//------------------------------// // Fused Worlds // Story: My Little Fusions // by The Saiyan //------------------------------// "Ow..." Twilight Sparkle held her aching head. Her eyes were shut and a throbbing sensation rang in her cranium. The alicorn had no memory of what happened, but she wanted to find out and so she opened her eyes at last. "W-Where am I..." she gasped, upon witnessing her location. The alicorn found herself in the middle of an urban city. But that wasn't all. She also found floating islands scattered around, pieces of land just idle in midair. She could not process what she was witnessing, yet at the same time, with what she witnessed before thanks to a certain pair of Saiyans, it seemed more plausible than she liked to believe. "Twilight?" a voice could be heard. "Spike?" Twilight called out as loud as she could. A small dragon came into view, visibly relieved to see a familiar face. "Thank goodness... Do you have any idea as to where we are?" he asked. Twilight shook her head, "No. It looks like Earth... Except horribly distorted and broken apart. I don't remember anything before that could've caused this." Spike shrugged, "Neither do I." Rubbing her head, the alicorn princess grunted, "Are the others here?" "I haven't seen them at all. They, uh, may have gotten lost?" he suggested. "Or maybe we were scattered. Maybe we can get some answers by flying around?" Twilight nodded, "Yeah, I think that's a good start. Hop on my back, Spike. I think we should do some exploring." she declared. The drake nodded and sat atop Twilight. The Princess of Friendship unfurled her wings and began to fly, with Spike wrapping his arms around her neck for safety. "Hey, Twi! Look down there!" Spike said while pointing downward. The alicorn did so, surprised to see what lied down. She saw a grassy field with simple buildings, a sign of familiarity finally. "It looks like Ponyville." but what caught her interest was the large metal building lying in the middle of it. "Why is there a Capsule Corp Building down there? Maybe Goku and Vegeta are more involved in this than I thought." Spike hummed, "Maybe we should check it out. Perhaps Bulma or someone has answers to what the heck is happening." "Let's hope." sighed Twilight. She lowered her angle of flight and landed in the distorted Ponyville next to the Capsule Corp building to meet with whoever's inside. Spike hopped off of Twilight's barrel onto the grass, choosing to walk the rest of the way. The two Equestrians walked inside, finding themselves in a lab. "Huh. Even in this world, this place looks the same. Is anyone in here?!" he yelled out, his hands on the side of his mouth. "We're in here!" Twilight and Spike nodded and ran through the hallway to where they believed they heard the voice. They found themselves in another lab, much bigger than the one that greeted them. There, they found a woman with blue hair and wearing a lab coat working on something on a table. "Oh, Twilight. Spike. I'm surprised to see you here." "Bulma?" Twilight asked, "How did you not expect us? We're in the middle of Ponyville." she grunted, "And for that matter, what is even going on outside?" "Oh." Bulma said. "That. It was a wish." "A wish by the Dragon Balls?" Spike realized. The scientist raised a finger, "That's right, Spike. Someone wished to hold the greatest tournament ever to prove to be the strongest in the universe. Luckily we're in a pocket dimension so our worlds are unaffected. The dimension was shaped after both of our worlds apparently, so there are no consequences. Luckily, in this world, death isn't a risk." "A tournament..." Twilight repeated. "Then the others have to be here. How do we enter?" Bulma looked at the Equestrians, "You can only enter the tournament if you have a five-person team. Once you do, you're able to participate." "A five person team..." Spike hummed, "But where are going to find more fighters? We can't go on without finding our friends!" Bulma smiled, "Luckily you aren't the only ones who showed up. The rest should be back in a minute." "Did you say something, Mom?" called out a boy with purple hair and wearing green clothes. Walking next to him were two boys with the same spiky hair to the sides, and wearing orange gi, one of them with long bkue sleeves, and the other with a red poe strapped to his back. Twilight raised a brow, "Trunks, Goten? You know about this?" "Hey, Twilight, Spike!" Trunks greeted, "Didn't think we'd see you here!" "Wow. A pony?" the kid next to Goten questioned, "Are you a boy or a girl?" Twilight sighed, "I'm a girl. Spike's a boy. My name is Twilight Sparkle. Who are you? For some reason, you look awfully familiar." "I'm Goku!" "G-Goku...?" Twilight and Spike blurted out. "B-But you're young!" Goku sighed, "Everyone's been saying that!" "That's Goku when he was a kid." Trunks revealed, "Everyone from different times are here and we wanna join this tournament too! Hey, we're looking for a team. You two would fit right in!" "Sure. We have to find our friends anyway." Spike agreed, with Twilight nodding. "Awesome!" Goten cheered, raising his fists. Then a flying handheld popped out of Trunks' pocket, "Greetings Twilight Sparkle and Spike. My name is Ziku. I will be your guide in this new world." it said. "Uh, okay?" Twilight said, unsure of what to think. Bulma stood up, "That's right. This is Ziku. I built it to help you all traverse this strange dimension. It can detect energy spikes and works as a map." "Alert! Energy spike located outside Capsule Corps building!" Ziku warned. Goku put his hands behind his head, "Is it food?" Bulma rubbed her temples, "You're young Goku all right." she mumbled. "I'm not sure what it is, but it could be an ally to help you gain more energy." "They better be strong!" Goku announced. "Alright! Come on you two!" Trunks gestured, the Saiyans flew off, causing Twilight and Spike to hurry up and fly after them through the building. "Be careful!" Bulma shouted, hoping the kids heard her words. "At least Twilight and Spike are there to keep an eye on them." The team finally made it outside, each of them standing in a horizontal line. Standing outside waiting for them were two people wearing Saiyan armor. One of them was large, had a balding head and a beard. The other looked younger and had hair that spiked down to his back. "Woah, look here, Raditz. A bunch'a kids and horses! They won't last a minute in the tournament." Raditz chuckled, "I see that, Nappa." "Why are you creeps here?" asked Trunks, getting into a battle stance. "You better not be here to just to annoy us!" Spike growled. Nappa laughed, "Aw, the dragon thinks he's scary. How about we show these children our new technique?" "With pleasure!" Raditz chuckled. "Prepare yourself, brother!" "M-Me?" Goku gulped. Nappa and Raditz made their distance and side-stepped to each other, their arms rotating as they go close to each other. "Fu..." "Oh man... They aren't..." Goten groaned, Twilight looked at Goten, "Aren't what?" "...Sion..." Trunks looked at the ground, clearly annoyed, "Oh man. They totally are." "Ha!" Nappa and Raditz shouted at the same time, their bodies leaning to the side and their index finger touching. They found themselves covered by a white light as both of their forms vanished. The team covered their eyes for a moment before the light dimmed at last. "What is that?" The strange figure pointed at the team, "We aren't Nappa and Raditz anymore! We are Natz!" "Natz?" Twilight, Spike and Goku muttered in confusion. Trunks and Goten pointed an accusing finger at the fused being, "Hey! That's our move!"
