Chapter 1
So...Where do I start this story...well I guess at the beginning because that would make a lot more sense then starting at the part where PONYVILLE IS ON FIRE AND BEING ATTACKED BY AN ARMY OF DECEPTICONS LEADED BY THE MCP AND AGENT SMITH...oops spoilers!
To introduce myself, I am Greg your typical geek who spend his time complaining on Hasbro's Twitter page that the latest Bayformers movie was horrible. Yeah you get the idea of who I am
Now (sigh) Carl...my best friend. Now don't get me wrong, he's cool and will help you grinding enemies in any video game possible (oh the memories of when we played Terraria together!).BUT! And that's a big but...he's obsessed with My Little Pony. I have nothing against the show ,but he's just crazy about it. I mean, I saw him pray to "Celestia" and "Luna" (after googling it, I found out that they are basically the most OP ponies to ever have existed) so that he could go to "Equestria" (I knew what that was from him). Even people on MLP forums found him a bit over the top.
But I kept being best friends with him no matter how crazy he got (I mean I had my mental breakdown when they cancelled Tron 3 so I can understand his HYPER FANBOY-ITUDE)....until his prayers were answered...
"Hey Greg, come check this out!" Yelled Carl at 5am while I was trying to get some sleep.
"ughhhh?" Was all I could say in my sleepless state.
"I've finally finished my fanfiction about my alicorn OC!"Told me the guy who dosen't sleep at night to make fanfictions about his (absolute $#!+) OC
"UGH! I don't want to hear about Dark Night the edge lord (that was really his OC's name) !
"But, I spent many nights making it..." Said Carl in a sort of sad tone.
"Okay okay, I'll read it if that makes you happy" I said as I looked at the monitor where Carl was working.
A few minutes later, I had read the whole story he made about his OC. What a horrible excuse of a story...characters all fell in love with the main character like they knew him for some time, but they just met. Plus, the main character (Dark Night the edge lord)
had barely any development and was OP as f***. Was this really the story my best friend had taken so many sleepless nights to make? Did I happen to stumble upon an older version that wasn't finished? All these questions were going through my head as Carl asked me..."So, what do you think of it?"
As I tried to tell him my thoughts on his garbage that he made, everything around us went into total darkness with only the monitor providing light in the room. But before we could do anything, the monitor's light faded away leaving us in total darkness for a few seconds.
When the lights came back, I found myself in some sort of grassy plains (is that the right term for it?).As I looked around, I couldn't find Carl...but then, I saw a familiar pony (as Carl described them in his many daily MLP talks to me(even though I didn't watch the show( parenthesisception!))). It had a black and blue mane with dark blue coat...AND WINGS AND A HORN FOR SOME REASON! The last thing I remotely thought would happen actually happened...the pony that was in front of me was Dark Night the edge lord...and he said "THIS IS THE MOST AWESOME THING EVER!" with Carl's voice.
Then I passed out...
