(crunch crun-)

“will you stop that!”

“stop what?”

“that infernal noise!”

“what… this. (crunch crunch)”

“yes that!”

“but I’m hungry.”

“why are you eating on the job?!”

“honestly, we’ve been monitoring these systems for the past four hours. I got a bit hungry; so I decided to indulge myself.”

“I’m not paying you to slack off.”

“slack off, I practically keep this place from falling apart.”

“oh really, so what happens if we receive a signal and you’re not there to record it, hmmm.”

“oh, come on, we haven’t received a signal for three months, and even then, it was just pointless chatter.”

“the frequency was not calibrated then!”

“yeah… frequencies, whatever you sa-“

“what is it now!”

“I’m picking up something, establishing connection. It could be just another communication relay.”

“if it is, I’m going to have to re-calibrate it all again. (groan) oh god.”

“maybe it’s some sort of secret communist information.”

“…just stop, I have enough as it is then to indulge in your fantasies.”

“just saying. At least it would be better then- wow.”

“what did you do! My systems have all gone to fritz!”

“I don’t know! I’ve lost control of all systems… what the hell?!”

“what is that!”

“why are you asking me!”

“are you recording this!”

“are you serious!”

“hurry up!”

“… got it!”

“in less than a couple of minutes ago, we have received an unknown frequency. Upon connection, we have lost control of all systems, and

now an anomaly had begun to form as a ball of blue energy in the center of the room.”

“sir, I think we should leave!”

“nonsense, this is what we’ve been waiting for!”

“are you insane, this thing looks like it’s about to blow in any sec- sh#t!”

(cough cough)

“hey (cough), wake up.”

“(groan) are we dead?”

“no, you’re not getting out of this that easily, now come on.”

“Jesus, everything is destroyed.”

“where is the camera?”

“it’s uh… right here.”

“is it intact?”

“yeah, it’s still working.”

“good… it has seemed the anomaly had dispersed a wave of energy causing the destruction of all systems.”

“uh… sir?”

“what?”

“there’s something there.”
