Lunch
Twilight dragged me off to a restaurant while Pen and Cadence followed.
“Nooooo, I don’t wanna go there! It’s too fancy for me Twilly!” I whined as she started to drag me into a fancy restaurant. I know I’m being childish but I hate places that snobby rich ponies go to. She just kept dragging me along while I whined like a foal. Cadance was trying her best at suppressing her giggles as Penny watched me.
I mouthed the words ‘Help me!' to them both. They looked like they were about to until Twilight shot them her evil glare. Penny could only mutter the words ‘Sorry Candy!’ and I whimpered.
“We’d like a table for four please.” Twilight said clearly angry about something. I wonder if I did something wrong?
“Why of course madame.” The pony at the front said with a fancy accent. I can’t believe Twilight is going to torture me with fancy stuff and she’s forcing Cadence and Pen into it too! Why is she so mad? The cruelty.
“Hey Twilight are you okay? You seem a bit upset for some reason?” Pen asked only for Twily to growl at him in response.
“I don’t think she likes you very much.” I whispered to him. Apparently Twilight heard me and glared at me as I glanced up at her innocently trying my best to “act natural”. I was never a good actor but Twily stopped glaring nonetheless.
“Well just so you know Twilight and I are sorta friends, but we had an argument because she refused to send me back and things got awkward from there.” Penny explained.
“Send you where?” I asked, puzzled but wanting to know more. Twilight sent Pen a sharp glare as if telling him to shut up, but I always get my way. To make sure I’d get an answer I made bambi eyes, a secret trick Pinkie taught me.
“Candy there’s a lot of things you don’t know about me, but all you need to know is that some things were said and some hearts were broken. We haven’t spoke ever since.” He explained to me.
“I want to know! Please tell me.” I asked and Twilight face hoofed herself and groaned.
“I promise to tell you soon but I think some lunch is in order.” He said sheepishly as his tummy growled. I giggled and nodded, just now realizing how hungry I was too. Once we sat down we were given menu’s. I took one look at the menu and I felt my mind go blank… I didn’t even know what half of this meant.
I looked over at everyone else and saw that they seemed to understand this stuff. I tapped Cadence, who was sitting down next to me, she looked over~ “Is there something you need Candy?”
“U-Um… I… I don’t know what any of this means?” I asked sheepishly. Cadence giggled and pointed to something called “Molten Lava”. It sounds like it’d burn my tongue off but I might as well try it.
After ordering from the waiter and getting our drinks we all sat there idly.
“You know the Molten Lava is a Chocolate cake right?” Pen asked.
“Oh my gosh really!?” I asked practically leaping out of my seat.
“Of course! It’s good, but I think I’ll just stick with the potato soup.” Pen said with a chuckle.
“Whatever you want Penny, but I’m getting some nice delicious chocolate cake!” I exclaimed, excited for my cake. I started bouncing up and down until Twilight gave me a disapproving look so I sat down. Sometimes Twily can be a bit of a fun-killer.
When the waiter came back with our food I saw a chocolate cake with melted chocolate sauce on top. It looked delicious so I grabbed it instead of waiting for him to set it down like everyone else did.
“You really love sweets don’t you?” Cadance asked with a wink.
“Sweets are the best! I like anything sweet.” I said and then pointed to my cutie mark~ “I’m also super good at making sweets too!”
“I bet you are~” Cadance said grinning at me.
“Maybe we make something someti~” I started but Twily shoved her hoof over my mouth. Cadence winked at me~ “Sure, anytime you’d like.” After we finished lunch we started to walk towards my studio again. Wonderland isn’t so bad, now is it?
