned once again.
‘At least it's not Daleks this time ‘round’ “You need your sleep, even I sleep and I really don't need it that much” the Doctor was now contemplating on whether to continue to argue, put her in her bed, or just get in his TARDIS. He was leaning towards the last one because he was oh so patient.
“You wouldn't understand… this could change Equestria" she said, again with a yawn.
“I don't have time for this" the Doctor then pushed Twilight away from the TARDIS and unlocked the door ‘That was easy to do, I thought unlocking this would be harder’ He then proceeded to the console and prepared to take off. Running back to the open doors he met Clara’s face almost touching her nose, which caused her to blush “I will be right back" He said in a serious tone then shut the doors and finally engaged the engines.
The TARDIS began to vanish leaving two confused mares behind. After it completely vanished Clara, surprisingly, was the first to speak up.
“I'm going to Sugarcube Corner now" the pegasus flew off and left the purple unicorn to debate if this was a dream or not. "Can these days get any weirder" she asked aloud.
“That's just not possible" Twilight then headed home to try to sleep on what she just saw.
It was about two days later and Clara was seriously doubting he would ever come back. “He said that he would come right back, so where is he why isn't he back yet" she asked to no one in particular. She found herself crying for no reason after thinking he might not come back. ‘Why am I crying about this?’ she pondered about it for a moment. ‘I shouldn't get attached he will die before I know it, so why am I crying over this?’
“Doctor please come back to me, please don't leave me like the others."
