The next morning, Twilight and her friends wait in the waiting room of Ponyville Pet Care. The door then opens and the doctor lets Martha and Skits out of the room. The two dogs are then approached by the group.

“Hey, Martha. Hi, Skits.”, Twilight says. “How are you two feeling?”

“We've never been better.”, Martha says. “That was one very resourceful room.”

Skits barks in agreement.

“Really?”, Fluttershy asks. “Tell us about it.”

“Well, after we were healed from our fall, we were then given massages, good mud baths, lots of dirt to dig and all the food we could eat.”, Martha says. “It was like we were in doggy heaven.”

“Wow.”, they all say.

“You two really had fun in there, didn't you?”, Pinkie asks.

“Yeah. Except there wasn't any meat.”, Martha says.

“What's meat?”, Spike asks.

“Oh. Meat is actually...”, Martha says before she realizes that this is a world inhabited by ponies. “Oh. Uh...never mind.”

“Well, anyway, we thought that you would feel lonesome since there aren't any other pets, so we brought our pets to make friends with.”, Twilight says as their pets enter.

“Who are they?”, Martha asks.

“Martha, Skits, theses are our pets.”, Twilight says. “Owlowiscious, Opalescence, Tank, Winona, Angel and Gummy.”

“Wow. Animals having pets is extremely baffling.”, Martha says.

Skits barks in confusion.

“Oh. 'Baffling' means something that's completely impossible to understand.”

“Oh!”, Rarity says. “I forgot to ask the two of you something.”

“What is it?”, Martha asks.

“How did you two get here?”

They both think but then realize something is wrong. They both start to panic.

“Oh! How did we get here?”, Martha says. “I don't know. I can't remember.”

Skits barks.

“What?”, Fluttershy says. “You both don't know how you got here?”

They both shake their heads.

“They must have suffered amnesia when they fell.”, Rainbow suggests.

“Don't worry, guys. You'll remember again soon.”, Applejack says.

“Hey, since we're new here, maybe you can give us a tour of your town.”, Martha says.

“Sure. Come with us.”, Twilight says.

They all exit the hospital and they go around town.



At the local ice cream parlor, Helen sits with her friends and her cousin. They notice that her eyes are red and tired.

“Whoa, Helen. What's wrong with you?”, Alice asks her.

“Huh. Oh, sorry.”, Helen replies. “I've been crying in my sleep last night.”

“Que paso? What happened?”, Carolina asks.

“I had a nightmare about that monster.”

“Wait, you had a nightmare about that monster?”, Truman asks. “So did I.”

“You did?”

“Are you kidding? Last night, I had to sleep with four nightlights.”, he says.

“Are we running into a theme? I had that nightmare as well.”, Carolina says.

“Same here.”, say T.D.

“Me too.”, Alice says.

“Oh, my goodness. We all had the same nightmare?”, Helen says. “This can't be a coincidence.”

“You don't think...”, Helen says before they all turn to all of the people in town. “This is gonna be rough.”



Ralphie quacks and flaps vigorously while being held by magic.

“Stop that infernal flapping, you feathered pest!”, Keretomatus says.

Eventually, Ralphie then becomes controlled and stops flapping. He then puts the duck with some other controlled pets. He then turns his attention to Ralphie's ducklings.

“Now for you.”, he says.

Before he starts, his sons burst into the room.

“Father, we have something to tell you.”, his sons all shout in unison.

He then pins the princes down and growls at them.

“How dare you interrupt my process of creating an army for my plan?!”, he shouts.

“But, we wanted to tell you something.”, Martarmus says.

“What?”

“We found the dogs.”, Horlagamous says.

“What dogs?”, the emperor asks.

“The dogs that you tried to capture but disappeared.”, Scorjosemal says.

“What?”

He then goes to the viewing pool and stirs the water with his finger. The viewing pool then shows the dogs with ponies going around town.

“Those are the dogs.”, he says. “And they're with those colorful brutes.”

“Let's get them.”, Horlagamous says.

The emperor suddenly stops the princes.

“No. We can't step outside yet.”, the emperor says. “Our army isn't complete.”

“So how can we capture them if we can't step outside?”, Martarmus says.

The emperor thinks and then gets an idea. He then leaves but stops for a second and turns to the rest of the chained animals.

“Don't think you'll be spared in my absence.”, the monster says before he leaves.

He then approaches his spell cauldron. He then grabs several potions and puts them in the cauldron.

“What are you planning, father?”, Scorjosemal asks.

“Well, we can't step outside yet.”, the emperor says. “But what if we can step outside, except not in person?”

“You mean...”, his sons say in unison.

“Precisely. We'll be able to kill two birds with one stone.”

He then laughs as soon as the spell is finished.
