//------------------------------// // Strange Things // Story: Ponyzilla // by godzilla54 //------------------------------// Twilight had spent weeks trying to learn of a way to stop Godzilla. It was clear that magic did very little to him, if anything. After that they had tried several plans that had little to no effect on him. These plans often ended in Twilight's friends almost getting killed. Rainbow Dash and several hundred other pegusi tried fighting it, but they were to small to even phase Godzilla. Fluttershy tried to reason with him, but he didn't understand what she said. This was what began to make Twilight curious, because no animal has ever not understood her. Even the animals in the Canterlot castle garden warmed up to her once Celestia helped her to gain their trust, but for something to acknowledge her, but not understand her, this was a little peculiar. Another attempt was to have several dozen unicorns try and use magic to lift him up to a great hight, and drop him. They were unable to lift him, not beause he was to big, but because the magic did not even work. This is what finally made Twilight curious. For a creature to not be effected by magic that past their skin was rare, but. Not unheard of. Up till this point Twilight had assumed that Godzilla just had this ability, but more powerful. However, lifting objects effected the gravity around an object, or in this case Godzilla. For this to not work, Godzilla must have not been effected by the laws of physics that were in Equestria. This was completely imposible, unless one thing was true. Godzilla was from another dimension. "Are ya' sure Twi?" Asked Applejack, "Cause that seems a bit far fetched." "I'm telling you it's true," Twilight said, "This monster Godzilla is not from our dimension. It's the only way he could escape laws of physics, because those laws don't apply to him." "It makes sense I guess," Whispered Fluttershy, "but how did he get here?" "I don't know, but if we find out how he got here, we may be able to send him back." "Ah suppose that may work. But how do we figure out where'in he's from?" "My idea is to look for anything different that happened recently. Maybe it will give a clue as to what brought him. Here. After that we just reverse the force and send him back." So the six ponies began looking for what may have sent the monster here. They went to a bomb shelter in Canterlot, and asked around to see if anypony knew what direction it came from. The majority of them, with the exception of Derpy Hooves, said that it came from beyond the mountains. So the six decided to go that way, only there was one problem, over that mountain was extremely dangerous territory. Very few ponies lived there and it was farely uncharted, other than the princesses who had noticed that there was an ocean beyond it, but that was about it. But Godzilla had to be stopped and this was their best bet. As they left the bombshelter, they noticed that Godzilla was leaving Canterlot, and heading towards other cities and towns, in particular, Manehatten. The good news was they could go without meeting resistance. The bad news, another city was about go be destroyed. --- "I still don't understand why this is happening!" Luna said. The to princesses stood there trying to think of a way to comprehend what this new anomaly was. The elements of harmony had begun to all glow strange colors, and a strange dust like substance was coming out of them. "What do you think it means" said Luna Celestia looked her sister in the eyes and said one word. "hope." --- As the six ponies began to explore the crator, they realized that winds were picking up for some reason. They began to ignored it once Twilight found something strange. There was what appeared to be a strange piece of metal. What made it strange was it appeared to be in a strange exo-skeleton shape. Twilight used her magic to dig it out of the ground, and found a metal dragon head. "Oooh! It's so amazingly super spectacular. What is it? Pinkie Pie asked. "I don't know, but I bet it has something to do with godzilla." Said Twilight. They stopped staring at the metal dragon skull when they felt the winds pick up again. As they looked around they saw a shadow pass over them. They looked up and were imediatly struck with fear, as three beams of lighting came down.
